So Much for 'Phony Outrage'—Missouri and Ohio Leave National School Boards Association
The latest Democratic spin attempt to smear concerned parents who are battling local school boards is unraveling rather quickly.
In my Morning Briefing for Tuesday, I wrote that the Democrats and their flying monkeys in the mainstream media had shifted from calling parents “domestic terrorists” to assuring everyone that their worries about what their children are being taught in school are nothing more than phony political outrage. I’ve been saying for several weeks that I don’t think the Democrats really thought this one through, and a couple of things happened a few hours after that Briefing was posted that would indicate this to be so.

COLUMBIA – The Missouri Schools Boards’ Association withdrew from participating in the National School Boards Association on Monday.
The withdrawal, which will be effective immediately, comes after the MSBA Board of Directors met last week.
Officials say the NSBA “demonstrated it does not currently align with the MSBA’s guiding principles of local governance” after the national association requested the FBI investigate parents for threats against educators and school board members without consulting its Missouri chapter.

Democrats are far too emboldened by their embarrassingly slim majority in Congress and the fact that they used a global pandemic to shoehorn Joe Biden into the Oval Office. They’re drunk with a power that doesn’t exist and are behaving as if they’re the Supreme Soviet circa 1955. “Why reach when you can overreach?” seems to be their mantra.
One of the things that has been keeping me relatively sane since January is my firm belief that all of the overreaching will not turn out well for the Democrats. I didn’t see school board meetings being the flashpoint for the first real evidence of it, but here we are.
This may be pure speculation but I can’t really believe that all of the parents who are upset right now are Republicans. The Democrats in D.C. don’t seem to have much in common with Democrats one meets in real America, and I can’t help but think that the progressive nonsense is wearing on them, too.
It was blue-collar Democrats who made the difference for Republicans in 2016. Maybe the GOP can get an assist from them next year, thanks to Beltway Dems leaping off of the progressive cliff.

Texas Governor Signs Bill Requiring Student Athletes Play On Teams Matching Birth Sex
The governor of Texas on Monday signed a law that bars student athletes from playing on sports teams that do not match the sex listed on their birth certificate.
The bill is aimed at restoring rights granted to women under Title IX, its authors say.
Texas House Bill 25 (pdf) bars most interscholastic athletic teams from letting students compete in competitions “that is designated for the biological sex opposite to the student ’s biological sex as correctly stated on” their official birth certificate.
The bill “protects girl’s safety and their right to equal access to athletic opportunities,” state Rep. Valoree Swanson, one of its authors, said during a House session earlier this month.
The University Interscholastic League in 2016 passed a rule with widespread support requiring students compete on teams designated for their biological sexes as stated on their birth certificates.
The bill codifies the rule while stating that certificates are only valid if they are from “at or near” the time of a student’s birth.
Critics claim that the legislation discriminates against students who believe they’re a different sex than their birth sex.
“Transgender and nonbinary youth are already at higher risk for poor mental health and suicide because of bullying, discrimination, and rejection. This misguided legislation will only make matters worse,” Amit Paley, CEO and executive director of The Trevor Project, said in a statement.
The bill was passed 76–61 in the state House and 19–12 in the state Senate. Abbott, a Republican, did not comment on Monday on the bill, the 10th such piece of legislation passed in the United States.
Last week, he said that the legislature “passed legislation to protect the integrity of Texas high school sports.”

PETA Calls on Fauci to Resign After (More) Allegations His Agency Funded Horrific Experiments on Puppies
Dr. Anthony Fauci, already facing calls for his ouster for allegedly lying to Congress about his agency’s funding of controversial genetic research at China’s Wuhan lab, is now facing political heat on a different front.
On Friday, a bipartisan group of lawmakers sent a letter to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NAID) and President Joe Biden requesting information regarding allegations that the government funded experiments that injected puppies with parasites.
“We write with grave concerns about reports of costly, cruel, and unnecessary tax-payer funded experiments on dogs commissioned by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases,” said Republican Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina, one of 24 lawmakers to sign the letter.
By Sunday, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had joined the group of lawmakers demanding action at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

ARKANSAS: Republican Brandt Smith Launches House Campaign With Call For New HUAC To Fight ‘Communist Coup’
Smith says the US is “currently in the middle of a communist coup d’état."
Republican Brandt Smith has announced that he will be challenging Rep. Rick Crawford for his seat to represent Arkansas in the U.S. House, and is calling for a new House UnAmerican Activities Committee (HUAC) that he will fight for if elected. According to Smith, the committee is needed because the United States is “currently in the middle of a communist coup d’état.”
“Numerous members of congress hold dual citizenships,” said Smith in a press release sent to National File. “Our media and intelligence community have been weaponized by global communists that used Covid-19 propaganda and fear mongering to steal a presidential election.” He added, “I’m calling for a Special HUAC to root out the traitors.”
The original House UnAmerican Activities Committee, made famous by then-House members Joseph McCarthy and Richard Nixon, was a controversial House committee assigned to investigate the threat communist infiltration posted to the United States in the 1950s.
While controversial, however, now-declassified Soviet documents prove that communist spies and agents had indeed infiltrated the United States with the goal of spreading the globalist ideology.
“When faced with adversity, Crawford does what career politicians do best; he bows before his corporate masters, choosing to serve them rather than everyday Americans” said Smith. “America needs aggressive fighters in DC who will get in the ring and boldly take on our enemies. I am that fighter.”

