First Lady Jill Biden to visit Saginaw Chippewa Tribe and Detroit
SAGINAW COUNTY, MI - First Lady Jill Biden will land in Saginaw County on her way to visiting Mt. Pleasant and Detroit Sunday, Oct. 24, according to a news release from the White House.
Biden is expected to land at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday at MBS International Airport in Freeland. From there, she will head to Mt. Pleasant, where she is scheduled to hold a listening session at 1:30 p.m. with members of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe at the Ziibiwing Center, located at 6650 E Broadway Road. The session centers on “youth mental health,” according to the release.
She will later head to Detroit to attend Yeshiva Beth Yehudah’s annual dinner at 6 p.m. as the guest speaker, according to the release. In the evening Biden will fly to Joint Base Charleston in South Carolina, where she is expected to host an event with military families Monday afternoon.
