California Governor Out Of Public Sight Since Vaccine Booster Shot 11 Days Ago

The governor’s office released a surprising announcement on Oct. 29 canceling Newsom’s plans to attend the United Nations climate summit in Scotland to deal with unspecific family obligations.

The governor’s spokesperson said on Oct. 29 that Newsom planned to participate in the climate conference virtually, but a delegation schedule released later did not feature any virtual events with Newsom.

Newsom spokesperson Erin Mellon said on Thursday the governor will participate virtually in “a couple” of the climate summit events next week. The office did not respond to questions on Friday about what the governor has been doing this week.

“The governor will participate in a couple events next week focused on global efforts to advance zero emission vehicles and to move beyond oil,” Mellon said Thursday.

The governor was last seen receiving a Moderna CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus booster shot on Oct. 27.

The governor’s booster was a mix-and-match with the original regimen, which was a Johnson & Johnson (J&J) shot.

“I am choosing not to do J&J today not because I had any problems with J&J, in fact it went beautifully, but to make the point about the opportunity to mix and match,” Newsom said at the time.

The California governor should have appeared before TV cameras to announce the state’s CCP virus vaccination program for children aged 5 to 11. Atypically, the announcement was made via an emailed news release instead.

Newsom submitted some prerecorded remarks to a transit conference earlier this week and his office announced some appointments to state agencies and boards. He also posted a photo on his Instagram account with his wife and four children, aged 5 to 12, dressed as pirates on Halloween.

“Hope everyone had a safe, happy Halloween!!” the governor wrote in the post.

Newsom’s Twitter account was quiet from Oct. 28 until Tuesday, when he sent posts backing fellow Democratic Govs. Phil Murphy of New Jersey and Terry McAuliffe of Virginia on Election Day. As the week went on, Newsom’s Twitter account became more active.

It’s rare, but not unprecedented, for Newsom to go a whole week without some type of appearance. Such absences are usually explained, including when Newsom leaves the state for vacation.

It’s a relatively slow time in Sacramento as the state Legislature is not in session and won’t meet again until January. Recent storms mean no major wildfires are burning out of control, as has been the case in recent years.

How Media and Tech Elites Seized Control of Elections

Mollie Hemingway, an editor of the online magazine The Federalist, calls our attention in this well-researched book to a problem of vital significance. She is a supporter of Donald Trump, though not an uncritical one, and writes from this point of view, but whether you like the former president or not, you cannot ignore her message.

She begins the book with a paradox. Almost all the polls predicted a decisive win for Biden in the November 2020 presidential election, but in fact the result, setting aside altogether the allegations of rigged voting by the former president and his supporters, was very close: “The political class, the corporate media, and their pollsters were all dramatically wrong, and yet Biden would eke out a presidential victory of just under 43,000 votes across three states, out of a total of nearly 160 million.”(p.36. All page references are to the Amazon Kindle edition.) Why were the polls so inaccurate?

One answer would be mistakes in the way in polls were conducted, but Hemingway sees something more sinister in the errors. The inaccurate polls were part of a massive campaign by the government and corporate elite to ensure Trump’s defeat in the election. This campaign continued the efforts by the same elite to secure his defeat in the 2016 election; and, when those efforts failed, to derail his presidency.

Hemingway stresses especially one tactic used in both the 2016 and 2020 elections. In previous elections, most voting took place on the appointed day in November, and although some people cast absentee ballots, these were of minor importance. No longer is this the case, and voting by mail now predominates. “’No excuse’ absentee voting allows citizens to cast their ballots early. With the widespread adoption of this practice in recent years, the United States can no longer be said to have an election day in the strict sense of the term. The country has a months-long voting season. . .In 2016, absentee and mail-in ballots accounted for roughly 33 million of the 140 million ballots counted. In 2020, more than 100 million of the 159 million ballots counted were cast prior to Election Day, including by early voting.” (p.222) This is of great significance, Hemingway says, because fraud is much easier with this sort of voting: it is much harder to verify signatures and voters’ addresses.

