Barcelona Football Star Sergio Aguero Taken to Hospital After Experiencing Chest Discomfort During Match – Six Weeks After Promoting Vaccine to 12-Years-Old

Barcelona striker Sergio Aguero was taken immediately to the hospital to undergo a series of medical tests after suffering chest pain and dizziness during his home debut for Barcelona against Alaves on Saturday. Barcelona was held to 1-1 draw by Alaves at the Camp Nou.

The 33-year-old football star was replaced at half-time after suffering chest discomfort. Medical staff came to assist Aguero and he was treated while he lay flat on the pitch for several minutes after he was seen holding his chest. They’re trying to put him on a stretcher but he was able to walk off the pitch unaided.

He was then transferred to Barcelona Hospital in an ambulance for further tests and it was discovered that he suffered from an undiagnosed cardiac arrhythmia or a heart rate rhythm disorder.

It is not yet confirmed whether Aguero has been vaccinated or not. But according to a report from Football Espana last September, Barcelona has moved quickly to vaccinate its players and staff against COVID-19.

Aguero is open in his support of the COVID-19 vaccine. Six weeks ago, the football star went online and promote the COVID-19 vaccine to 12-year-olds.

Shanghai Disneyland Sparks Chaos As 33,000 Visitors Locked-Down, Forced To Undergo COVID Testing

On Sunday, Shanghai Disneyland went into partial lockdown after a woman who visited the park tested positive for COVID-19. Hours before the night of Halloween, the park temporarily suspended entry of any new guests and requested tens of thousands within the facility to undergo testing before exiting.

The government and Disneyland staff sealed off the entire venue. A few rides were open, but it was utterly bizarre that hundreds of people in full medical hazmat suits were dispatched to the park after one person tested positive for the virus. Everyone inside, approximately 33,000, had to take a nucleic acid COVID-19 test before exiting.

Disneyland issued this statement on their Weibo account:

At the same time, all tourists who are already in the park need to undergo nucleic acid testing at the exit when leaving the park, and follow the CDC's requirements for a nucleic acid test after 24 hours. After the two nucleic acid tests are negative, do the next 12 days independently Health monitoring.

Other reports show that local authorities shut down a subway line connecting the park to surrounding metro areas and had 220 buses take parkgoers home for self-isolation. The park is closed on Monday and will be on Tuesday. There was no word on when it would reopen.

Mainland China has reported new virus cases in the last few weeks, mainly in Inner Mongolia or other regions in the north. The response by the country outlines their zero-tolerance policy against the virus, which has allegedly proven successful.

Disney owns about 43% of Shanghai Disneyland and will offer refunds for tickets sold between Oct. 31- Nov. 2. The US entertainment company is expected to report fiscal fourth-quarter on Nov. 10.

In recent weeks, leaked Chinese Communist Party documents revealed that China's leadership had commanded local officials to be on alert for another large-scale COVID outbreak. Last month, Wuhan, China, officials in Hubei Province placed a massive order for PCR tests.

After 33,000 tests, none of the parkgoers tested positive. The harsh measure begs the question of whether the shutdown was more political than health-related.

Erdogan to skip COP26 at the last minute, blames UK

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced he will not be attending the COP26 climate conference, after the UK failed to meet the “security protocol standards” that were requested by the Turkish government.

Speaking on Monday, Erdogan stated that he would no longer be travelling from the G20 Summit in Rome to the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, after the UK informed the Turkish government “at the last minute” that it could not meet their security demands.

“There were security protocol standards that we had demanded for the United Nations Climate Conference in Glasgow. These are standards in protocols that are always applied to us and all leaders in all visits. However, we were told that these will not be met at the last minute,” the Turkish president claimed.

According to Erdogan, the last straw was when Turkish officials learned the security measures that would not be implemented for his government had been “provided for another country as an exception,” accusing the UK of failing to “comply with diplomatic practices.”

The Turkish stated that the issue had initially been resolved by UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, but British officials informed Ankara that the Scottish government had blocked the request, resulting in the decision to pull out of the summit.

