Back in the 90s I had a 1986 Dodge Charger. At one point, to start it, I had to open the hood, lay a hammer on the choke to close it, start it, then take the hammer off and close the hood. Total pain in the ass.
Then the accelerator cable came loose, fixed it with a paper clip.
