Rapper Fetty Wap faces life in prison, ran bicoastal opioid ring out of Long Island, cops say
NEW YORK – On Friday, in federal court in Central Islip, an indictment was unsealed charging Anthony Cyntje, a New Jersey correction officer, Anthony Leonardi, his brother Robert Leonardi, William Junior Maxwell II, who is the rap artist also known as “Fetty Wap,” Brian Sullivan, and Kavaughn Wiggins with conspiring to distribute and possess controlled substances. Five of the defendants are also charged with using firearms in connection with drug trafficking.
Sullivan was arrested on September 30, 2021, arraigned before United States Magistrate Judge Steven L. Tiscione, and ordered detained pending trial. Anthony Leonardi and Cyntje were arrested on October 13, 2021, arraigned before United States Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields, and ordered detained pending trial. Robert Leonardi was arrested in Pennsylvania on October 13, 2021, arraigned before United States Magistrate Judge Richard A. Lloret of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and ordered detained pending trial. Wiggins was arrested on October 27, 2021, arraigned before United States Magistrate Judge Steven J. Locke, and ordered detained pending trial. Maxwell was arrested yesterday and will be arraigned this afternoon before United States Magistrate Judge Locke.
Breon Peace, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York; Michael J. Driscoll, Assistant Director-in-Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York Field Office (FBI); Timothy D. Sini, District Attorney for Suffolk County; and Stuart Cameron, Acting Commissioner, Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD), announced the charges.
“As alleged, the defendants transported, distributed and sold more than 100 kilograms of deadly and addictive drugs, including heroin and fentanyl, on Long Island, deliberately contributing to the opioid epidemic that has devastated our communities and taken too many lives,” stated United States Attorney Peace. “We will continue to work nonstop with our law enforcement partners to keep our neighborhoods safe from the scourge of dangerous drugs and gun violence.” Mr. Peace thanked the United States Postal Inspection Service for its assistance during the investigation.
“The pipeline of drugs in this investigation ran thousands of miles from the West Coast to the communities here in our area, contributing to the addiction and overdose epidemic we have seen time and time again tear people’s lives apart. The fact that we arrested a chart-topping rap artist and a corrections officer as part of the conspiracy illustrates just how vile the drug trade has become. I want to commend the work of our Long Island Gang Task Force and our law enforcement partners for working day in and day out to get these deadly drugs off our streets,” stated FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge Driscoll.

Erdogan Says Biden Showed Positive Approach Towards Supplies of F-16 Jets to Turkey
US President Joe Biden has demonstrated a positive approach towards the supplies of F-16 jets to Turkey, the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday.
The two presidents met on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Rome on Sunday.
"In our meeting, we talked about F-16s, mostly for the modernization of the current F-16s we have and we also maybe [have] newer F-16s to be dispatched to us," Erdogan told a press conference following the G20 meeting in Rome.
"The agenda included the topic of the F-16s … We saw a positive approach from Biden on this issue. Our heads of the defence ministries are involved in this process," he added.
Commenting on the US supply of weapons to the Syrian Kurdish self-defence forces, he expressed concerns, saying he hopes that "this process will not continue this way in the future."

Trump, who could see the enthusiasm for his campaign exploding in Michigan, once again chose Grand Rapids, MI as his final campaign stop of the season. Cars lined up for over 6 miles to get into the venue, and once inside, Trump supporters waited in line for over one mile. Meanwhile, Joe Biden skipped the state in favor of campaigning from his basement.

Newsweek was quick to berate beautiful Melania.
During Saturday’s World Series baseball game between the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in the Georgia state capital, the former first lady had a broad grin for the crowd who cheered her as she stood next to her husband.
However, as Donald Trump pointed towards the crowd and lapped up the adulation, his wife’s contentment appeared to be short-lived as she looked away and her smile quickly turned upside down.

Whatever the truth of the adage the camera never lies, the image prompted many to speculate about just why her expression dropped like a stone.

Shooting at California City Council Member’s House Leaves One Dead, 3 Wounded
Police are investigating a shooting at a Gilroy, California City Council member’s home that left one dead and three wounded.
The shooting occurred early Saturday morning at a party where one person died at the scene and three others were rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, SF Gate reported.
It is unclear if the shooting happened inside or outside of Gilroy City Council member Rebeca Armendariz’s home.
“By now you may have seen the post from Gilroy Police Department regarding the investigation of a shooting on Las Animas, or one of many social media post speculating about the event and individuals involved,” Armendariz said in a statement. “Because this remains an active investigation, I am unable to share more at this time but I would like to thank all of the members of the community who have reached out to express their concerns for their patience.”
“I am thankful that my family and I, who live on Las Animas, were not hurt in this tragedy, and I pray for those whose loved ones have been touched by what has occurred,” Armendariz said. “In the meantime, we are giving our full cooperation to the Gilroy Police Department in this investigation. Our primary concern is for the individuals impacted and their families. We hope the Gilroy community will come together with love and support for those touched by yesterday’s events at the appropriate time.”

