Kentucky Man Challenges Federal Mask Mandate and Then Immediately Gets Placed on Terrorist Watch List and Harassed When Flying

A Kentucky man who challenged the federal mask mandate was immediately placed on the Terrorist Watch List.

One of the people challenging the legality of the federal mask mandate is Michael Faris, and he’s filed a motion with the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals seeking to be removed from a government terrorism watchlist he was placed on after seeking to litigate the mask requirement.

He filed his suite against the mask rule on October 19. He claims that he should be considered medically exempt from the mask requirement, which the federal regulation allows for, but that he hasn’t been able to obtain such an exemption from any airline.

On October 21 he couldn’t check in for his flight home from Southern California to Kentucky on United Airlines. He was eventually issued an ‘SSSS’ boarding pass. “Agents told Faris this meant he had likely be placed on a terrorist watchlist.”

“TSA’s action placing Mr. Faris … on its terrorist watchlist for filing this lawsuit challenging the FTMM represents the absolute worst form of vengeance against citizens exercising our First Amendment right to petition the government for a redress of grievances,” according to the court filing. “Suing TSA does not constitute a threat of terrorism nor any other risk to transportation security that warrants placement on the watchlist.”

Another publication described Faris’s ordeal when he attempted to fly.

Michael Faris, a helicopter maintenance supervisor, is trying to fly home today to Elizabethtown, Kentucky, from a work assignment near Ontario, California. When he tried to check in on the United Airlines mobile app, he received a message that his “reservation requires special handling. Please check in at an airport kiosk.”

When he used a United kiosk at Ontario airport, it displayed a message to “Please collect the printed document and see a United representative for further assistance.”

It took United agents a long time on the phone to check Faris in, during which a TSA officer responded to the counter. He was then escorted to the security checkpoint, where she showed his mask-exemption letter from his physician. TSA officer Steven Pointer and supervisor Ramona Baker reluctantly allowed Faris into the screening area without a face covering.

TSA then put him through a lengthy process known as “Secondary Security Screening Selectee,” noted on his boarding pass by the code “SSSS.” During the extended search, he was patted down for more than five minutes and every item was removed from his carry-on bag. TSA officers even swabbed inside his wallet.

Judge In Virginia Dismisses Case – Allows Fairfax County to Include Absentee and Mail-In Ballots in Governor Election that Violate the Law

We reported previously that Virginia was not requiring the last 4 digits of social security numbers on absentee ballots. This is in direct violation of the law.

This comes from the same county that had over 300,000 ballots dropped for Joe Biden on election night while only 30,000 dropped for Trump – Three times!

So a voter group, not the Republican Party, sued to prevent these ballots from being used in the election – they are not legal. And the judge dismisses the case.

A Virginia judge has dismissed a lawsuit claiming that Virginia’s most populous county improperly accepted applications for absentee ballots.

A lawsuit filed last week by the Virginia Institute for Public Policy said the Fairfax County Office of Elections accepted applications for absentee and mail-in ballots without the last four digits of applicants’ Social Security numbers in violation of Virginia law.

The Fairfax County Office of Elections argued that Virginia law stipulates that such a challenge can only be brought by an “aggrieved voter,” the candidate for office, the candidate’s campaign, or the chairman of the candidate’s political party.

Judge Michael Devine on Friday found that the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, as a nonprofit organization, lacked the standing to sue.

A statement from the Public Interest Legal Foundation , which represented the Virginia Institute for Public Policy, said the lawsuit was an “important deterrent for the other Virginia counties to abide by the law.”

China Sparks "Panic Buying" After Telling Households To Stockpile Food Ahead Of Winter

Central planners are at it again. In September, China ordered the country's top state-owned energy companies to secure supplies for this winter at "all costs." Now they're telling households to stockpile food ahead of winter, sparking wild conspiracies among netizens about heightening tensions with Taiwan.

According to Bloomberg, the Ministry of Commerce told households Monday to stock up on food in case of emergencies after a resurgence of the virus pandemic, heavy rains that sparked vegetable prices to jump, and the onset of colder weather.

The commerce ministry directive is similar to the one released ahead of the holidays at the start of October, which told local governments to secure food supplies. The order comes as a coronavirus outbreak prompted fresh lockdowns.

The directive was released on the government's Weibo account, a similar platform to Twitter, stated: "Ministry of Commerce encourages households to stockpile daily necessities as needed." It had more than 17 million views as of Tuesday. Some netizens were concerned that an impending invasion of Taiwan was the reason for the stockpiling directive.

