These people circled (and still do) Myanmar like vultures, exactly like they did the former Soviet Union, hoping to swoop in when the situation leaves the nation too weak to defend itself, and then grab all the natural resources, and just as importantly, the opium production.
People gotta stop thinking that everything is black and white, and that is it easily distinguishable as far as one side being "good" and one side being "bad".