If voting fraud is to be stopped, this requires vigilant election officials, and here is where the mass media elites enter the scene. Far from aiding in efforts to interdict fraud, the elites promote it through subventions to interested parties. Hemingway highlights the role of Mark Zuckerberg, who made large donations to private groups that acted in a partisan way to “help” election officials. “That’s to say nothing of the widespread privatization of election systems in key districts thanks to the efforts of leftist outfits funded by Mark Zuckerberg and other billionaires. Multi-million dollars grants to public election commissions, and the strings attached to them, were the means by which the left’s sprawling voting activist arm took over huge parts of the 2020 election. . .This private interference in the running of a national election had never before happened in the history of the country.” (p.xiii)

These efforts to bias election results go hand-in-hand with the attempt by the same elites to control information that reaches the public. The media giants, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google, relentlessly promoted items unfavorable to Trump and suppressed stories that could have helped him. As an example, damaging news about Hunter Biden and his corrupt dealing with Chinese officials that emerged in the final days of the campaign and was published in the New York Post was banned from Twitter. “Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey would eventually tell Congress and censoring the New York Post and locking it out of its Twitter account was a ‘mistake.’” (p.36)

Hemingway’s focus is on the presidential campaign, but the censorship by the statist-corporative elite extends even further. Facebook and YouTube ban videos that criticize Covid-19 vaccinations and advance points of view that the proprietors of the platforms deem “misinformation.”

Bill Gates: "Germ Games" Needed To Prepare For Bioterrorist Attacks

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Tuesday warned that international authorities, including the World Health Organization, need to take action against the threat posed by bioterrorism and said “germ games” is the best way to prevent it.

“It’ll take probably about a billion a year for a pandemic Task Force at the WHO level, which is doing the surveillance and actually doing what I call ‘germ games’ where you practice,” Gates during an interview with the chair of the Health Select Committee, Jeremy Hunt, for the think tank Policy Exchange, according to Sky News.

Germ games are when government agencies and militaries practice scenarios of a pandemic.

Gates then asked: “You say, OK, what if a bioterrorist brought smallpox to 10 airports? You know, how would the world respond to that?”

The world’s fourth-richest noted that to prepare for a doomsday scenario, the United States and United Kingdom would have to spend “tens of billions” on research and development.

“There’s naturally-caused epidemics and bioterrorism-caused epidemics that could even be way worse than what we experienced today and yet, the advances in medical science should give us tools that, you know, we could do dramatically better,” Gates also remarked.

During his interview with Hunt, Gates also said there should be a “new way” to manufacture vaccines that can stop the transmission of a virus better. That also would require global research and development, he said.

“You know, we didn’t have vaccines that block transmission. We got vaccines that help you with your health, but they only slightly reduced transmission,” he explained.

“We need a new way of doing the vaccines.”

“The nice thing is a lot of the [research and development] we need to do to be ready for the next pandemic are things like making vaccines cheap, having big factories, eradicating the flu, getting rid of the common cold, making vaccines just a little patch you put on your arm, things that will be incredibly beneficial even in the years when we don’t have pandemics,” Gates said, without elaborating how it could be accomplished.

Biden Admin Silent As EU, Iran, & China Freely Violate US Sanctions

One of the reasons behind US sanctions is to financially pressure a rogue state, such the Iranian regime, to halt its destabilizing behavior and its march towards acquiring a nuclear bomb. But if sanctions are being freely violated without any consequences, there is no incentive for a predatory and dangerous regime such as Iran to stop its malign activities.

Although the US sanctions did have a negative impact on Iran's economy when they were first re-imposed by the Trump administration in 2018, they have become far less effective as many countries ignored and violated them – all while the Biden administration has not been taking any action to deter, disincentivize or punish those who breach the sanctions.

According to the US Treasury Department, persons and entities that are neither American nor Iranian will be sanctioned if they trade with the Iranian regime. The Treasury Department has clearly warned that the Iran sanctions are not limited to just Iranian or US entities:

"Consistent with this guidance from the President, the Department of State has revoked certain statutory waivers issued to implement the JCPOA sanctions relief, issued the necessary sanctions waivers to provide for an appropriate wind-down period, and plans to take appropriate action to keep such waivers in place for the duration of the relevant wind-down period, i.e., until August 6, 2018, or November 4, 2018, depending on the activity. Non-U.S., non-Iranian persons are advised to use these time periods to wind- down their activities with or involving Iran that will become sanctionable at the end of the applicable wind-down period."

