I did over the weekend.
Agree anon with you, if it's needed any time. I baked a lot over friday and weekend and the Chilean Bishops news just kept coming up, even when in notables a few times, so I did that as a solution. Then, yesterday we had the news about POTUS, so thought that could go there too when anons asked for it to be prominent. Then Q posted with it, kek.
Anyway, it was a temp thing and I'm completely easy if removed but if necessary, we could use it again if there's consensus.
This could be good for the moment if the baker agrees -

Personal thoughts: If it's an every bread thing it may become lost / too long with pinned news. Could be best if kept for occasional use as the bakers see fit. Not my call thoughโฆ just thoughts.
Kek, yes, was me on a marathon day bake, oftehn done day and night. I didn't bake in the evenings thi s past weekend though.
>absolutely, should be very rare & few
Agree agree with this and with your whole post. Thanks fellow baker. Weekend sure was fast, fastest I've ever seen on 8 yesterday for 8 hours straight during the day, in the morning we took really heavy TripCode shilling, twas chaos, then afternoon when Q was posting. Autists were on fire, it was a sight to behold.
Agree with you anon, although we were talking about the Headline News and Breaking News temporary thing.
A few bakers including myself really work to keep the noise out of the first post, however it instantly fills again and we dont to remove other bakers stuff generally, unless it's out of date or we really need a clean up.
Idk the solution to this tbhโฆ but a clean first post would be sweet.
Forgot to answer your question. Apols anon. Personally, I don't think putting what bakers deem the most important things in another thread would work. However at this rate, things are lost in there, so it probably wouldn't matter. For me, I'd simply have Q's posts, however we're a big team.
Agree. Keep the top post clean and tight, notables underneath (for ease of baking too), then the important links / resources we have. A thread with working / live research threads could work, then we could just link to that and it would cut the bread down a good bit.
>just one baker
The 'Threads & Research Section'
That's true, there's room in that section and it's good to have the research threads there, however if there was consensus to shorten it, I'd move that section. I'm happy with the dough just now overall, it's sweet and tight, and the bakers are doing an outstanding job (m'self excluded).
do we have a baker?