Back in October, ahead of COP26, Turkey’s parliament formally ratified the Paris Climate Accord, the last G20 country to do so. The decision to back the agreement came after years of debate between Ankara and other signatories over claims that Turkey should not be classed as a developed nation, reducing its access to climate funding.

On Wednesday, Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding that will see it receive $3.2 billion in loans to meet the climate goals laid out in the Paris Climate Accord. The funding will be provided as part of a deal backed by the World Bank, France, and Germany.

US mother accuses school board of teaching her daughter she was ‘BORN EVIL’ because she is WHITE

The Virginia school board at the center of a row over its gender-affirmation policies and alleged critical race theory (CRT) curriculum has been accused by a parent of teaching primary schoolers that white people are “born evil.”

At a Loudoun County School Board meeting last week, a mother revealed that she had pulled her children from the county’s public school system after her six-year-old daughter asked her last year if she was “born evil because she was a white person.” The child had apparently learned this in a history lesson taught at her former school.

Video of the incident was widely shared over the weekend. It showed the unidentified woman accusing the Loudoun County Public School (LCPS) board of allegedly forcing its “uncompromising political agenda” on parents. Claiming that the board was “[destroying] our schools,” she called on its members to resign over a series of recent scandals.

Over the last month, the national spotlight has been trained on Loudoun County after school administrators reportedly covered up a sexual assault by a supposedly ‘gender-fluid’ student. The unnamed “boy in a skirt” was convicted last week of forcible sodomy and forcible fellatio in relation to the rape of a teenage girl at Stone Bridge High School in May. While that incident was being investigated, he was quietly transferred to Broad Run High School, where he allegedly assaulted another student on October 6.

In August, the LCPS board enforced policy proposal 8040 – a directive that requires district schools to affirm the preferred gender of students by calling them their chosen pronouns and allowing them access to gender-restricted areas, such as locker rooms and bathrooms.

Last week, students at Broad Run staged a walkout to protest the school board’s policy as “enabling” behavior. At a previous school board meeting last month, an angry parent said the policy was “rushed through to a vote without consideration for the safety of all students, simply to satisfy a liberal agenda.”

Epstein's Latest Casualty: Barclays CEO Jes Staley Resigns Over Ties To Suicided Pedophile

Yet another finance titan has just been forced out of their CEO job due to unsavory ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Months after Apollo co-founder and former CEO Leon Black abruptly left private equity giant Apollo following an internal uprising over his ties to the now-deceased Epstein, Staley, - who had been tasked with transforming Barclays' into one of Europe's top banks with a focus on its credit card business - has been forced out after a regulatory investigation that found Staley's ties to Epstein were closer than he had let on. Staley told his board that his relationship with Epstein ended in 2015, but British regulators appear to dispute this.

In a statement on Monday, Barclays said it was only made aware of the results of the probe by the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority - the UK's top regulatory authorities when it comes to the City of London - on Friday. In a statement the board backed Staley, but still reluctanctly allowed him to stand down.

"In view of those conclusions, and Mr Staley’s intention to contest them, the board and Mr Staley have agreed that he will step down from his role as group CEO and as a director of Barclays."

The statement added: "It should be noted that the investigation makes no findings that Mr Staley saw, or was aware of, any of Mr Epstein’s alleged crimes, which was the central question underpinning Barclays’ support for Mr Staley following the arrest of Mr Epstein in the summer of 2019."

Per the FT, the bank was blindsided by the findings. Previously, it had planned to send Staley to the COP26 climate talks in Glasgow this week.

Instead, Staley will be replaced by his longtime lieutenant, CS Venkatakrishnan - known as Venkat - head of the global markets trading unit at the bank as well as its former chief risk officer, who will attend in Staley's stead.