The Trump administration was holding those who violated sanctions and did business with sanctioned entities accountable. In 2018, for instance, Communist China's Meng Wanzhou, the Chief Financial Officer of Huawei, the world's largest telecom equipment maker, was arrested in Canada at the request of American authorities. Under the Biden administration, however, she was released to return to China. China's ZTE Corp pled guilty to breaking US sanctions against the Iranian regime during the Trump administration. The Trump administration sent a robust message that violating sanctions would not be tolerated. But since the Biden administration came to power, it seems that almost everyone is freely violating the US sanctions on Iran, China or wherever, and no one is being held accountable.

The Iranian regime, for its part, is finding customers to buy its oil and with whom to trade in spite of the sanctions. The sanctions therefore are not crippling the regime financially even slightly, let alone bringing it to its knees. Before the US Department of the Treasury leveled secondary sanctions against Iran's oil and gas sectors in 2018, for example, Tehran was exporting more than two million barrels of oil a day. In 2019 and 2020, Iran's oil exports went down to fewer than 200,000 barrel a day, representing a decline of roughly 90%. This shift took place after the Trump administration decided not to extend its waiver for Iran's eight biggest oil buyers; China, India, Greece, Italy, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey and South Korea.

While Appealing Conviction for Running Child Porn Ring, Police Chief Busted AGAIN Abusing Toddlers

Denmark, WI — As TFTP so often reports, blue privilege is extended to even the vilest of officers who prey on society’s most vulnerable. As pot dealers go to jail for decades, disgraced cops who abuse children often walk free and in some instances even keep their jobs. Disgraced police chief, Alexander Bebris, was one of these cops who proved that his blue privilege was just another reason to continue preying on children.

Last year, Bebris was sentenced to five years in prison in November after he was caught running a child porn ring and convicted in federal court. The 52-year-old child predator appealed the conviction and due to his status as a former public servant, he was allowed to stay out on bail until his appeal went through.

His conviction was upheld this past August, but again, his blue privilege shown through and he wasn’t immediately required to report to jail. Instead his sentence was delayed pending the appeal’s resolution and he didn’t have to report to jail until this month.

While this child predator enjoyed his freedom, however, the state quickly learned that they screwed up by letting him remain free. Just days before he was to begin serving his five-year sentence for running a child porn network, this monster was busted once more.

A search warrant was executed at Bebris’ home where law enforcement found that he went right back to his disgusting ways. According to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Eastern District of Wisconsin, authorities found “a substantial amount” of recently-downloaded child pornography.

Illustrating just how disgusting of a monster Bebris is, authorities noted that the child abuse material found in his home depicted children as young as 3-years-old.

Luckily for the residents of Denmark, Wisconsin, this time, Bebris was not granted blue privilege. Instead, he was immediately charged and he immediately pleaded guilty.

According to the release:

At sentencing for his second offense, Senior United States District Judge William C. Griesbach called Bebris’ actions “outrageous and highly offensive.” Judge Griesbach further stated that Bebris’ willingness to commit almost the exact same crime while on release indicated a “strong need for deterrence and punishment.” Judge Griesbach ordered that the 10-year sentence run consecutively to the previously imposed, 5-year sentence. Following his release from prison, Bebris will spend 10 years on supervised release.

According to court records, prior to his arrest in his first case, Bebris spent his career in law enforcement, most recently as Public Safety Chief in Oakwood, Ohio. While he preyed on children, he served as the police chief for two different cities.

For now, Bebris is not a threat as he’ll be locked in a cage for the next 15 years and he’ll be required to register as a sex offender when he gets out. However, if his blue privilege continues, that may not be entirely true.

As TFTP reported earlier this year, while former officer Keith Sweeney served his 10-year sentence for using his badge to commit murder, he was given blue privilege behind bars. that privilege came in the form of an iPad.

This disgraced former cop is now facing 12 additional charges of child pornography after allegedly using that iPad and the Marshall County Detention Center’s Wi-Fi to prey on children by downloading and sharing child porn — in jail.

Biden Admin ‘Prepared to Defend’ COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate After Court Ruling: Surgeon General

The Biden administration is ready to defend a Department of Labor COVID-19 vaccine-or-test mandate for private businesses after an appeals court temporarily blocked it on Saturday, said U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy in an interview Sunday.