Virginia Dems Cited 300,000+ Mail-In Ballot ‘Delay’ Days Before Election Officials, Media Said Results May Not Be Known On Election Day

Virginia Democrats had filed a lawsuit against USPS complaining about a “delay” of 300,000 mail-in votes just days before election officials and mainstream media outlets began priming the public for a scenario in which the results of the gubernatorial election may not be decided on Election Day due to mail-in ballots.
The Elias Law Group, a firm recently hired by the Terry McAuliffe campaign headed by Clinton-allied attorney Marc Elias, filed a lawsuit on behalf of the Democratic Party of Virginia on Friday October 22 against the United States Postal Service (USPS) citing a “delay” of over 300 thousand mail-in ballots in the gubernatorial race.
“With Election Day less than two weeks away and more than 300,000 Virginians likely to attempt to cast their votes by mail, the failure of the United States Postal Service…to timely process and deliver election-related mail is threatening to disenfranchise thousands of Virginia voters,” the lawsuit claimed.
“Thousands of absentee ballots currently sit at postal facilities throughout the Commonwealth, unprocessed for weeks on end.”
The USPS maintains they have a “robust and tested process for the proper handling and timely delivery of Election Mail.”
“Our Election Mail processes and procedures are fully operational in Virginia. We are not aware of any processing delays of any ballots within our facilities nor any ballot delivery delays, and we have fully communicated this information to election officials,” USPS public relations representative Martha Johnson told The Washington Times.
Just days after the lawsuit was filed, corporate media outlets and partisan election officials began priming Virginia voters for a post-Election Day debacle in which the winner of the race may be unknowable until the following Friday due to mail-in ballots.

In Virginia, as was the same for the 2020 Presidential Election, mail-in votes are for some reason allowed to be counted if they are postmarked by the end of Election Day and received three whole days after the election.
Last year, 300,000 votes for Joe Biden were counted in a series of five suspicious ballot drops in the dead of night after Election Day in Virginia, with one of those dumps accounting for a staggering 73% of all Biden votes in Fairfax County.
As a result of the 308,000-vote ballot dump, Biden appeared to have defeated President Donald Trump by a margin of 80% in Virginia’s most populous county, vastly and suspiciously outperforming failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Legislative Republicans excoriated Gov. Tom Wolf for "playing favorites" after a report concluded his administration helped only Democratic counties secure $21 million in private grants ahead of the 2020 election.
Broad + Liberty reported the Pennsylvania Department of State and various left-wing groups worked together to funnel private grant funding to Democratic-leaning counties without offering the same assistance to Republican-leaning counties.
"This latest report indicates the administration and the Department of State played favorites when they connected certain counties to large sums of grant funding while ignoring other counties," Rep. Seth Grove (R-York) said. "Not only did this create unequal access to voters, but it also essentially disenfranchised voters in counties that did not receive equal funding."
About half of the money — procured through the Chicago-based Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) — went to Philadelphia County, Grove said, representing about $10 spent per voter there. Other counties received around $1 per voter, he said.
The Center Square previously reported 13 counties across Pennsylvania and the city of Philadelphia received the private grants last year after challenges arising from the COVID-19 pandemic forced local officials to burn through their annual budgets long before the Nov. 3 election.
In an interview with APM Reports, Chester County's acting Director of Voting Services Bill Turner described the $2.5 million grant his office received as "a lifesaver" that he used to fund 14 drop boxes, body cameras and extra poll workers.
"Honestly, I don't know what we would have done without it," Turner said.
CTCL donated $350 million to more than 2,500 jurisdictions across the country for election administration after the federal government set aside $400 million for the cause — far short of the $4 billion some analysts said was necessary.
The organization said any election department could apply, and grants ranged from $5,000 to $19 million.
According to the Broad + Liberty report, however, an invitation to apply for funding was sent to all counties Sept 1 after Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg donated $250 million — nearly a month and a half after Democrat-leaning counties were invited, the report found.
Senate President Pro Tempore Jake Corman (R-Bellefonte) criticized the state's role in the grant process and said it raises "even more questions" about the "blatant political bias" in the election.
"Many lawmakers have questioned why private election grants were awarded predominantly to counties that voted for Democrats, even after accounting for population density," he said. "Now we have emails showing the Department of State, the Governor's Office and various left-wing groups were working together to ensure private grant money was funneled to areas where Democrats were expected to vote in droves."