The Epstein probe wasn't the first that Staley faced which questioned his fitness to run the British lender. He was censured and fined £642,000 in 2018 after he repeatedly tried to determine the identity of a whistleblower, against the advice of colleagues and in a breach of the bank’s rules, after the bank got embroiled in a series of base-rate, currency rate and other market manipulation scandals.

At the time, the FCA said Staley “allowed his own interest in the complaint to override his objectivity”.

Staley sent a final memo to his shocked staff on Monday morning, he explained the difficult personal decision to step down" was because "I do not want my personal response to those matters to be a distraction from the fantastic work you do," Staley said according to a copy of a letter seen by the Financial Times.

Staley is only the latest in a string of Barclays CEOs to leave under a dark cloud. His predecessor Anthony Jenkins, left following a series of scandals, while former CEO Bob Diamond was effectively scapegoated for the LIBOR-fixing scandals of the early 2010s.

Ghislaine Maxwell’s accusers can remain anonymous, be called ‘victims’ at trial: judge

Ghislaine Maxwell’s accusers will be allowed to remain anonymous when they testify at her trial later this month — and prosecutors can refer to them as “minors” and “victims,” a federal judge ruled Monday.

The 59-year-old accused madam appeared in Manhattan federal court Monday wearing a blue prison uniform and white mask for the final motions hearing before her trial is scheduled to start on Nov. 29.

She watched as Judge Alison Nathan dismissed many of the last-minute restrictions her legal team tried to get imposed on testimony accusing her of acquiring girls for late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein to abuse.

Nathan denied Maxwell’s bid to “preclude reference to the accusers as ‘victims’ or ‘minor victims,'” arguing it would be both “impractical” and “unnecessary” given what the court will hear.

She also ruled to let the accusers testify using pseudonyms to prevent them from possible harassment.

Nathan highlighted the trial of perverted Nxivm cult leader Keith Raniere — who is serving 120 years behind bars — as one where key evidence would not have emerged had his victims been forced to be identified.

Maxwell’s team was also barred from using a non-prosecution agreement Epstein had reached when he was convicted in 2008 of sex offenses with underage girls in Florida.

The judge had previously ruled that the agreement did not shield Maxwell from her own charges.

The British media heiress — daughter of late disgraced tycoon Robert Maxwell — was also told her case could not push the idea that the government only went after her because of press coverage.

“The court finds that this specific proffered evidence is irrelevant to the charged conduct and is therefore inadmissible,” Nathan ruled in the hearing.

Maxwell is accused of procuring women and underage girls for multimillionaire pedophile Epstein to abuse in the 1990s and early 2000s.

She has been held since her arrest in July 2020. She has pleaded not guilty.

Prospective jurors will fill out questionnaires later in the week and oral questioning will begin in mid-November.

Epstein hanged himself in his Manhattan lockup in August 2019 while awaiting trial on serious sex-trafficking charges.

Huma Abedin says she hasn’t ruled out running for office

Huma Abedin didn’t rule out a run for political office when asked about that possibility on Monday.

The former top aide to Hillary Clinton was asked on the “Today” show if she’d consider her own run for office after spending years behind the scenes as Clinton’s confidant and with her own estranged husband, Anthony Weiner.

“I am copying Shonda Rhimes. This is my year of saying yes,” Abedin said, referring to the Hollywood heavyweight’s memoir, “Year of Yes.”

“I’m not saying no to anything,” she added.

Co-anchor Savannah Guthrie replied, “Wow. OK, you’re making a little news there again. That was yes.”

“Well, that was I don’t know,” said Abedin, laughing.

Abedin, 45, began working as a White House intern for Clinton in 1996, but her role grew as the former first lady sought various political offices.

Abedin became an aide to Clinton in the US Senate in 2000 and served as her deputy chief of staff when she was secretary of state under President Barack Obama. She also was a vice chairwoman of Clinton’s doomed 2016 presidential campaign.

She wed then-Congressman Weiner (D-NY) in 2010. But a year later, Weiner resigned from the House of Representatives after he was busted sending explicit photos to women. His ongoing scandals also tanked his once-promising mayoral run in 2013.