"As soon as this news came out, all the old people near me went crazy panic buying in the supermarket," wrote one Weibo user.

The Economic Daily, a Communist Party-backed newspaper, told netizens not to have "too much of an overactive imagination," adding that the directive's purpose was to make sure citizens could feed their families in case of a lockdown.

The weather has been a significant concern in China. China Meteorological Administration (CMA) warned last month of a La Nina weather pattern which has already brought in the first round of cooler weather.

Archbishop of Canterbury apologises to Jews after comparing climate change to Nazi genocide

The Archbishop of Canterbury has apologized after warning world leaders that failure to agree on a climate change deal could cause a worse “genocide” than that committed by the Nazis. Such comparisons are “never right,” he said.

“I unequivocally apologise for the words I used,” Justin Welby wrote on Twitter. “It’s never right to make comparisons with the atrocities brought by the Nazis, and I’m sorry for the offence caused to Jews by these words,” said the Church of England’s most senior bishop, whose father was born Jewish.

The Archbishop made the controversial remarks in an interview with the BBC on the sidelines of the UN’s COP26 climate summit in Glasgow on Monday. He apparently realised he had gone too far in pushing for a climate change deal, as he sought to make amends before the broadcaster could even air the clip.

The timely move worked and allowed the Archbishop to soften the backlash on social media. Even the editor of the Jewish Chronicle paper, Stephen Pollard, who had claimed that the Archbishop’s comments were “so sickening that I simply cannot comprehend how Welby can remain as a priest,” eventually wrote that it was “a proper apology, not mealy mouthed.”

Other commenters pointed out that, while the cleric’s choice of words may have been inappropriate, his desire to tackle climate change deserved praise.

During his initial conversation with the BBC, Welby insisted that current world leaders will end up being “cursed” if they fail to work out a plan to deal quickly with global warming. Future generations are going to speak of them “in far stronger terms than we speak today of the politicians of the ‘30s, of the politicians who ignored what was happening in Nazi Germany,” he added.

If left unchecked, climate change “will kill people all around the world for generations” and “allow a genocide on an infinitely greater scale” because humanity will by then have no means left to cope with it, the Archbishop warned.

“I’m not sure there’s grades of genocide, but there’s width of genocide,” he added, pointing out that it was going to be an “indirect” genocide caused by “negligence, recklessness.”

Chinese tech giant applies for ‘meta’ trademark right after Facebook changes name

China’s answer to Google may have stolen a long march on Facebook. Soon after Mark Zuckerberg announced his umbrella company would be changing its name to Meta, the Beijing-based Baidu applied for a ‘MetaApp’ trademark.

Zuckerberg famously announced last Thursday that he was changing the name of his company – which owns Facebook, Instagram and WhatApp, among other platforms – to Meta, saying it better fits his vision of “embodied internet.”

While Americans memed and mocked the name change, Baidu Online Network Technology Company filed a trademark application for “MetaApp” with the Chinese authorities, the state news agency Xinhua reported on Tuesday, citing results of a search on the data platform Tianyan. Baidu’s trademark classification says it “involves website services and scientific instruments.”

The Beijing-based company operates the second-largest search engine in the world – after Google – as well as cloud services, news, music, advertising, augmented reality and even a digital assistant service. However, it may have been too late to the “meta” game, as there is already a Chinese company called MetaApp – a sandbox developer also based in Beijing, specializing in mobile games for Google’s Android operating system.

Meanwhile, Microsoft has announced it would launch its own “metaverse” in 2022, in which corporate users could share Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations in the kinds of virtual environments Zuckeberg gushed about in his video keynote.

California judge says ‘no evidence’ Big Pharma at fault for America’s opioid epidemic

In a historic victory for drug makers, a California judge said local governments have failed to prove their claim that aggressive and misleading marketing ploys by manufacturers gave rise to the US opioid crisis.

In a tentative ruling released on Monday, Orange County Superior Court Judge Peter Wilson argued that the city of Oakland, as well as Los Angeles, Orange and Santa Clara counties, came up short of proving that drug manufacturers should be held responsible for America’s opioid epidemic.

Following a trial that was conducted entirely via Zoom, Wilson stated that even if “allegedly false or misleading marketing and promotion” had been at play, there was “no evidence supporting a causal connection between the alleged conduct and adverse downstream consequences flowing from medical inappropriate prescriptions.”