A U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit panel ruled that there is “cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the mandate” and stayed it pending further action from the court. The ruling came in a case brought by several businesses, individuals, and organizations, as well as Texas, Mississippi, Utah, and other states.

The Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) earlier this week unveiled an emergency temporary standard that requires private businesses with 100 or more employees to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination from workers and compel those that don’t produce it to submit to weekly testing. The rule, which will be enforced starting Jan. 4, faces numerous lawsuits, and it was published in the federal register about two months after President Joe Biden announced sweeping mandates for tens of millions of American workers in the public and private sector.

In response to a question on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday, Murthy said that the “president and the administration wouldn’t have put these requirements in place if they didn’t think they were appropriate and necessary.”

“And the administration is prepared to defend them,” Murthy said, who, like Biden, said that the sweeping mandates are necessary to push up COVID-19 vaccination rates, adding that they would, in turn, allow the United States to extricate itself from the pandemic.

“Let’s step back a moment and look at why these are so important,” Murthy said Sunday. “Throughout our history, we have seen that we have used vaccine requirements to protect the population.”

Chinese Former High-Ranking Public Security Minister Arrested

The communist regime in China has placed a former high-ranking public security official under arrest, just days before the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) holds a major political meeting.

Sun Lijun, 52, was arrested on suspicion of accepting bribes during the time when he was a party committee member and vice minister at China’s Ministry of Public Security, the country’s top prosecutor announced in a statement on Nov. 5.

Sun became the ministry’s vice minister in March 2018, before he was stripped of his post in May 2020, a month after he was placed under the party’s internal investigation for corruption.

The statement added that the arrest was made following the conclusion of an investigation by the National Supervisory Commission, the regime’s anti-corruption watchdog. Without providing any more details, the statement concluded by saying that the case against Sun was “being further processed.”

The brief statement leaves open the question of whether the Chinese authorities have also investigated Sun for crimes outside of his political career at the ministry. Sun was once a deputy director at the 610 Office, the regime’s Gestapo-like agency that is notorious for human rights violations against Falun Gong adherents.

More details about Sun’s alleged crimes were announced back in September, when the regime’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection expelled Sun from the Communist Party following its investigation.

The commission accused Sun of having “hugely inflated political ambitions” and “spreading political rumors.” He had formed “factions and gangs” within the party, and created his own “interest group,” in order to build up his own power. His action “severely undermined the unity of the party,” the commission stated.

Moreover, the commission said Sun had lived a “decadent life,” which “traded power for money and sex,” and accepted “huge amounts of bribes.”

Sun’s arrest comes at a politically sensitive time in China, as the party’s Central Committee gathers for a four-day meeting called the Sixth Plenum starting from Nov. 8. One of the functions of the Central Committee is choosing CCP members to sit on the 25-member Politburo, the most powerful decision-making body in China.

At least two CCP officials—Zhao Kezhi, the current public security minister, and Guo Shengkun, secretary of the regime’s top legal body, the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission (PLAC)—openly criticized Sun in October.

Zhao’s criticism took place on Oct. 16, when during a party meeting he said that those in “Sun Lijun’s political faction” must be “thoroughly investigated” and “severely punished.”

Pastor, Al Sharpton’s younger brother indicted for distributing cocaine

Alabama Pastor Kenneth Sharpton-Glasgow, the troubled younger half-brother of civil rights activist Al Sharpton, pleaded not guilty in federal court Wednesday to distributing cocaine with an unnamed suspect.

An indictment alleges that Glasgow, 56, who runs Kenny Sharpton-Glasgow Ministries International, distributed drugs over a period of time, WDHN reports. It did not specify how long the distribution continued. A hearing for the case against Glasgow is scheduled for March 2022.

Glasgow, from Dothan, has a checkered past with law enforcement, including a capital murder charge in 2018 that was eventually dropped.

Jamie Townes, a passenger in his car, shot a woman who had apparently stolen Townes’ vehicle, WAFF reported. Townes was charged with murder, and Glasgow was also charged under Alabama’s complicity law because he was driving when the shooting occurred.

Glasgow is the son of Sharpton’s father, Al Sharpton Sr., and Sharpton’s older half-sister Tina Glasgow, ProPublica reported. Tina Glasgow is one of two children Sharpton’s mother Ada had during her first marriage in Alabama.

