Massive gas explosions rock Mexican city, killing one and leveling 30-plus buildings

Rescuers were still searching rubble Sunday evening for residents who may be trapped.

A gas leak possibly caused by an illegal tap ignited massive explosions in Mexico's Puebla state on Sunday, killing at least one person, injuring 15 and leveling more than 30 buildings.

Search-and-rescue team worked into Sunday evening to find resident who could be trapped under collapsed buildings.

Puebla Gov. Miguel Barbosa said residents reported the smell of gas in the early morning hours, prompting an evacuation of a half-mile area before the first of three large explosions ignited around 2:50 a.m.

“If there had not been an evacuation and there had not been coordination, there would have been a tragedy of great proportions,” Barbosa said.

The governor vowed to find those responsible for the blasts.

Javier González, an official with Petróleos Mexicanos, told The Associated that the tap was installed on a property where officials found a tanker truck and 25 gas cylinders.

Feds creating comic books to push COVID masks, fight disinformation on 5G and elections

Homeland's cybersecurity agency has published two "graphics novels" with ambitions for more, but some see anti-conservative bias.

Colorado voters perusing their Secretary of State Web site ahead of this week's elections are directed in the "What You Can Do" section to a most-unexpected resource: a comic book purporting to educate them on "deep fakes," "troll farms" and "election misinformation."

If the tool isn't surprising enough to voters, its publisher just may be: It's Uncle Sam.

Since October 2020, the Homeland Security Department's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has published two "graphic novels" aimed at combatting what it sees as two dangerous myths in America: Elections can be stolen and 5G towers have a connection to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The ranking Republican on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs said the comic books are powerful examples of ideology being placed ahead of security.

"When I helped pass the bill to rename CISA, the intent was to help the agency focus on Cyber and Infrastructure security, not establish itself as a comic book publisher or the Ministry of Truth," Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., told Just the News on Sunday "This is just one more sad example of what America gets with Democrat governance: less security, more nanny state.”

CISA declined to say how much taxpayer money was spent on the comic books, but defends the work.

"Disinformation campaigns are a direct threat to our democracy," the agency said. "Ensuring that the American people have the tools to recognize false narratives is crucial to protect our nation. The Resilience Series is an innovative way to reach new audiences and raise awareness of the dangers associated with the spread of false information online."

The comic books feature high-quality artistry and story writing and feature memorable protagonists: international troll farm hunters in the election information narrative "Real Fake" and a young crusading journalist who combats the 5G conspiracy theory in the story "Bug Bytes" after her repairman father is beat up by thuggish Michigan 5G opponents setting fire to a 5G tower.

The publications, one released a year ago and the other in April, even come with promotional YouTube trailers as well as plenty of paternalistic messaging.

"What is it, Dad?! You do realize that I am a woman in her mid-twenties," the fictitious Bug Bytes journalist Ava Williams asks when her father Frank calls her from his cell phone.

"Nothing, other than I noticed you didn't have your mask on," her father responds. "Just reminding you to be safe!"

Just before the exchange, the comic book features an episode on a college campus, where a young female student wearing a COVID-19 protective mask implores one of her fellow male students to do the same.

"Could you please put on your mask! There are hundreds of people here! And I am not ready for you to become a statistic!" the female student declares.

Joe Biden: Pope Francis Is ‘Everything I Learned About Catholicism’

President Joe Biden effusively praised Pope Francis on Sunday, reflecting on his personal audience he had at the Vatican on Friday.

“He is everything I learned about Catholicism from the time I was a kid going from grade school through high school,” Biden said.

The president spoke about Pope Francis at a press conference with reporters in Europe after the G20 Summit.

“This is a man of great empathy. He’s a man who understands that part of his Christianity is to reach out and forgive,” Biden said.

Biden surprised the Catholic world after he revealed details of his private audience with the pope, claiming the pontiff told him he was a “good Catholic” and should keep receiving communion. The Vatican declined to detail the pope’s comments, citing the private nature of the conversation.

Biden publicly supports the right for a woman to abort her unborn child, and publicly voices his opposition to Catholic teaching that life begins at conception.

The president did not talk about abortion, but expressed his feelings about Pope Francis and his papacy.

Biden said he favored Pope Francis’ “Who am I to judge?” comment about homosexuals to reporters after he was elected pope.

“There’s always been debate in the church going back to Pope John XXIII about reaching out and embracing people with differences,” he said.

Biden also revealed the details of another private conversation he had with Pope Francis after he was elected president.

“When I won he called me to tell me how much he appreciated the fact that I would focus on the poor and focus on the needs of people who were in trouble,” he said.

Biden also recalled when he “lost the real part of his soul” after his son Beau Biden died and that he took a lot of comfort from the pope during his visit to Philadelphia, PA in 2015.

He recalled the pope met personally with his family to comfort them.

“Pope Francis has become someone who has provided great solace for my family when my son died,” he said.

