>yet in practice it is almost never observed,
almost never is not never. D3 makes my BP go thru the roof. being fat soluble, takes 30days for my system to clear it. tried it twice, same result.
wifeanon takes 5000IU/day and she's fine. not me.
thx prof. ICYDK, i take Mg and a couple dozen other supplements daily.
so i'm gonna do the simplest and safest thing, and just avoid D3. 'zat ok with you, prof?
i actually appreciate the impulse to offer help. but instead of asking, you made assumptions, and that is what triggered me.
thx for the thought. pax, fren.
>School teachers now are very stupid communists.
speaking as someone who spent a lifetime in education, K-12 public education fell off a cliff around 1970-75. this is around the time that the dr spock mentality of child rearing took deep hold, and pedagogy of learning was pushed hard in the training of new teachers. as the older, experienced and QUALIFIED teachers retired, they were replace with the new crop of teachers who took less credits in their supposed discipline and more credits in bullshit courses like child psychology and pedagogy. at the same time, schools were being overwhelmed with lawsuits brought by parents of children who had been disciplined in school. the reaction of school boards and local gov't was to abandon discipline altogether. within one generation, HS graduates went from moderately educated and functional members of society to illiterate social misfits, and this group went on to higher education to become the people who trained future teachers. we are now three generations into the blind leading the blind, and the result is that most college graduates do not possess the basic arithmetic skills of a 5th grader from the 60s, and most have a working vocabulary of a few thousand words, no knowledge of history or geography, and ZERO critical thinking or problem solving skills. and THOSE are the people TEACHING in public schools. the movie idiocracy was NOT a warning about a dystopian future, it was a DOCUMENTARY about current conditions.
