Gov Whitmer order this Line 5 pipeline shut down over a year ago, the case is in court. This pipeline sends oil to Ontario and Quebec, it is a Canadian pipeline owned by Embridge. Embridge is suing Michigan over the shutdown.
Why is this coming up now and Biden saying he’s considering shutting it down? This has been over a year ago Whitmer shut it down, not sure, maybe the case is close to finishing in the Court.
