So you believe that there was a world wide flood?
That was really my only point.
Whether it's the story of Noah of Gilgamesh, what does it matter?
There are many flood stories from many different cultures. That, to me, is more proof that the story of a world wide flood is true. How did a bunch of different cultures who didn't know each other all come up with the same similar story?
If there was a world wide flood, there was a world wide flood.
Yet these people who believe in the sea water rising due to man made climate change, are the same people who poo-poo the idea of a global flood being possible.
I think they don't like the idea of a world wide flood because the story is in the Bible and they don't like the Bible.
If the story wasn't in the Bible, then they would probably love the story.
And Noah wasn't Jewish. Jewish people weren't a nationality until Abraham, who was a descendant of Shem, one of Noah's sons. The genealogy is recorded in Genesis.
So the descendants of Ham and Japheth were not Jewish (Israelites) they were "pagans"
