Cognitive dissonance will prevent most of them from ever having the "oh he was right" moment. Supposedly, they will absorb the drip drip once it is on their tell-a-vision and never give you credit while remembering that you made them mad. Cognitive dissonance is a bitch.

Yep. We're on the exact same page. I have a smart friend who I have tried to help for years. I have him pointed in the right direction now and he calls me up to tell me things I tried to tell him years ago. The very same truths he argued against before, he now tries to educate me with. Frustrating as hell but at least he is learning.
