Me too anon, 21 years and the company will kick me to the curb without even a thought. The question isn't how to get out of the situation, it's how to turn it into a net positive. As the company I worked grew, by merger and acquisition, it became something I didn't like. The problem was that the risk of leaving, financially speaking, kept me there. There wasn't anything worth leaving for - until now. Keep fighting the best that you can, try to stay positive and turn this into something that you can really be proud of.
