I am really surprised by the misleading information in your email.

You told people the CDC approved the Pfizer vaccine for children. However, it's the FDA’s responsibility to approve vaccines, not the CDC’s responsibility.

As well, just to clarify, the FDA granted Emergency Use Authorization (EUA), which is a far cry from full FDA-approval. You can watch the decision on the FDA’s YouTube channel here to confirm EUA status was extended, not full approval.

Please issue an immediate correction to this error so that parents are not confused about the approval status of this shot. Also, please consider adding proper informed consent about this shot so parents understand the known and unknown risks.