President Trump’s was 30 minutes,” Jiang tweeted, although she left out the fact that Biden – the only Catholic among the three – might have had more to discuss with the Pope simply because they shared the same faith.

Kansas State Rep. Aaron Coleman (D) has been arrested by Overland Park Police as of 8:15pm Saturday. He is now in the Johnson County Jail and has been charged with domestic battery.

While the exact circumstances of Coleman's arrest remain undisclosed as of the time of this writing, the politician has a history of accusations of physical violence towards his significant others, and was subject to a legislative inquiry earlier in 2021 over the issue.

Coleman, 21, had a previous run-in with the Kansas Department of Labor after he allegedly tried several times to break into parts of the building that were off-limits to people who weren't directly employed there, and verbally abused an officer when caught.

According to the Kansas City Star, Kansas State Minority Leader Tom Sawyer (D) made the following statement:

"We are watching closely to make sure we gather all the facts. His constituents and the State of Kansas would be better served if he were to resign and get the help he badly needs. However, I want to reiterate again that the House Democratic Caucus does not condone this behavior in any way, shape, or form."

In a similar fashion, Kansas House Speaker Ron Ryckman (R) also commented, "I am concerned for everyone involved. I know that law enforcement will thoroughly investigate and assess the situation so that we can take appropriate action."

This is not the first Kansas state representative that has been arrested this year. State Rep. Mark Samsel (R) was also arrested on May 1 2021 after getting into a physical fight with a student in his classroom.'

Gates - once the richest man on earth who has dropped to fourth on the Forbes Rich List ranking with $124 billion - transported his guests by helicopter from his $2million-a-week rental yacht 'Lana' to the Sea Me Beach club in Fethiye.

According to reports, Bezos also traveled to Gates’ superyacht by helicopter.

The Blue Origin founder is said to have made the 120-mile round trip journey by chopper from Govoka to the resort town of Fethiye.

The jet fuel used to power helicopters emits 21.095 pounds of carbon dioxide per gallon burned.

Since helicopters use up approximately 10.75 miles per gallon, Bezos’ helicopter emitted some 215 pounds of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

Both Bezos and Gates are reportedly staying on superyachts - each of which emits 7,020 tons of carbon dioxide per year, or 19 tons per day.

Social media users reacted with fury, noting that Bezos and Gates were contradicting their own statements about the need to tackle climate change.

China's growing military muscle and its drive to end America predominance in the Asia-Pacific is rattling the U.S. defense establishment. American officials see trouble quickly accumulating on multiple fronts — Beijing's expanding nuclear arsenal, its advances in space, cyber and missile technologies, and threats to Taiwan.

“The pace at which China is moving is stunning,” says Gen. John Hyten, the No. 2-ranking U.S. military officer, who previously commanded U.S. nuclear forces and oversaw Air Force space operations.

At stake is a potential shift in the global balance of power that has favored the United States for decades. A realignment more favorable to China does not pose a direct threat to the United States but could complicate U.S. alliances in Asia. New signs of how the Pentagon intends to deal with the China challenge may emerge in coming weeks from Biden administration policy reviews on nuclear weapons, global troop basing and overall defense strategy.

For now, officials marvel at how Beijing is marshaling the resources, technology and political will to make rapid gains — so rapid that the Biden administration is attempting to reorient all aspects of U.S. foreign and defense policy.

The latest example of surprising speed was China's test of a hypersonic weapon capable of partially orbiting Earth before reentering the atmosphere and gliding on a maneuverable path to its target. The weapon system's design is meant to evade U.S. missile defenses, and although Beijing insisted it was testing a reusable space vehicle, not a missile, the test appeared to have startled U.S. officials.

Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the test was “very close” to being a Sputnik moment, akin to the 1957 launching by the Soviet Union of the world's first space satellite, which caught the world by surprise and fed fears the United States had fallen behind technologically. What followed was a nuclear arms and space race that ultimately bankrupted the Soviet Union.

