If there is an all-knowing, all-seeing, timeless architect of the entire universe, "It" isn't a Christian or member of any other human created Religion.

Ergo, the Bible is not the inerrant word of "God". It is a written collection of oral traditions that ancient humans used to explain their existence, and to justify their behavior.

Why do people kill? To increase the length of their life, or gain prosperity at the expense of others.

What's the point of life in general, not just human life? To perform the functions required by the law of entropy…to disburse pockets of energy. As long as sufficient energy exists to support a human population, humans will exist. When the energy requirements for humanity no longer exist, neither will humans.

The giant dinosaurs died because the earth changed and they could no longer exist on the available resources. Small dinosaurs (like alligators and birds) remained, and the mammal population increased in the post K-T era, giving rise to primates.
