California Decriminalized Shoplifting For Amounts Under $950, Guess What Happened Next
Walgreens closed 22 stores in San Francisco where thefts under $950 are effectively decriminalizedâŚ
Shoplifterâs Paradise
Please note San Francisco Has Become a Shoplifterâs Paradise
âTheft in Walgreensâ San Francisco stores is four times the average for stores elsewhere in the country, and the chain spends 35 times more on security guards in the city than elsewhere,â reported the San Francisco Chronicle.
Earlier this year, a spokesman for CVS, which has closed at least two stores, told CNN that of its 155 locations in the Bay Area, the 12 in San Francisco account for 26% of all shoplifting incidents in the region.
Much of this lawlessness can be linked to Proposition 47, a California ballot initiative passed in 2014, under which theft of less than $950 in goods is treated as a nonviolent misdemeanor and rarely prosecuted.
Meanwhile, politically progressive local prosecutors from Los Angeles to Philadelphia and New York compete to see who can prosecute the fewest people.
Just Plain Crazy
This is just plain crazy. And it's another reason for the big backlash I expect in the 2022 midterm elections.
School boards, crime, racist college admissions that favor blacks who cannot read, and critical race theory crammed down kids throats are all part of the extreme Left madness sweeping the country.
In February, I noted Coca Cola Confirms Training Employees âTry To Be Less Whiteâ
In July, I commented Critical Race Theory Should Be Banned, and a Black Parent Explains Why
"Educators use CRT as their own agenda, to indoctrinate the kids to hate each other," said one black parent to a rousing round of applause at a school board meeting.
In May I noted College Entrance Exam SAT Score Racial Profiling: 964=1223
Welcome to new math that says an SAT score of 964 equals a score of 1223.
âWe canât sit on our hands and ignore the disparities of wealth reflected in the SAT,â claim college administrators.
To compensate for the fact that Blacks score lower on average than Asians and Whites, SAT to Give Students âAdversity Scoreâ.
And so here we are. Shoplifting is the fault of Walgreens, not the shoplifters.
This makes about as much sense as everything else sweeping the country.

Censor the internet or face more riots? Facebook âwhistleblowerâ tells lawmakers exactly what they want to hear
Facebook âwhistleblowerâ Frances Haugen is calling for censorship again, after a fresh round of reports implicated the firm in failing to crack down on supposed âmisinformation.â Still think this is organic?
Haugen appeared before the UKâs parliament on Monday in a bid to convince lawmakers that Facebook needs more regulation. In her testimony to a committee working on a proposed Online Safety Bill, Haugen said that âhorrificâ riots and genocides will happen around the world if Facebook is allowed to continue spreading âpolarizingâ content â namely from the right wing.
Comparing Uncle Toddâs QAnon posting to the mass extinction of human life in Ethiopia or Myanmar may seem wacky, and on the surface resembles the moral panic of the 1980s, when the âWashington Wivesâ thought listening to Judas Priest turned children into Satan-worshipping killers. But Haugen is not a lone Helen Lovejoy type demanding that âsomebody think of the children.â Sheâs a billionaire-backed, media-supported censorship advocate who speaks for the worst enemies of free expression.
Her operation is a slick one. Haugen first grabbed attention by claiming that Facebookâs higher-ups know how harmful Instagram is to underage users (âsomebody think of the childrenâ), and within hours of going public had pivoted to pleading with Congress in Washington to exercise more control over political speech on Facebook âfor the common good.â
In the days and hours before Haugen spoke in London, a slew of fresh articles appeared in sympathetic media outlets to bolster her case. Facebook, according to these articles, refused to listen to the demands of staff and remove right-wing news sources such as Breitbart and Charlie Kirk from its âNews Tab.â Furthermore, documents leaked by Haugen revealed that the company refused to take down contentious posts by right-wing figures, preferring instead to appear neutral, even if this meant allowing certain politically influential accounts to evade censorship.
Somehow, this is presented as a bad thing.
