What in the hell does Skaneateles even mean?
The word is so annoying that I can't even bring myself to bother looking it up.
It's not a real word - it sounds like the crap some frostbite Scottish turd merchant scraped offers plates into a smelly moor.
It's not conducive to pronunciation.
And it's deceptively written.
Whenever I see Skaneateles, I automatically pronounce it as
Skanklestown
in my head.
And that's obviously a reference to some female with the last name of Clinton.
So, either it gets clarified here or it must hereafter be stricken from the record and replaced with a suitable name, such as "ShitheadsLiveHere".
Unwieldy, yes. But it plays.