Milley and other U.S. officials have declined to discuss details of the Chinese test, saying they are secret. He called it “very concerning” for the United States but added that problems posed by China's military modernization run far deeper.

“That’s just one weapon system,” he said in a Bloomberg Television interview. "The Chinese military capabilities are much greater than that. They’re expanding rapidly in space, in cyber and then in the traditional domains of land, sea and air.”

On the nuclear front, private satellite imagery in recent months has revealed large additions of launch silos that suggest the possibility that China plans to increase its fleet of land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles, or ICBMs.

Hans Kristensen, a nuclear weapons expert at the Federation of American Scientists, says China appears to have about 250 ICBM silos under construction, which he says is more than 10 times the number in operation today. The U.S. military, by comparison, has 400 active ICBM silos and 50 in reserve.

Jailed rabbi Berland arrested in connection with murders linked to Hasidic cult

Convicted sex offender currently serving time for fraud; he is detained in prison over alleged link to decades-old murder of man and suspected murder of missing teen

Jailed sex offender Rabbi Eliezer Berland was arrested Monday in connection with decades-old homicide cases linked to his extremist ultra-Orthodox sect, according to multiple Hebrew-language reports.

Berland entered prison last week after he was convicted of fraud in June, in a plea deal that saw him sentenced to 18 months.

He was arrested and questioned at the Nitzan Prison in Ramle.

His wife, Tehillah Berland, was later also detained by police for questioning in Jerusalem.

The rabbi, who has not been formally identified by authorities as the individual arrested on Monday, becomes the 11th person detained recently over the suspected murder of a teenage boy and the unsolved murder of a man in the 1980s and 1990s.

Most details of the investigation are under a gag order that is in place until the end of the year.

The investigation into the disappearance and suspected murder of 17-year-old Nissim Shitrit and the murder of 41-year-old Avi Edri is tied to the Shuvu Bonim sect, run by Berland.

One of those arrested earlier this month was the husband of a woman who has told police she was forced by sect members to lure one of the victims to a specific location. An attorney for the woman has said that her client was a victim of the extremist sect, and is cooperating with police in order to see justice done.

Another suspect is reportedly the son of a former senior government minister.

Police have previously said that some of those arrested were questioned over allegations of kidnapping, murder, and conspiracy to commit a crime. Not all are suspected of direct involvement in the killings.

Shitrit was allegedly beaten by the sect’s “religious police” four months before he was last seen in January 1986. In a documentary released by Kan in 2020, one of Berland’s former disciples said that the religious police murdered the boy, dismembered him and buried his body in Eshtaol Forest near Beit Shemesh. His remains were never found and the case was never solved.

Edri was found beaten to death in Ramot Forest in the north of Jerusalem in 1990.

The cult-like Shuvu Bonim offshoot of the Bratslav Hasidic sect has had repeated run-ins with the law, including attacking witnesses.

Biden apologizes for US withdrawing from Paris deal under Trump

President Biden on Monday apologized for the Trump administration’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate accord, saying doing so set the world back in the fight against climate change.

“I guess I shouldn’t apologize, but I do apologize for the fact the United States in the last administration pulled out of the Paris accords and put us sort of behind the eight ball a little bit,” Biden said during a session on “action and solidarity” at the United Nations climate conference in Glasgow.

Biden, who rejoined the Paris climate deal upon taking office in January, said that the U.S. was committed to meeting its goals to lower greenhouse gas emissions as he pleaded with other major economies to do their part.

“The United States, if I have anything to do with it, will do our part,” Biden said. “Our success in my view hinges on our collective commitment to ramping up our momentum and strengthening our climate ambition.”

Biden sought to assure other global leaders of the U.S. commitment to combatting climate change during his appearance at the conference. Biden is trying to rally the global community to take more aggressive actions, describing the next decade as critical in combating climate change.

“There’s no more time to hang back or sit on the fence or argue amongst ourselves,” Biden said in earlier remarks at the summit on Monday. “This is the challenge of our collective lifetimes. The existential threat to human existence as we know it."

