All but 3 (including myself) of my neighbors are vaccinated. Yesterday I brought up vaccines with one of my neighbors who I've been talking with regularly out in the back anytime we see each other while he smokes ciggs/weed and I smoke weed. I honestly thought the guy was pretty cool, he's in his 70s, he told me a lot about his life and I told him a bit about mine. Anyways long story short I told him I wasn't vaccinated and he told me to back away since he has a heart condition. I sensed animosity in his voice and said: "so you don't want to talk to me anymore?". He goes off in an angry tone saying I'm selfish and am going to get others sick and that I'm an idiot. I replied with: "Quite the contrary, I'm very health conscious and try to get others to get into better health and look into things more effectively." Which is the truth, I do my best to watch my diet and exercise regularly, if only he knew the depths of hell I escaped because I could barely get out of bed in my mid 20s because of my health problems which I simply fixed by getting sunlight, exercising, and avoiding sugar/processed foods. Basically doing everything the opposite of what health officials say. Anyways he cut me off before I could go further and just told me to fuck off so I left, no point wasting my time.

I just find it odd he turned on me so fast even though I still talk to all my vaccinated neighbors trying to get them to ask questions about the vaccine and I'm always ready to try to save them with aspirin, my supplements or whatever else. Kind of ironic the guy was telling me about being selfish and bringing up health problems when he's been smoking ciggs for 45+ years and poisons everyone around him with second hand smoke. What a fucking joke of an asshole. Finally happened to me where vaccine-related politics ended a developing friendship.
