Let's break it down. Was it just politics and ego, or is there a war going on? So, you're not sure that there's a war going on? So, are war leaders always given smooth clean choices? Let's look at Hiroshima & Nagasaki as an example. Drop the bomb(s) kill 250K civillians. save 500K US Lives and perhaps millinos of Japanese lives (granted a debated argument and one we'll never know).
So, NO Warp Speed: Shutdown the economy enitrely for 5 years while they develop HIV in a syringe in an FDA approved form. Suicide(s), chaos, starvation etc. Followed up by "legally" mandated vaxx for everyone…..HIV all over again.
Warp Speed: Not a mandatory vax. Economy keeps booming, people have hope and enough wiggle room to keep the fight alive. Maybe enough of our brightest will survive to reverse or cancel the effects of said delitorious vax; but we have a chance vs. after a 5 year house arrest.
So, does it suck? Yes.