But the president has nevertheless faced questions on the world stage given the potential for U.S. administrations to change every four years. Former President Trump, who repeatedly minimized the threat from climate change during his term, has also teased a presidential run in 2024, though he has not formally announced any plans.

Trump announced plans to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement during his first year in office and the process was formally completed in November 2020.

John Thornton has ties to Chinese propaganda group, Belt and Road projects

The namesake of the Brookings Institution's China Center chairs a company that facilitates investments in China's global infrastructure initiative and has served on the board of an alleged Chinese propaganda agency, facts that were not disclosed in Brookings literature on those topics.

John L. Thornton, the chairman emeritus of the Brookings board of trustees, has served since 2016 as chairman of the Silk Road Finance Corporation, a Communist Party-backed fund that develops projects for the Belt and Road Initiative, which the U.S. government considers a national security threat. He is on the board of China's Confucius Institutes, which Beijing allegedly uses to advance propaganda in American schools. Scholars at Brookings's John L. Thornton China Center have defended "Belt and Road" and Confucius Institutes without disclosing that Thornton serves on organizations that support the initiatives.

Brookings and other prominent think tanks in recent years have come under intense scrutiny amid concerns that they serve as shadow lobbying organizations for their corporate and foreign government donors. The Chinese government's partnerships with think tanks have especially drawn scrutiny because of Beijing's intense foreign propaganda efforts. The Washington Free Beacon reported that Brookings partnered with Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, which the FBI has investigated for spy activity. Brookings and the academy have hosted multiple forums in recent years to encourage Belt and Road projects in the Middle East.

Thornton, a former president of Goldman Sachs, has since 2004 given at least $16 million to Brookings, including $5 million to form the China Center, according to Brookings's annual reports.

Thornton's perch at Brookings and his ties to Wall Street have given him extensive access to Chinese government officials. He reportedly spent six weeks this summer meeting officials in Beijing and Xinjiang as part of unofficial backchannel diplomatic talks. Thornton reportedly consulted with the White House before he made the trip, suggesting that he had some approval from the Biden administration.

Thornton, who in 2008 was awarded China's friendship medal, in 2018 formed a consortium of Wall Street bankers to maintain dialogue with their Chinese counterparts amid escalating tensions between Washington and Beijing. Wall Street sees China as an untapped investment opportunity, while critics fear that investments in China will create national security risks and make companies beholden to the authoritarian Chinese government.

A leading transparency watchdog group says think tanks like Brookings are vulnerable to foreign overtures because of their ability to influence public policy. At least 17 Brookings scholars have joined the Biden administration. Former Brookings China fellow Rush Doshi serves as director of the National Security Council's China portfolio.

"The more prestigious you are, that means you're more of an attractive target for an international player like China, Saudi Arabia," said Dylan Hedtler-Gaudette, the government affairs manager at the Project on Government Oversight, a nonpartisan watchdog group. "The more well known you are, the more well-connected you are, the more prestigious you are, as a think tank, the more you're likely going to have these overtures and entanglements."

One intelligence analyst says that Thornton's recent visit to China, during which he met with Chinese vice premier Han Zheng, undercut U.S. policy and aided China's propaganda efforts.

McAuliffe, Youngkin camps prepare to challenge results of too-close-to-call Virginia governor race

Youngkin dismissed McAuliffe campaign lawyering up for close outcome, saying, "This is going to be an overwhelming victory"

GOP gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin is slamming his opponent, former Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, over his campaign's hiring of Marc Elias, a Clinton-affiliated lawyer who has worked on election challenges in the past.

"This is right out of his playbook. I mean, he wrote it, and this is what a failing politician does when they see the sun setting on their 43-year political career," Youngkin said over the weekend on Fox News.

"The Virginia voters are absolutely making a bold statement and this is not going to be a close election, you can just see us pulling away," he added, referring to a recent Fox News poll showing him leading by 8 points.

