I'm pretty sure they would have embeds in the crowd calling in hotspots. Probably set up with some type of radio frequency/GPS homing. Same idea as military painting air strike targets.
I would guess more than one camera per aircraft as well. Would only release relevant footage, otherwise they would reveal how extensive the surveillance actually is.

Figure 80%, at least, are in long haul, interested only in retirement. I was a GS at one time, and there were co-workers who would tell me how many years, days, hours, minutes, seconds they had to go. Not shitting you here. I seen't it. We're not talking a few years away, either. Decades.
Maybe 10% know what's going on, but are in impossible circumstances for one reason or another, and find it a dereliction of responsibility to give up a job, in the middle of a pandemic, no less.

The other 90% or so aren't necessarily bad people or cowards. There's just no viable option offered for protection if they speak out.
Vax situation, is similar, in a way, to me. Thinking back to the Nam years and the draft. Did being drafted have possible side effects? Yup. But people went. Why? Because if they didn't and booked to Canada, some other poor fucker would be drafted to take their place. They weren't bad people. On the contrary. Some today may feel there is a common good in the vax, looking back to the disappearance of common diseases that vaccinations have led to in the near past.
Who the fuck knows? Any path to pinpoint vax research has been so obfuscated and politicized, and comes with possible funding downsides, that it is impossible to get a consensus at this point.
