I left about 10 years ago and it was starting to change… more homeless, so they made all the business bathrooms closed except for customers. Bart shootings and danger increased. Going to the city used to be fun and exciting, taking out of town family, but stopped shortly before we left due to not feeling safe on Bart. Was also priced out of the area. Was paying 2500 for a small 2 bed condo per mo, rent was raised and I said nope, leaving for a better life. Haven’t looked back!
I could see ‘them’ telling people they will die unless they re-up every year. Or maybe every 6 mo. Basically like antivirus for your computer.
