People in general are selfish and self-centered and, thereby, do not even bother themselves to consider how other people feel. It’s Al just me me me, this annoys me, that annoys me, look how I’m being inconvenienced. If people would look up from their phones for a second and be a bit more understanding and compassionate towards others, the world would be a much better place.

Just adding my input to your statement about psychopaths. It seems the world is full of psychopaths and narcissists.
