Biblefag here. Following up on the discrepancy between the passage Q quoted in 1 Corinthians and his mismatched citation mentioned in previous bread.

Q quoted the classic Bible definition of love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. However he cited verses 4-13, which includes the remainder of that chapter. Q ends ends his quote with "Love never fails" at the beginning of verse 8. Again, that's the quote that is commonly pulled when talking about love.

Since Q often communicates as much by what he intentionally leaves out as by what he explicitly states, let's try and look the missing verses from the NIV 1984 Bible that Q is using in context of Q's drops.

1 Corinthians 13:8-13 (NIV 1984)

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

>Even though love endures, a change is coming. Much of what we are used to seeing and the ways we have been doing things is about to change, significantly.

9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10 but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.

>Up to now, Q has been necessarily only sharing crumbs and speaking in riddles. But the time is coming when all that is being whispered to anons in the back corners of the interwebs will be common knowledge to everyone. Perhaps this board will no longer be necessary for Q when that time comes.

11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me.

>Q's been telling us for a while to brace ourselves for the onslaught that's coming our way. Just like his quote from Ephesians is telling us to armor-up, this verse tells us to man-up. It's time to grow up and stop being sucked in and distracted by the shills.

12 Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

>Right now all we have are crumbs. We just have various pieces to the puzzle. But the time is coming when we will see the entire picture clear as day. Perhaps we will come to know who Q really is, just like they already know who we are.

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

>Hope is powerful. It leads to faith, which can literally move mountains. We must hold onto hope at all costs. The /plan/ will succeed. Good will prevail over evil. Let that hope grow into faith to take action to red pill those around us. Just remember, some will choose the blue pill. Ignorance is their right. Willful stupidity can't be cured.

I could be reading too much into it. The part he quoted talks about the attitude of the heart. The rest of what he cited, but didn't quote, talks about the ultimate results that are heading our way.

Interesting. But seems thin. For one thing he only quoted part of verse 8. Plus, if he were going for that it would make more sense to quote 4-13 and only cite 4-8. He did it the other way around.