Tina Glasgow was 16 when she moved in with Sharpton and his parents in the early 1960s in Queens, New York. Sharpton’s father and his half-sister began a sexual relationship. When it was discovered, the two moved out of the home. Glasgow was born in May 1965.

The relationship was a scandal for Sharpton’s family at the time. Glasgow’s mother would eventually move back to Dothan with him when he was 12. It was there that his troubles with the law began.

While in Dothan, Glasgow, who described himself as sensitive when he was a child, said an acquaintance of his mother sent him to purchase weed. The seller turned out to be a cop, and Glasgow was arrested.

“I was born messed up. My fingers messed up. It’s meant for me to be messed up,” he told the publication.

After high school, Glasgow got married and had children. But he also began using drugs and went in and out of jail.

In a letter to his brother published in The Village Voice in 2001, Glasgow revealed how his addiction to crack cocaine over the years had left him delusional and opined over the disparate lives they had lived.

“I became immune to cocaine,” he wrote. “It got to a point where I didn’t get high anymore. I started going to my mother’s just to [stare] at [her], my daughter, and my granddaughter, and cry. I didn’t tell them [that] other crackheads didn’t want to get high with me anymore.

“When I hit [got high], Alfred, I would start preaching! Yes, preaching and prophesying. I would visualize scripture in my mind and see vivid pictures of people’s lives. When I would tell them [what I saw], they would get uncomfortable. Some would cry. All who I got high with agreed that God was calling me and I should quit,” he continued. “Since I wouldn’t quit, they just wouldn’t get high with me. No matter how much I paid them, they didn’t want to pray and get high with me.”

Virginia Public School Counselor Arrested After Alleged Three-Year Sexual Relationship with Now-Former Student..Mugshot

A 42-year-old public school counselor from Virginia was arrested after law enforcement authorities say she had an inappropriate sexual relationship with a former student.

Loudoun County Public School Counselor Ann M. Barrett, of Ashburn, was charged with one count of taking indecent liberties with a child by a custodian. Barrett turned herself in to sheriff’s deputies at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center Thursday afternoon, the sheriff’s office said in a press release. Under Virginia law, Barrett is facing a Class Six felony that carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison.

School officials first learned about Barrett’s alleged relationship with the former student in May 2021 and immediately contacted the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Washington, D.C. ABC affiliate WJLA-TV reported. Investigators spent several months piecing together details about the alleged relationship between Barrett and the former student. Investigators reportedly learned that the sexual relationship between the two began in 2013, when the individual was a student at Freedom High School where Barrett was employed. The relationship reportedly ended in June 2016 after the victim finished his freshman year of college.

Additional details about the victim are not being released to the public to protect their identity.

Freedom High School Principal Neelum Chaudhry released a statement following Barrett’s arrest confirming that she was no longer actively working at the school.

“Today, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office released the media alert below concerning a former Freedom High School employee. Loudoun County Public Schools has cooperated fully with this investigation,” Chaudhry wrote. “The employee – who no longer works at Freedom High School – was placed on administrative leave when the school division became aware of allegations against them in May. LCPS is seeking the termination of this individual’s employment and the revocation of their teaching license.”

Principal of Stone Hill Middle School Kathryn Clark, where Barrett also worked as a counselor, put out a similar statement but noted that “no Stone Hill students were involved” in the incident leading to Barrett’s arrest.

Earlier this year, a female student in Loudoun County alleged that she had been sexually assaulted by a male student in one of the women’s bathrooms.

Loudoun County Public Schools superintendent Dr. Scott Ziegler in October said that the district had “failed” students and parents.

“First, let me say to the families and students involved — my heart aches for you and I am sorry that we failed to provide the safe, welcoming, and affirming environment that we aspire to provide,” he said during a press conference, per WJLA. “We acknowledge and share in your pain and we will continue to offer support to help you and your families through this trauma. For all of our students, our school-based Unified Mental Health Teams are available to anyone who needs care.”

According to court filings, Barrett is currently married and does not have any criminal history. She was processed and released from custody after posting a secured bond of $10,000. Her first court appearance is scheduled for November 9 in Loudoun County Circuit Court.

Ghislaine Maxwell proposes calling psychologist who testified at Harvey Weinstein trial that victims' memories of sexual abuse are unreliable

Ghislaine Maxwell has allegedly proposed calling on a psychologist who has testified at big-name sexual assault cases, including the likes of Harvey Weinstein.

