Don't take this post the wrong way but someone has to ask… If James knows what he is up against and how unlawful and corrupt the FBI already is along with the DoJ, why would he keep a treasure trove of all his whistleblower information on his phone and not secure this somewhere safe offline? Having any expectation for a fair trial or treatment was long out the window and obvious after what happened to Trump with Russiagate and everything else. Kind of careless on James' part but God bless him he has done a lot of good work although now everything is compromised and a lot of people in danger. Heck, If I were Darth Vader I would have done the same thing to James, just too easy. Doesn't seem like any 5D chess moves were played, just poor defensive precautions and a lesson to be learned.

You don't play games with your sources, how will anyone trust giving information to a journalist? Julian Assange is a good example of someone that is known to be solid when it comes to protecting his sources. We don't know what kind of information James still possesses which he was probably strategically releasing at opportune moments, now the FBI has his playbook. What the FBI and DoJ is despicable but you can see that coming from a mile away so he had to be careful no matter what.

Can't argue with the theory; as long as his sources and confidants are safe. James and his attorney must be good actors because their energy was off during the interview. I've only otherwise ever seen James upbeat and with conviction in his speech and body language.
