The Gilroy Police Department is investigating a potentially deadly shooting that occurred at a Councilmember's home early Saturday.

GILROY, Calif. (KNTV)- The Gilroy Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting that occurred at the home of city council member Rebeca Armendariz Saturday.
The incident occurred at the 400 block of Las Animas Avenue.
Gilroy Mayor Marie Blankley told NBC Bay Area Saturday that Armendariz was hosting a Halloween party at the time of the shooting.
There are reports of more than one victim in the incident.
Blankey added that Armendariz was not hurt in the incident and is not sure if the shooting happened inside or outside the councilmemberโs home.
At this time, police are asking the public to avoid the area of Murray and Las Animas avenues.
No other details have been released at this time.
