The flip side of that is what we see happening in CA. They made their own rules wrt trucking and it's fucked up the rest of the country because CA has the major container ports.

Feds are there to regulate interstate commerce, and, IMO should step in to address CA laws that negatively impact the other states. Buttigieg says, though, Joe's economy is in such high gear everything's sold out. That premise can be checked by looking at shipping logs to see if more container ships were underway to cause the jam at LA/LB. I think Buttigieg's FOS, and just trying to hide the fact that he doesn't have a clue about what to do. No magic wand like Trump has.

Anyway, if coastal states go their own way, flyover outside of the Mississippi/Missouri/Ohio waterways are SOL if they need to adhere to coastal state's trucking regulations.

What I'm not sure about is, in regard to CA, if they can require special regs for rigs to operate, and that applies to out of state registered rigs, how do they get around allowing non-CA specced POVs with non-CA specced fuel

to operate in the state?
