12-Year-Old Child Dies Two Days After Taking Pfizer Vaccine in Germany – Officials Pull Back on Mandatory Shots for Children

The district of Cuxhaven, Germany confirmed on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, that a 12-year-old child died two days after taking the Pfizer vaccine. Police are investigating and an autopsy was ordered due to the short interval between vaccination and death.

The result of the autopsy is still pending and is expected to be released this week at the earliest. “The current status of the autopsy suggests a connection,” Kirsten von der Lieth, press spokeswoman for the district said about the vaccine and the child’s death.

NDR reported, “As can be seen from the preliminary autopsy protocol, experts from the Forensic Medicine Institute at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf consider it likely that “the death was due to the vaccination.” The autopsy has been completed but samples are still being examined.

According to a report from the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) in Langen (Hesse), the child had serious previous illnesses, including a cardiovascular before taking the vaccine.

After this tragic case, the Cuxhaven district has pulled back and will only vaccinate healthy students.

NDR reported:

Translation: After the death of a twelve-year-old after his second corona vaccination dose, the final autopsy result is still pending. Meanwhile, the district of Cuxhaven draws its first conclusions.

From now on, only children without known pre-existing diseases should be vaccinated in the schools in the district area. All other children should go to their family doctor for vaccination, as he knows possible pre-existing diseases better, it is said. In the district of Cuxhaven, three mobile vaccination teams are in action on behalf of the district administration. Coincidentally, all three did not have a vaccination appointment in a school on Thursday. Only one shoulder min in an Otterndorf school was due. There, the company doctor, who was supposed to vaccinate the students, first postponed the appointment to wait for the final autopsy result.

President Trump Slams Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for Telling Nevada Republicans to Move on from 2020 Election

President Trump rightly puts former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in his place.

Newsweek reported that President Trump let Christie have it:

Donald Trump is taking aim at his former ally, Chris Christie, over the former New Jersey governor’s statement that the Republican party needs to “move on” from claims that the 2020 election was fraudulent.

Christie, who supported Trump last year, urged the GOP to present a “plan for tomorrow, not a grievance about yesterday” during the Republican Jewish Coalition conference in Las Vegas over the weekend.

President Trump shared the following:

“Chris Christie, who just made a speech at the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) in Las Vegas, was just absolutely massacred by his statements that Republicans have to move on from the past, meaning the 2020 Election Fraud,” Trump said.

He continued, “Everybody remembers that Chris left New Jersey with a less than 9% approval rating – a record low, and they didn’t want to hear this from him!”

We also reported who ill-timed Christie’s remarks were after the corrupt acts in his own home state’s election last week.

Rutgers Faculty Groups Stand In ‘Unequivocal Solidarity’ With Professor Who Wants White ‘Motherf**kers’ To Be ‘Taken Out’

Rutgers University faculty groups are standing behind Dr. Brittney Cooper, the professor who warns white people are “villains.”

Black and brown people happily co-existed and sailed around the world until whites came along and destroyed the world with violence, Cooper told left-wing rag The Root in September.

“White people showed up being raggedy and violent and terrible and trying to take everything from everybody,” the 41-year-old tenured professor argued. “White people are committed to being villains.”

“We gotta take these motherf**kers out,” she continued, “but like, we can’t say that, right?”

While a white professor would be immediately fired and denounced for uttering similar remarks about non-white people, Cooper’s racist paradigm is resoundingly shared and heralded by her colleagues.

Rutgers’ branch of the American Association of Professors and American Federation of Teachers issued a statement on Friday characterizing public outrage over Cooper’s bigoted remarks as a “racist” smear campaign.

“Over the past week, our colleague Brittney Cooper has come under a renewed wave of racist attacks for her public scholarship. We wish to express our unequivocal solidarity with Dr. Cooper, to affirm our support of her academic freedom, and to decry the harassment and intimidation she now faces, including threats of physical violence fueled by a media smear campaign,” the Rutgers faculty groups wrote.

Cooper, who argued “white people’s birth rate is going down” and “they kind of deserve it,” is a “renowned and widely acclaimed scholar and public intellectual,” the AAUP-AFT contends in the statement. “This smear campaign is not only an attack on her scholarly integrity but has incited threats to her physical safety.”

“We condemn the use of death threats, racist and sexist hate mail, attempts to threaten job security and attempted cyberattacks,” the faculty groups continued. “These forms of harassment are at once attacks directed at Professor Cooper’s person as well as part of a broader pattern of trying to silence people of color, and particularly Black women, through tactics of intimidation and harassment.”

The Rutgers University Black, Indigenous, and People of Color Faculty Caucus also issued a statement justifying Cooper’s tirade, arguing the backlash over the professor’s xenophobic remarks represents “white anxiety about the loss of hegemony.”

On Election Night 2020 the Edison Reporting System Displayed Bizarre County Results When Compared to State Results – Why?

The 2020 Election for the President of the United States was stolen.

Today we have more information and questions related to this corrupt election that the Democrats and many Republicans deny happened.

We reported last year on the oddities within the Edison data that is used for reporting election updates to Big Media. The Drop and Roll came from reviewing this data. This is where hundreds of thousands of votes were dropped across the country and then after that, all vote additions went proportionately to Joe Biden.