Maxwell, 59, who is Jeffrey Epstein's ex-girlfriend, has allegedly proposed calling in psychologist Elizabeth Loftus, 77, as a witness at her upcoming trial.

Loftus - a psychology professor and writer who charges $500 an hour for her work, according to the Los Angeles Times - has testified at more than 300 trials, including Weinstein, serial killer Ted Bundy and acquitted murderer OJ Simpson.

She failed to convince the jury that Annabella Sciorra's memory was defective at Weinstein's trial. Sciorra accused him of rape in the early 1990s.

Loftus has spent years researching the malleability of human memory and often claims in court that memories are wrong or distorted.

'The world is full of people who support accusers,' Loftus said in a 2020 interview with the Los Angeles Times. 'I think people who are accused deserve some modicum of support as well.'

Maxwell was arrested and charged with sexual assault for allegedly grooming teenagers for her then-boyfriend Jeffrey Epstein.

She has also allegedly called on Park Dietz, a forensic psychiatrist who has worked on the Jeffrey Dahmer trial.

Loftus has studied the supposed unreliability of witness accounts and memory repression and has used it against sexual assault survivors to support the alleged rapist discontinue the victim's testimony.

Bundy used Loftus' study on inconsistent memories to point out that Carol DaRonch - whom Bundy attacked in her Volkswagen Beetle and got away - had inconsistencies in her initial description of the serial killer and what she later recollected.

Bundy had dressed as a fake police officer when he attacked DaRonch and witness accounts from her showed that she added more color in her description of the police badge he wore after authorities showed her a picture, and that his car went from white or light blue to the actual color beige.

'When people are afraid their memories slip and slide, neglecting details, rearranging facts,' Loftus said at the time.

Mexican cartels saw lax border security under Biden as a green light to inundate the country with fentanyl and other drugs.

Outgoing DEA El Paso Division Chief Kyle W. Williamson warned in his last interview before leaving office that the cartel-driven opioid crisis in the U.S. is the worst it's ever been since he started with the agency in 1991.

His message comes as Mexican cartels that operate at will along stretches of the U.S. southern border are flooding the country with deadly fentanyl and methamphetamine and after the DEA issued an urgent public safety warning, its first in six years, about the alarming increase in the availability of fake prescription pills containing lethal doses of fentanyl and methamphetamine.

"It's the worst it's ever been," Williamson said in an interview with the El Paso Times. "There's no good news here. And the amount of methamphetamine and fentanyl coming in right now is unprecedented."

His warning comes as cartel gunfire in Mexico can be heard across the river in Texas border towns. The most powerful cartel, the Sinaloa Cartel, effectively controls the southern border from California to east of the Big Bend region in Texas, although it has a presence in nearly all Mexican states.

Under the leadership of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman and Ismael El Mayo Zambada, it became the largest transnational cartel organization (TCO) controlling the U.S.-Mexico border for at least the last decade. Once El Chapo was arrested and imprisoned in the U.S., internal conflict began, and external conflict escalated with the Juarez Cartel, which appears to have formed an alliance with the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generacion (CJNG).

Amid the ongoing infighting, the U.S. Attorney's Office for Arizona unsealed indictments Friday charging four high-ranking members of the Sinaloa Cartel, including El Chapo's brother Aureliano Guzman-Loera, with international drug trafficking, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement. The Department of Homeland Security's investigative arm posted photos of the four wanted cartel members, offering rewards of up to $5 million for information leading to their arrests and/or convictions.

"The violence, intimidation, theft, and financial crimes carried out by [Mexican] TCOs, criminal groups, and violent gangs pose a significant threat to our nation," the DEA warned in its National Drug Threat Assessment released in March. "The criminal activities of these organizations operating in the United States extend well beyond drug trafficking and have a profoundly negative impact on the safety and security of U.S. citizens. Their involvement in alien smuggling, firearms trafficking, and public corruption, coupled with the high levels of violence that result from these criminal endeavors, poses serious homeland security threats and public safety concerns."

During 2019 and the first half of 2020, two DEA initiatives resulted in the confiscation of more than 28,000 pounds of methamphetamine and millions of counterfeit pills containing fentanyl, and over 2,600 targets arrested, according to the report.