VAERS Admits Fewer Than 1% of Vaccine Adverse Events are Reported
The people behind the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) have admitted that “fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported” in an early grant:

FCC Votes to Terminate China Telecom’s Operations in US Over National Security Concerns
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Oct. 26 voted unanimously to bar a leading Chinese state-owned telecommunication firm’s U.S. arm from operating in the country.
China Telecom Americas, a subsidiary of China Telecom, now has 60 days to discontinue services after having operated in the United States for two decades.
The FCC voted 4-0 to terminate China Telecom America’s license to provide domestic and international services within the United States. The regulator said the firm “is subject to exploitation, influence, and control by the Chinese government” and is “highly likely” to comply with Beijing’s orders.
The decision concluded more than a year of U.S. scrutiny into the Chinese telecom provider, which began last April during the Trump era when the Department of Justice and other federal agencies called for the FCC to bar China Telecom’s U.S. operations.
The Justice Department at the time found that China Telecom had made inaccurate statements about where the company stored its U.S. records, which raised questions about who had access to those records. The department also said the firm had made inaccurate public statements about the company’s cybersecurity practices, drawing concerns about its compliance with U.S. cybersecurity and privacy laws.
In March, the FCC began efforts to revoke authorization for three other state-controlled Chinese telecommunication firms, including China Unicom Americas, Pacific Networks, and its wholly-owned subsidiary ComNet, saying the companies “have failed at this stage to dispel serious concerns” about their U.S. authorizations.
The FCC on Tuesday highlighted China Telecom’s ownership by the state, which it said would give Beijing authorities opportunities to “access, store, disrupt, and/or misroute U.S. communications, which in turn allow them to engage in espionage and other harmful activities against the United States.”
China Telecom Americas, the agency said, had shown “a lack of candor, trustworthiness, and reliability that erodes the baseline level of trust” in its conduct towards the commission and other U.S. agencies.

Huma Abedin claims sex assault by US senator in new book
Huma Abedin says in her new memoir that she was once sexually assaulted by a US senator — and was so shaken afterward that she ended up apologizing to him.
Abedin doesn’t identify the offending pol but writes in her upcoming tome “Both/And: A Life in Many Worlds” that she was working as an aide to then-Sen. Hillary Clinton when the incident occurred more than a decade ago, according to the Guardian, which obtained an advance copy of the book.
Abedin — the estranged wife of serial pervert and ex-con former New York Congressman Anthony Weiner — said the assault happened after a dinner attended by “a few senators and their aides.” Clinton, for whom she served as a longtime right-hand, was not there.
“I ended up walking out with one of the senators, and soon we stopped in front of his building and he invited me in for coffee,” Abedin writes. “Once inside, he told me to make myself comfortable on the couch.”
The senator then took off his blazer and rolled up his sleeves as he made coffee and chatted with her, she said.
Then he “plopped down to my right, put his left arm around my shoulder, and kissed me, pushing his tongue into my mouth, pressing me back on the sofa,” she said.
“I was so utterly shocked, I pushed him away,” Abedin writes. “All I wanted was for the last 10 seconds to be erased.”
After the senator apologized and told Abedin he had “misread” her, he asked if she wanted to stay, she said.

Exclusive boys’ school dodges mask rule
A prestigious Sydney boys’ school has avoided health guidelines requiring high school students to wear masks indoors.
The NSW Education and NSW guidelines apply to both public and Catholic schools and also “strongly recommend” primary school students wear face masks as well.
The Sydney Morning Herald reports the majority of independent schools have also decided to follow the guidelines, but King’s School in Parramatta has chosen not to mandate masks for its students.
A letter from headmaster Tony George said the NSW public health orders don’t require students to wear face coverings, and that the school would give students the choice of whether or not they wear masks indoors.
“It is important to note that the NSW Education Department guidelines are primarily intended for NSW public schools,” the letter read, according to the publication.
“The King’s School seriously considers all the advice and guidelines provided by all relevant authorities … it is the Public Health Orders that provide the express direction to independent schools.”
NSW Education’s guidelines also say singing is not permitted in schools, but King’s has said he will allow singing if it is consistent with their educational programs.

Mom, 38, poses as 15-year-old girls online to snare sex predators
There’s no messing with this mom!
Connecticut resident Roo Powell, 38, is snaring sex offenders in the new Discovery+ docuseries “Undercover Underage” by posing as different 15-year-old schoolgirls.
The six-part series — set to premiere Nov. 2 — shows how the mom of three transforms into the teens in a bid to bust cyber creeps who are looking to lure in minors over the internet.
In one episode, Powell poses as “Flori” — “an emotionally fragile high school student from Stamford” — according to the Daily Beast, which previewed the dramatic new series.
At first, “Flori” enters online chatrooms for teenagers, where she is quickly contacted by several sleazeballs lurking on the forums.
The messages “Flori” receives from the men “range from the disgusting to the disgraceful to the outright abominable,” according to the Daily Beast, and Powell is hell-bent on catching the creeps who composed them.
In order to do so, she must keep the charade going and convince the men that “Flori” is a real teen.
The mom dons different wigs and uses “a variety of lighting and touch-up tricks” in order to look more than two decades younger. She sends snaps to the men and even communicates with them over FaceTime if they so request.
Powell is so dedicated to catching the crooks that she even has a “staged bedroom” in her suburban home, which is decorated to look like it belongs to a teenage girl.
But she doesn’t work alone. Powell has an entire crew of assistants aiding her mission, including Norwalk Police Department Detective Mark Suda.
The cop consults with the mom about her elaborate endeavors and pretends to be her Uber driver when she meets the men face-to-face.
Powell is a “child advocate” and the head of the non-profit organization Safe from Online Sex Abuse (SOSA). Once SOSA has enough evidence about the identities of the men, they hand it over to official authorities.