Having combed through promotional and training materials distributed by a number of major pharmaceutical giants including units of Johnson & Johnson, Endo International, Allergan and Teva Pharmaceuticals, Wilson found that, contrary to the plaintiffs’ claims, none of the materials contain any misleading or false information. In one instance, Wilson argued that the assertion by a drugmaker that there was “no ceiling dose” when it comes to a prescription opioid was a “medically accurate statement,” which should not be interpreted as a recommendation to up the dosage “indefinitely.”

There is simply no evidence to show that the rise in prescriptions was not the result of the medically appropriate provision of pain medications to patients in need.

The ruling, which reportedly marks the first time a judge has sided with a former opioid drug maker in a trial, was welcomed by Big Pharma. Johnson & Johnson said the ruling reaffirmed that its advertising strategy was “appropriate and responsible,” while Endo commended the judge for proving that it made no false or misleading statements.

Police say father hunted down and brutally killed man who allegedly sold his daughter into sex slavery. Social media users are calling him a 'hero.'

Commenters on social media are calling a Washington state father a "hero" in response to reports that he allegedly rescued his daughter from sex traffickers and later killed the man he believed responsible for selling his daughter into sex slavery.

What happened?

In a press release issued on Monday, the Spokane Police Department said that it had discovered the remains of a 19-year-old male — whom they believe to be the former boyfriend of 60-year-old John Eisenman's daughter — stuffed in the trunk of an abandoned vehicle.

Describing the incident as a "complex case," police reported that Eisenman had set off to avenge his daughter after learning that she had been sold into a Seattle-area prostitution ring in October 2020, by her then-boyfriend, the deceased.

The 19-year-old male was identified by KXLY-TV as Andrew Sorenson.

Eisenman, who has no prior violent criminal history, has been charged with first-degree murder and is being held on a $1 million bond.

According to police, the father rescued his daughter from the ring in October 2020 before later obtaining information indicating that Sorenson was the one who sold her to the traffickers.

Armed with that information, sometime in November 2020, police say Eisenman confronted Sorenson after learning that he would be at a certain location, tying him up, and placing him in the trunk of his vehicle. He subsequently hit Sorenson in the head multiple times with a cinder block and stabbed him repeatedly, resulting in his death.

Following the fatal assault, Eisenman allegedly "drove the vehicle to a remote area in North Spokane County and abandoned the car with the body still inside." Roughly a year later, Sorenson's remains were discovered.

What has been the reaction?

Several users responded to the police department's news release on Facebook by commending the father's actions and arguing his crime was justified.

"I hope this guy gets the best attorney possible and gets time served," one user wrote.

Another person suggested, "Any good father would have done the same."

"If this is true and he got his daughter back, he is a hero," wrote one commenter while another added, "I bet he happily sits in prison. Not all heroes wear capes."

Still another said, "Sounds like Justice was served to me. Hope he gets a good lawyer and does not have to serve any time."

"Sounds like there is no crime committed here from the father," said one person.

"Bless that father and his family. Praying for his daughter's lifelong recovery," added another.

A GoFundMe account set up Monday to raise funds to cover Eisenman's bond and legal fees has already amassed thousands of dollars in donations.

As UN Claims 6% of his Fortune Could End Hunger, Elon Musk Calls Out UN Child Sex Trafficking

With Tesla Inc’s latest rally in the stock market, Elon Musk’s wealth has skyrocketed to a new milestone. His massive $335.1 billion fortune now eclipses that of Warren Buffett — three times over. Even before the massive surge in the stock market on Monday, as his wealth approached $300 billion on Sunday, the establishment media began calling for Elon to offer up some of that cash money.

David Beasley, the director of the UN’s World Food Program, who said billionaires need to “step up now” — worked in concert with CNN misinformation — and put out an article demanding $6 billion from Musk to end world hunger.

“Six billion dollars to help 42 million people that are literally going to die if we don’t reach them. It’s not complicated,” he said.

Little did Beasley and CNN know, but Musk was about to call their bluff, and shortly after Beasley’s tweet, Musk offered up the $6 billion.

Musk tweeted that if the UN program can “describe on this Twitter thread exactly how $6B will solve world hunger, I will sell Tesla stock right now and do it.” He called on transparent and open accounting. But CNN’s headline was not transparent from the beginning and caused confusion out of the gate.

Once Beasley saw the false CNN headline, he was forced to correct it, and CNN was forced to issue an update. However. he still asked for a meeting with Elon.

As Beasley and Musk went back and forth on Twitter, many folks chimed in and pointed out how the UN programs may have good intentions but are rife with waste and corruption. Even Musk chimed in with an article from 2015 which exposed an utterly horrifying practice by supposed UN “peacekeepers.”
