CDC Director Refuses To Tell Senators How Many CDC Employees Are Fully-Vaxx'd

The director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday declined to share with a Senate panel how many of the agency’s workers have gotten a COVID-19 vaccine.

The agency, or the CDC, has been at the forefront of pushing COVID-19 vaccination during the pandemic since the first vaccine received emergency authorization late last year.

“What percent of CDC employees are vaccinated?” Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.) asked Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the CDC’s head, during a Senate Health Committee hearing in Washington.

“We’re actively encouraging vaccination in all of our employees and doing outreach in order to get our agency vaccinated,” Walensky responded.

Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), the top Republican on the panel, revisited the topic just before the hearing ended.

“Do you really not know the answer to the number of vaccinated individuals at CDC or did you just not want to answer Sen. Cassidy’s question?” Burr wondered.

Walensky declined to answer directly.

“We’re still actively working on collecting those data and those data are updated in real-time,” she said.

Burr asked for the numbers to be sent to the committee by Nov. 8.

“We are working toward updating that data. I would have to speak with my staff about where we are and whether those numbers are going to be available on Monday,” Walensky said.

Burr noted that one of President Joe Biden’s executive orders mandates all federal employees, including CDC workers, must produce proof of vaccination by Nov. 8 or face disciplinary action.

“If the collection is still in process, how are you going to start disciplinary actions based upon the executive order?” Burr asked.

“We’re actively updating those data. I just don’t know exactly when they will be fully in, but certainly we will have those data by the appropriate deadline,” Walensky said.

Palaszczuk government attempts to ‘censor’ political rivals with social media giants

Digital Editor Jack Houghton says the Palaszczuk government “embarrassed itself yet again” by attempting to censor political rivals critical of the state’s COVID-19 messaging.

The state’s Health Minister Yvette D’Ath wrote to Twitter, asking them to ban Opposition Frontbencher Jarrod Bleijie from the platform for his tweets.

Ms D’Ath described the tweets as: “Undermining not only public confidence in the vaccine, but the Queensland Government’s rollout of the vaccine, which could ultimately lead to vaccine hesitancy and harm to Queenslanders”.

According to Mr Houghton, her bid “thankfully” failed.

“But this is a crazy move from an administration which tweeted anti AstraZeneca misinformation in the heat of the pandemic,” he said.

“In fact, Annastacia Palaszczuk herself spread vaccine hesitancy on social media by falsely claiming that the AstraZeneca vaccine was not safe for those under the age of 40.

“Her government completely botched vaccine messaging and they are now trying to say that criticisms of Palaszczuk’s false information tweets are the real fake news.

“This is something Queenslanders must not forget.”

100,450,000 People Not in Labor Force – No Job and Not Even Looking

The October jobs report that came out on Friday isn’t as good as Joe Biden claims it is.

Biden on Friday falsely claimed his economic recovery is “faster” and “stronger” than “anyone could have predicted.”

He also absurdly claimed “wages are up.”

The labor participation rate has not budged since last year.

Joe Biden is not creating any new jobs.

For the 14th straight month, more than 100 million people are not in the labor force.

CNS News reported:

The Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Friday that 100,450,000 people in this country were not in the labor force in October, up 38,000 from the 100,412,000 in September.

This is the 14th straight month that this “not in the labor force” number has remained above 100,000,000.

Persons who are neither employed nor unemployed are not in the labor force. This category includes retired persons, students, those taking care of children or other family members, and others who are neither working nor seeking work.

Among those not in the labor force in October, 1.3 million persons said they were prevented from looking for work due to the pandemic. This measure is down from 1.6 million in September.

The number of people not in the labor force reached a record high of 103,418,000 in April 2020, as the pandemic took hold; and the highest it’s been under President Joe Biden is 100,708,000 this past February.

Speakers rocked the house, demanding action from Attorney General Brnovich and preparing to dominate the 2022 midterms.

Bobb: I think he better. I think he’s probably going to be nervous. You know, he’s demonstrated that he’s got some concerns and he’s not the hard charger that a lot of the people in Arizona want to see, but I do think he will ultimately do it. I think he knows he needs to it and I think the media is not letting him out the way that I think he probably hoped that he could get an out and just move on with something else. But the elections this week with Virginia and New Jersey, we see the importance of enforcing laws. Virginia took the time to ensure that they had their poll workers and they had everything in place, and New Jersey did not. Of course, we’re seeing the mess with that so watching all of that I think Attorney General Brnovich, I think he will step up. I think he’ll produce something. I don’t know if it’ll be a home run, but I do think something will come out of it.

Conradson: So you’ve been traveling all across the nation covering just about every single audit. Out here in Arizona, we know our election was stolen. What is the general consensus in other states? Do people know that their election was stolen?

Bobb: I think so. I think people are starting to come around to it. You know what’s funny? What I think the biggest help or indicator is to get to change people’s minds is not even so much the audits. I think it’s Joe Biden’s performance. I think the nation is watching Joe Biden going he’s not legitimate. There’s no way he’s legitimate. So, I think the longer he’s in office and the more there’s questions of whether he pooped his pants in Rome or you know, whatever crazy thing he did, did he fall asleep on the Israeli Prime Minister, you know, all of that. I think it’s just proving the point that he is not the most popular president in American history and he didn’t win the election.

Conradson: That’s right. So, what state do you think will be the first decertify?

If Kavanaugh And Barrett Betray Pro-Lifers, We Must Blow Up The Conservative Legal Movement

If we don't have justices who are comfortable overturning outrageously unconstitutional abortion rulings, it will be proof of the conservative legal movement's utter failure.

Less than a handful of years after their hard-won elevation to the Supreme Court, Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett are sending a chill down the spines of conservatives with a string of bad signals from their seats on the court.

In July, Kavanaugh and Barrett joined the court’s leftist majority in declining to hear Arlene’s Flowers v. Washington, a critical religious liberty case. They again sided with the court’s left in a similar decision to turn away a religious exemption challenge to Maine’s vaccine mandate — which Justices Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas took pains to note was staggering in its hypocrisy.

“A State may not assume ‘the best of individuals engaged in their secular lives while assuming ‘the worst’ about the habits of religious persons,” the trio wrote.

Just this week, Barrett and Kavanaugh embraced a theory of judicial supremacy out of step with a more conservative tradition when they both appeared openly skeptical of the construction of the Texas abortion law, which bans the practice after six weeks of pregnancy.

All of this should make the guts of conservatives churn in the leadup to next month’s oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health, the biggest abortion case the court has heard in decades. I’ve written about the importance of this case before:

While abortion cases post-Roe have tricked up to the Supreme Court on rare occasions, none have presented the clear and fundamental question that Dobbs now brings: whether or not bans on pre-viability elective abortions violate the Constitution.

In ruling on this case, the Court will have the opportunity to overturn both Roe and Casey, which together form the architecture for a constitutional entilement to abortion.

It is not an understatement to say this is the case pro-life conservatives have been waiting for. It’s why many in our movement willingly shed blood in the vicious fight for the confirmations of Kavanaugh, Barrett, and Gorsuch. The prospect of a majority conservative court was a key reason millions of Republicans turned out to vote for Donald Trump.

So the trepidation conservatives now feel about where Kavanaugh and Barrett may end up on Dobbs is both unexpected and unwelcome. There is a distinct possibility that Barrett, Kavanaugh, and possibly the George W. Bush-appointed Chief Justice John Roberts will find a way to hedge; to “both sides” their way into a narrow and distorted opinion in a case that, as Mississippi’s Attorney General Lynn Fitch has laid out, demands a clear imperative with regard to the dubious constitutional standing of Roe and Casey.
