Seems to me Fauci must be an important blocker. Pretty far over retirement age, so must be an big player.

It looks like someone, I'm guessing, good guys, is turning the thumbscrews one click at a time on Fauci, until Fauci packs it in and leaves.

Fauci is not helping vax support at this critical juncture, and if he tries any bullshit forcing the 5-11 age kids to get vaxxes, he's going to open a hornet's nest with the momma bears. If he doesn't give a shit about puppies, he isn't going to convince anyone he gives a shit about kids. Can't square that circle.

Has Brandon, Psuki, or Fauci himself offered up any position on the puppy torture claims? It isn't going away, Fauci is Menegele 2.0 for the duration at this point, he isn't helping anyone, except, as a blocker. He's the switchman who can divert any inquiries about US level research practices for the last 50 years on to any spur line. Obfuscate and confuse. Can't have anyone new in that role who may open up the archives for a good look see.

I don't think that most people think animals are more important than humans. Some do, I would agree, but most will react to puppies as creatures being abused who can't fight for themselves.

All this does is take Fauci's kneejerk science mantra out of the equation. In human medicine, different doctors having different opinions is regarded as commonplace, so going with a "science" based, "safety first" option can be expected, and perhaps useful for pushing the vax.

There's nothing "scientific" about allowing sand fleas to kill immobilized puppies, though, that most people will come even close to accepting as benefitting mankind in some way. IRL on Main St., If that's Fauci's "science", he can shove it up his ass, and he's not going to get near anyone's kids with it.

Big drop re: puppies, IMO. Devastating.