"This is going to be a big statement and a lawyer here and there that my opponent hires is not going to make a difference because this is going to be an overwhelming victory," he said.

But Virginia Republicans are beefing up their legal team in advance of Election Day in the event of a close race.

"I think if there is even the faintest discernment that anything improper has occurred, that there are irregularities. I can tell you that Republicans are in a fighting mood," said Virginia GOP Chairman Rich Anderson, according to the Washington Times. "The Youngkin Team said they expect this is going to be a fair election, but if they discern that it’s not, they’re not going to roll over and play dead if they discern any wrongdoing is taking place."

A number of changes were made to absentee ballot voting in Virginia during the coronavirus pandemic. Virginia Democrats eliminated the requirement to provide an excuse to obtain an absentee ballot by mail or to vote early in-person.

The Public Interest Legal Foundation, a conservative non-profit, had filed a lawsuit last month alleging that Fairfax County had accepted absentee ballot requests from voters that did not contain the last four digits of their Social Security number, as required by law.

A judge ruled that the organization "did not have standing in its lawsuit."

The witness requirement for absentee ballots sent in by mail was waived last election cycle due to the pandemic but it is currently being enforced. The Fairfax County board of supervisors asked Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam to suspend the witness signature requirement for the 2021 election but the requirement is still in effect.

"If the witness signature is missing on an absentee ballot, the voter will be notified within three days after its receipt," The Washington Post reported. "The voter will then have until noon on Nov. 5 to resubmit a corrected ballot in order for it to be counted."

Burials up 15%, cremations up 10% in 2021 compared to 2020 when there were no covid “vaccines”

Rittenhouse Defense Team Implodes Hours Before Jury Selection

Mere hours before jury selection began in the self-defense trial of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin, a key defense attorney who put together a “dream team” of jury selection experts announced he was off the case. Robert Barnes says the change in the defense team means someone is “deliberately sabotaging Kyle’s defense.”

Kyle Rittenhouse is the 17-year-old who shot three people, two of whom died, at the Kenosha riots in August of 2020. He claims the shootings were in self-defense.

After eight months of affiliation with the Rittenhouse case, Barnes, a nationally acclaimed defense attorney, said lead attorney Mark Richards won’t share jury information or allow any of Barnes’s 20-person team of experts into the courtroom to observe the jury selection.

Barnes says he was promised that he and his team would be involved in the actual jury selection. The team includes Barnes’s hand-picked “multiple body language people, multiple data people” and jury selection experts.

Barnes alluded to trouble on the defense team during an interview earlier in the week but confirmed in a Sunday night livestream that he is now officially off the team.

On Tuesday I’m told – I’m in Kenosha, a bunch of other people are in Kenosha, people are on their way to Kenosha that the local attorney, Mark Richards, not only won’t share the information we need to aid in jury selection, but won’t even allow anybody even in the courtroom to assist with jury selection. Won’t even allow it. There was no requirement that he take any of the advice being given, but he won’t even allow the advice to be given or the information to be provided.

And there was plenty of information.

I extensively polled Kenosha out of my own pocket, so we knew which questions to ask, which information to look for, provided that – there was about 17 key data points. I have no idea whether he’ll use any of it.

Experienced use-of-force experts believe this is a clear-cut case of self-defense. But Barnes says there’s a major PR battle being waged outside the courtroom which could change everything. Barnes says his polling found that 2/3 of the people in Kenosha think Rittenhouse is guilty of the six major charges against him. He’s worried about the tainted jury pool that could railroad the case, as happened in the hyper-political Chauvin trial in Minneapolis.

The Rittenhouse trial begins tomorrow with jury selection, which is what Barnes was to be involved in.

Let’s hope his key attorney knows what he’s doing.

Young’s appointment has left Queensland without a Chief Health Officer. Infectious diseases clinician Krispin Hajkowicz was set to replace Young, but pulled out at the last minute for personal reasons. In the meantime, Dr Aitken has filled the position as acting Chief Health Officer until a replacement can be found.
