We have been separated from our dying family members in nursing homes and hospitals for 18 months. How many people had family die alone because the hospital imposed restrictions, not because we were a threat to anyone especially our family members.

This situation is much more egregious than the illegals being separated after choosing to break the law. If it has been deemed torchure and proven so detrimental in the case of illegals, that they need to be compensated, then having the guilt for the rest of your life, that your mother/father/wife/husband died scared and alone and you were prevented from being there, should require the same or more in monetary relief.