Biden concluded that Pope Francis was working to establish “peace and decency and honor” in the world.

“He’s just a fine decent honorable man. And we keep in touch,” he concluded.

Scott Morrison’s office linked to another sex scandal with federal police investigating

One of Scott Morrison’s senior staffers and a current and former Liberal Party MP are involved in another sex scandal to hit the federal parliament with federal police investigating. In an odd side twist, it has already claimed the scalp of a staffer working for federal Labor MP Kristina Keneally but more on that later in the article.

The bottom line to the scandal is a female Liberal Party member claims she had a sexual relationship with Liberal Party MP after he lied about his marital status. He subsequently retired from politics, but he is alleged to have also had an affair with a current federal Liberal MP. The female Liberal Party member complained via email to a senior NSW Liberal Party executive, but she says no action was taken. She also says she complained to senior member of Scott Morrison’s office who then also acted inappropriately.

Below I have named Scott Morrison’s staffer “Steve” and the former federal MP “Ben” to keep it consistent with the below video.

In relation to the former Liberal MP, she says:

“I have, on more than one occasion, had to refer matters to the NSW Police due to serious threats to the safety of myself and my family. The Liberal Party is yet to take any disciplinary action against “Ben”. Given the trauma that I sustain to this day, I do not see the “Ben” matter as historical.”

So, there are some very serious issues that the Liberal Party are alleged to have covered up which they have a long history of doing.

McAuliffe promised good, factory jobs to a small Mississippi town. Instead, he sent the jobs to China.

A nearly decade-old short movie by the name of Fast Terry has resurfaced online ahead of Election Day in Virginia, re-exposing the long history of seedy business moves and deep Communist Chinese ties of Democrat nominee for Governor and longtime Clinton operative Terry McAuliffe. Producers bill the film as “the movie Terry McAuliffe doesn’t want you to see” before Election Day.

The 30-minute Fast Terry movie, directed by Jason Meath, funded by Citizens United, and released in 2013, profiles some of the communities unfortunate enough to have been ripped off by Terry McAuliffe and his largely Communist Chinese business associates.

The stories of shady dealings and broken promises are strikingly similar no matter where McAuliffe and his big carpetbag attempted to lay down business or political roots, and they always seem to coalesce around the green industries that McAuliffe and his fellow Democrats have so long sought to fund with taxpayer money.

Fast Terry, billed by its producers as “the movie Terry McAuliffe doesn’t want you to see” was initially released ahead of Virginia’s 2013 Election, which ultimately made McAuliffe Governor after he had suffered a humiliating defeat in the Democrat primary just 4 years earlier. Now, as an unpopular McAuliffe seeks a second non-consecutive term and Election Day closes in, the movie is once again gaining traction.

“Fast Terry was produced to finally shed light on a man who has embellished his business record,” an “About Terry” section on the film’s website reads. “Terry McAuliffe has been a flamboyant political fundraiser who built his businesses and wealth through political connections,” the section continues. “From chief fundraiser for the Democratic Party, to the Clintons’ right hand man, McAuliffe has profited from being at the center of power.

In this 30-minute documentary, Fast Terry exposes how McAuliffe’s politically motivated business decisions and empty promises have impacted the lives of Americans from Franklin, Virginia to Tunica, Mississippi.”

The Fast Terry movie proceeds to hone in on McAuliffe’s sketchy business dealings surrounding the Communist Chinese-born GreenTech car company, which McAuliffe purchased, and attempted to move to Virginia before ultimately setting up shop in Tunica, Mississippi, receiving millions in financial support from the state government. The company was also tied to Anthony Rodham, the brother of Hillary Clinton, and Rodham was named in a lawsuit eventually filed against him and McAuliffe by their Communist Chinese backers over the failed venture.

Despite promising a massive supply of new jobs to Mississippi and the Tunica region, McAuliffe’s GreenTech company acted more as a dog and pony show meant to impress Communist Chinese investors, former employees say.

According to ex-GreenTech workers, McAuliffe ran a make-believe operation where workers who were hired to build cars spent the days sweeping up the facility and trying to “look busy.” According to the former employees, many of whom were promised steady work almost immediately before being laid off, they only built vehicles when Communist Chinese investors were on the scene for inspections.

Also featured in Fast Terry are the dealings of McAuliffe in the small town of Franklin, Virginia, where he claimed on many occasions to be operating a company named Franklin Pellets, producing wood pellets in a plant run by International Paper and S.T. Tissues. McAuliffe told investors, reporters, and voters on many occasions that he was creating green biofuel jobs in the plant, though locals told interviewers that the Franklin Pellets operation didn’t even exist and that the Franklin Pellets company was effectively operating nothing.

Following campaign stumps from Barrack Obama, Stacey Abrams, and Joe Biden, individuals identified as Democrat operatives dressed in white button-down shirts and pro-Trump baseball caps, carried tiki torches and posed in front of Glenn Youngkin’s campaign bus during a stump in Charlottesville, attempting to draw comparisons to the Unite the Right rally. “We’re all in for Glenn,” the group reportedly said.

