There is a troubling new faction of millennials who seek sterilization in their teens or early twenties. Sterilization is a process that renders having children totally impossible. This rapidly growing trend is called the “child free movement” or being “voluntarily childless.” It’s the newest and possibly most extreme kind of liberal indoctrination being forced upon young “progressives.” They think this bold decision makes them more free and powerful, but rather, it shows the extent of their hopelessness and powerlessness.
This narrative, which has gained great popularity thanks to the political ruling class and the liberal legacy media, is that remaining childless is hip, chic, and smart. Candace Owens speaks about this quite extensively. You may be surprised to learn that nearly every political issue involves pushing the happily childless agenda.
Even climate change is a reason to be barren. You can’t have a baby, the world is going to end in X number of years. X is used because the left keeps moving the goal post as we continue to live past our initially indicated expiration dates. On January 27, 2006, former Vice President Al Gore famously said that the world was going to end in exactly ten years if we didn’t stop using fossil fuels. It doesn’t take a fortune teller to see that he was wrong. However, we continue to hear similar language from climate scholars such as AOC and wise-beyond-her-years (eye roll) Greta Thunberg.
This is not just an important scare tactic used to control all sorts of economic policies under the guise of the environment, but it is also an excellent way to get you to NOT have children. They constantly implore, “You can’t have children. It would be irresponsible because the world is going to end in X number of years.”
The next way that the left gets you to choose isolation, or a life without a family is the completely false narrative of correcting the gender wage gap. Now, this conversation has gotten tricky for lack-of-logic leftists because they no longer believe in gender, but they still use this argument when convenient.
It is convenient when they try to convince women that their only future is in the workplace. They tell young women that they must be the CEO, the boss, the leader. What about a spouse and children? You don’t need THAT, you have a work-husband or work-wife, they say. Your job is your baby, they say.
So, without a family, your job is your primary focus. You aren’t worried about working long hours, as you have no husband or children for whom you need to rush home. You work hard, make money, pay insane taxes to the government, get a raise, make more money, and pay more taxes. This is a vicious cycle, year after year. You, without children, are an excellent source of income for the government.
Even the discussion about gender fluidity is used by the left to keep you childless. When they say that men can have babies, that is a calculated statement. If there are no genders and anyone can have a baby, is it really special to give birth? Of course not. Any average Joe can do it. Motherhood is not celebrated. The bond between mother and child doesn’t exist. Boring . . . on to the next thing! No kids needed!
When you read the articles about voluntary sterilization, they read like liberal propaganda pieces. The authors who promote this lifestyle sound like brainwashed foot soldiers for the left. They think that a chosen life of childlessness makes them a superior individual, a more critical thinker, more highly evolved. Rather, it makes them short-sighted sheep who are beholden to the religion of left-wing ideology. One is not more evolved for choosing childlessness, but rather the exact opposite in promoting extinction.
