Anon, Don't get all negative and pessimistic.
Relax, take a breather.
Maybe you and your wife can have a brain storming conversation, and you can come up with options to help your situation.
Here is one idea.
At thrift stores, sometimes local used bookstores( depending on if they check their books) you can use your phone to scan books( college education books, some types of craft books etc.
You can find books that cost a buck or 2 and they are worth 40,60, 80, 100 or more.
You can sell them on Amazon, or right to certain booksellers( forgot the name of the book seller sight.) so you may have to do some research.
Family anon makes a few thousand a month doing that.
Not just books, collectibles, toys , antiques etc.
Some people also sell them on ebay.
I think you can list 50 or 100 items each month without any fees for listing.
I used to sell collectibles and antiques.
Find a vase for 50 cents sell it for 80 bucks.
Once you get an idea of what things are worth, and a way to sell them.
You can do flea markets, have a garage sale or sell online.
You can also rent a booth at a collectibles mall.
You may have stuff sitting around that you think is worthless, and it could be worth a lot of money.
People LOVE old toys, especially from the 70's, 60's 50's or older.
Maybe one of these ideas helps you.
GOD BLESS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
