CalAnon here. I can tell you that there has been an increase of trains heading west to East. On my daily commute, which varies time day to day, I often see long, long trains filled with double stacked shipping container cars and big rig trailers. These trains are so long they often have 4 engines in front, 2 or 3 in the middle and several on the end.

It’s always a long wait at the crossing.

Noticing it cuz I keep getting stopped by the trains at the crossing. Been in the area since mid September and definitely becoming more of a problem. Days and times of commute vary, but definitely keep having bad luck with my timing. It’s a long wait. Makes one take note.
