That requires the possessive pronoun. i.e. ….it had to be addressed prior to HIS leaving,
Dementia is the worst thing that can happen to a person. Nothing could be worse for a person to spent the last 3-5 years of his/her life suffering from dementia. What's more, the suffering of their family's going through. Speaking of first hand knowledge mid-term (maybe a year or so to go) is that dementia inflected forgot what shit is. They are in wonder when the stuff comes out their asshole. Some even grab turds and holds it in their hands in front of you. The keep talking and your heart keeps hurting.