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has warned the state’s health care system will experience significant pressure in the coming weeks as it struggles with unprecedented demand.

It comes after fears Ambulance Victoria would have to enact a rare “Code Red plan”.

On Saturday night Ambulance Victoria averted a crisis after hospitals were put on notice that the service had “exhausted their ability to meet demand”, the Herald Sun reported.

It was expected a Code Red would be enacted shortly after a Code Orange was declared. However this was avoided due to “proactive steps” being taken including warning hospitals across the state of the crisis.

“While we expected demand to have a major impact on service delivery (on Saturday night), the proactive steps we took prevented the need for maximum escalation,” an Ambulance Victoria spokesman said on Sunday.

“The global Covid pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on health systems across Australia.

“Our paramedics and patient transport workers are working extremely hard to manage the increasing demand while prioritising care to the sickest Victorians.

“ … Everyone is completely overwhelmed.”

Mr Andrews echoed those concerns saying paramedics and hospital staff are dealing with what he described a “difficult gateway” as Victoria attempts to live with coronavirus.

“They are under very significant pressure, there’s no question about that,” he said.

“I would just ask every single Victorian, if it’s not an emergency, please don’t call triple-0. “There is a bit of pressure in the system at the moment.

“That will pass in time as both we see Covid demand come off and the benefits of our ongoing investment really kick in.”

What Is the Number Needed to Vaccinate (NNTV) to Prevent a Single COVID-19 Fatality in Kids 5 to 11 Based on the Pfizer EUA Application?

A funny thing happened this afternoon. Not funny as in “haha”. More like funny as in, “ohhhhh that’s how the FDA rigs the process.”

I was reading the CDC’s “Guidance for Health Economics Studies Presented to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), 2019 Update” and I realized that the FDA’s woeful risk-benefit analysis in connection with Pfizer’s EUA application to jab children ages 5 to 11 violates many of the principles of the CDC’s Guidance document. The CDC “Guidance” document describes 21 things that every health economics study in connection with vaccines must do and the FDA risk-benefit analysis violated at least half of them.

Today I want to focus on a single factor: the Number Needed to Vaccinate (NNTV). In four separate places the CDC Guidance document mentions the importance of coming up with a Number Needed to Vaccinate (NNTV). I did not recall seeing an NNTV in the FDA risk-benefit document. So I checked the FDA’s risk-benefit analysis again and sure enough, there was no mention of an NNTV.

Because the FDA failed to provide an NNTV, I will attempt to provide it here.

First a little background. The Number Needed to Treat (NNT) in order to prevent a single case, hospitalization, ICU admission, or death, is a standard way to measure the effectiveness of any drug. It’s an important tool because it enables policymakers to evaluate tradeoffs between a new drug, a different existing drug, or doing nothing. In vaccine research the equivalent term is Number Needed to Vaccinate (NNTV, sometimes also written as NNV) in order to prevent a single case, hospitalization, ICU admission, or death (those are 4 different NNTVs that one could calculate).

Pharma HATES talking about NNTV and they hate talking about NNTV even more when it comes to COVID-19 vaccines because the NNTV is so ridiculously high that this vaccine could not pass any honest risk-benefit analysis.

Indeed about a year ago I innocently asked on Twitter what the NNTV is for coronavirus vaccines.

UPDATE: Newsmax Opposes Vaccine Mandate and Will Not Enforce Vaccine Mandate at Company

There were reports out this weekend that Newsmax was enforcing a vaccine mandate on its employees.

Popular NewsmaxTV host Steve Cortes announced on Friday that he would not comply with any vaccine mandate.

On Sunday Newsmax came out with a statement strongly denying the earlier reports.

President Joe Biden’s new OSHA rule requiring businesses to have their employees vaccinated against COVID is a dangerous overreach of federal power and opposed by Newsmax.

The new OSHA rule is set to go into effect Jan. 4, 2022. It will require businesses of 100 or more to have all employees fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing.

Newsmax has no vaccine mandate nor do we require it for employment.

We have informed our staff of the upcoming federal rule.

At the same time we have notified staff we will create an easy opt-out for any employee who does not want to be vaccinated.

Under the rule, any employee who is not vaccinated will be tested for COVID on a weekly basis.

Newsmax is going beyond the OSHA rule to provide free weekly testing on its company premises.