The anti-Trump Lincoln Project, which has been tied to pedophilia and has financially supported McAuliffe’s run for Governor, has claimed responsibility for the incident.

If Assange dies in UK prison it would mean he’d been ‘tortured to death,’ UN special rapporteur on torture tells RT

WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange isn’t mentally ill and his psychological problems are solely the result of the abuse he suffers in isolation, Nils Melzer, the UN special rapporteur on torture, has told RT’s Going Underground.

It would be a “tragedy” if Assange died in London’s Belmarsh maximum security prison due to his poor health, Melzer replied when asked about such an unsettling scenario by host Afshin Rattansi.

If he should die in prison he's effectively been tortured to death. That’s the reality of it, and I’m not exaggerating.

The official said he had visited Assange behind bars in May 2019 together with a team of medical experts and “we all independently from each other came to this conclusion at that time that his life was in danger.” The publisher’s mental and physical condition has entered a “downward spiral” since then, he added.

The WikiLeaks co-founder has been held in Belmarsh since April 2019 over breach of bail. Before that, the 50-year-old spent seven years holed up in the Ecuadorian Embassy in the British capital, where he sought refuge after an arrest warrant was issued over sexual assault allegations that he had always denied. The investigation against him was eventually dropped due to a lack of evidence. Assange’s supporters insisted he was actually being persecuted over his legitimate journalistic activities.

He is wanted in the US on espionage charges over the release of classified documents, including ones on Iraq, Afghanistan and Guantanamo Bay, by WikiLeaks. He could face up to 175 years behind bars if he’s extradited to America, despite the fact that the key witness in the case was revealed to have fabricated his claims.

In early 2021, a British judge turned down Washington’s extradition request, citing Assange’s poor health and a risk of suicide. The US’ appeal against the ruling was heard in the UK High Court earlier this week, with no immediate ruling being announced.

“Julian Assange is not mentally ill… He’s a very resilient, intelligent man. He doesn’t belong to a mental institution, right? So, if he has mental issues now it’s because of the abuse that he had suffered,” Melzer insisted.

“Grave medical harm has been caused to him in the last decade through constant isolation” and other abusive means, he said, adding that the WikiLeaks co-founder now suffers from “constant anxiety.”

The UN official slammed the UK prison authorities for the way they have treated the publisher. “You can’t get someone to recover from torture by continuing to torture him. And that’s exactly what they do. They isolate him; they keep him in this limbo,” he argued.

Melzer reiterated that there were no grounds to hold Assange at a maximum security prison, as he’s currently not serving any sentence and not facing actual criminal charges. “Even if we presume for the purpose of the argument that the extradition is legitimate and we have to somehow secure his presence, he can be in house arrest,” the rapporteur argued, adding that the WikiLeaks co-founder is being “isolated absolutely unnecessary and therefore unlawfully.”

‘Use guns! Take back the Senate!’ Lindsey Graham called for Capitol police to SHOOT Jan 6 rioters – report

A new account of the Capitol riot on January 6 claims that Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) at one point called for police to “use” their guns to “take back the Senate,” according to the Washington Post.

The report’s second chapter, entitled ‘Bloodshed’, recounts Graham being evacuated from his chambers to be taken to an undisclosed location after rioters had breached the Capitol.

“What are you doing? Take back the Senate! You’ve got guns. Use them,” the senator yelled at the Senate sergeant-in-arms, according to sources cited by the Post.

Graham then told police they are given guns “for a reason” and to “use them.” A gun was eventually used by a Capitol officer, leading to the death of Ashli Babbitt.

The US lawmakers, including Graham, were gathered on January 6, 2021 to certify Joe Biden’s presidential victory over Trump, with a massive crowd outside demanding the results to be overturned – before the rioters stormed the building. The riot followed a nearby rally featuring then-President Donald Trump continuing to refer to the election as fraudulent.

The Post goes on to claim that Graham was also in contact with Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, at the time and pleaded with her to have her father help “get these people out of here.”

"This thing is going south,” Graham said, insisting Trump tell them to “stand down.”

The former president would end up doing exactly that, releasing a video during the riot and telling anyone near the Capitol to “go home.” However, social media swiftly censored and limited its spread under the pretext of Trump sending supporters a “mixed message.”

Graham has had a rocky relationship with Trump, publicly breaking from him following January’s riot. “I hate it being this way. Oh my god I hate it… but today all I can say is count me out. Enough is enough. I tried to be helpful,” he said following the riot on the Senate floor at the time.

Since then, Graham has grown more supportive of Trump, even claiming last month that he wants Trump to run for president again in 2024. Trump, however, has trashed the South Carolina senator, recently saying he should be “ashamed” of himself over reports Graham investigated fraud claims into the 2020 presidential election and found no merit to them.
