Humans were made in the image of God.
That means that we have a spiritual soul.
We are a part of the physical world and the spiritual world.
Humans innately know this.
They may try to suppress this knowledge, but down deep, they know it.
To deny this, is to deny that you are human.
If you are not human, then you are just an animal with no soul.
In your mind, you are no better or worse than a wild dog.
Have a nice life.
Enjoy it.
What you have now is better than what you will have after death.
God's Grace shines on the Earth.
People who are unbelievers are destined to an eternity in a place where God has turned away from them. Just the way they wanted it. If you turn your face away from God, He will turn his face away from you.
But if you think that you are more intelligent than the Creator of the Universe, creator of the spiritual realm, then by all means, continue in your folly.
I have had several dogs, and cats.
I love dogs.
Dogs are man's best friend, a gift from God.

Wild and domesticated.
Some people take comfort in believing that their pets have a soul.
But God is in control of the spiritual realm, not us.
Animals have no knowledge of God. God has not revealed Himself to them as their Creator.
Animals have no form of worship or knowledge of God.
We love the animals that God has put on this Earth. They are a blessing to us. And God expects us to treat them properly and humanely. But they are for us. They are for us to appreciate and enjoy, to have as pets, but some are also provided as a food source for us.
We eat animals, who have no soul. We don't eat people, people have a soul.
You go ahead and eat an animal who you think has a soul.
I would not eat an animal it I thought that animal had a soul.
Humans are physically designed to eat meat.
God would not design humans to eat meat and then give that meat a soul.
Think about that.
The human body was designed to eat meat.
If you don't like that fact, take it up with God.
To tell you the truth, I'm not a huge meat eater. I eat some meat, but it is not my favorite food item. But the Human race eats meat despite our personal choices.
There is nothing wrong with nudity or sexual arousal. But everything done properly and to God's glory not to His distain.
You should know in your heart what is proper and what is not.
For adults to be having sex with children is not proper. Can you deny that?

But we humans still need some meat based products in our diets. We need milk or eggs or some sort of protein from animals. The true vegans need to get B-12 shots or they suffer from malnutrition.

But if you want my opinion, I would say, outside of the Laws of this Land, in the very least, a child can be defined as a person who has not yet reached puberty.

I must agree with you there.
They were horrible sinners in need of a Savior, a Promised Messiah. That Messiah is Jesus. But Jews back in Jesus' day rejected Him as their Messiah. And Jews who practice Judaism today, continue to reject Jesus as the Promised Messiah.
That's warped.
