That was beyond a certain tax bracket (50-100k I think). Esp corporate taxes, which was a good idea (if not extreme)…but think of it. If corps can't keep that 90% of income, they give it to employees, shareholders/dividends and invest in the company. These were "trusts" mean to provide jobs/production and facilitate the economy…not dominate it and separate the haves/have nots.

 

Now with historically low/no tax corps we have Bezos, Gates, Google, apple etc becoming Robber Barons and bankrupting cities, while paying low wage jobs. Simplified for TLDR
