Governor Anne Waiguru Speaks On Her Looming Arrest Over Corruption
Waiguru condemned the intention to have her grilled over corruption while saying she does not understand why this would come just 48 hours after ditching Jubilee for United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
According to a report by the People Daily, Waiguru is likely to be charged alongside other county officials and members of the county assembly (MCAs) who accompanied her to William Ruto’s Karen residence on Tuesday.

She was accompanied by a group of about [23] Kirinyaga Members of County Assembly.
Political analyst Mark Bichachi argued Waiguru associates with Ruto because of her 'dented' image.
"We know very well where anyone facing corruption charges goes to. Sonko is an example. She is going home where birds of a feather flock together," he said.