We noted last week that at essentially the same time period on Election Night all reporting for all states was suddenly eliminated and reported as zero. Then depending on the state, the totals were ‘reset’ for each state, and from that point forward there were no more zero entries for any state.

Overall, each state was zeroed out at about the same time, and then reporting started up again within 5 days of being zeroed out. The results of this can be seen below.

Major investing platform hit with data breach, millions of users affected

Scandal-hit investment platform Robinhood has revealed that the personal data of millions of its customers was exposed by a “data security incident” after an extortionist “socially engineered” a customer support staffer last week.

In a blog advisory on Monday, the Silicon Valley-based company disclosed that the “unauthorized third party” had convinced the employee over the phone to give them access to “certain customer support systems.”

During the data breach, which occurred on November 3, the attacker got hold of some five million users’ email addresses and obtained the full names of an additional two million people.

The intruder also apparently accessed additional personal details, including names, dates of birth, and address ZIP codes for a smaller group of 310 people. Meanwhile, the company said “more extensive account details” of 10 customers were taken – but it did not specify what those details were.

According to Robinhood, the criminal then demanded an extortion payment for the stolen information. The blog post noted that the attack had been “contained.” The firm said “no Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, or debit card numbers” were exposed by the breach and believes there has been “no financial loss” to any customer as a result.

Although the hackers apparently made threats about what they would do with the information, a company spokesperson told Bloomberg that it was not a ransomware attack. The unnamed representative also declined to comment on whether the firm ended up paying the attackers.

Robinhood corporate communications manager Casey Becker told tech news outlet Gizmodo that the company has “reached out to the relevant authorities.” The blog post noted that law enforcement agencies were aware of the incident while the firm is “continuing to investigate the incident with the help of [cybersecurity company] Mandiant.”

Test results for steel used in US Navy subs ‘falsified’ for decades

A former metallurgist at a Washington state foundry that produced steel used in US Navy submarines has admitted to taking “shortcuts” and doctoring the results of strength and toughness tests on the metal for over three decades.

Elaine Marie Thomas, 67, pleaded guilty to the fraud at a Tacoma court on Monday. Thomas was the director of metallurgy at a foundry in the city that provided steel castings used by Navy contractors Electric Boat and Newport News Shipbuilding to manufacture submarine hulls.

According to the Justice Department, the tests were to prove that the steel would hold up in a collision or during certain “wartime scenarios.” While there was no information on whether any submarine hulls had failed, authorities said the Navy had incurred additional costs and maintenance-related expenses to ensure the vessels were seaworthy.

Although the government did not reveal which subs were affected, the contractors have jointly built Virginia class submarines for about two decades. In a statement to the court, Thomas’ attorney noted that the “government’s testing does not suggest that the structural integrity of any submarine was in fact compromised.”

In her plea agreement, Thomas told the court that she faked test results for at least 240 steel productions between 1985 and 2017 – roughly half the steel the foundry supplied to the Navy. Her attorney said Thomas “took shortcuts,” but “never intended to compromise the integrity of any material.”

In 2017, a metallurgist being groomed to replace Thomas noticed the suspicious test results and alerted the foundry’s parent company, Bradken Inc. The Kansas City-based firm fired her and disclosed the falsified data to the Navy, but suggested that the discrepancies were not the result of fraud. Prosecutors said this affected the Navy’s efforts to investigate the scope of the problem and address potential risks to personnel.

The Justice Department said that when investigators confronted Thomas with the fraudulent results, she admitted that it “looks bad” and revealed that she had given passing grades in some tests because she thought the Navy’s temperature-testing requirements were “stupid.”

Thomas, who faces up to 10 years in prison and a $1 million fine when she is sentenced in February, was apparently not “motivated by greed nor any desire for personal enrichment,” her attorney said, adding that she “regretted failing to follow her moral compass.”

Internal Report: More Than Half Of Border Patrol Agents May Be Fired For Being Unvaccinated

An internal report from within the US Customs and Border Protection agency suggests that more than half the border patrol workforce remains unvaccinated, and that if vaccine mandates are implemented it could leave just 8000 officers on duty.

The document, obtained by Fox News, notes that 48 percent of agents have not registered their vaccination status, and of the 52 percent who have done that, ten percent are unvaccinated.

Former chief operating officer of CBP Mark Morgan, who obtained the internal report, told Fox News that Biden’s vaccine mandate is “going to take an agency that’s already gone through an unbelievable catastrophic crisis on the southwest border and deplete its resources further.”

Morgan also provided a screenshot from the report showing tables of different scenarios of depletion within the CBP.

Ex-BBC journalist tells RT who dominates world news

Robin Aitken says there is an “acceptable and polite” view of world events which is dominated by media liberals. The former BBC employee warns that we must all be wary of the “hidden persuaders” that operate in all forms of news.

Speaking to RT, former BBC journalist Robin Aitken said that media consumers in the West don’t always get a fair picture of what is happening around the world due to the presence of the liberal agenda behind much Western reporting.

“You’ve got a media culture in Britain, but this extends into other Western countries as well, where there is an acceptable and polite view of world events which is dominated by media liberals,” Aikten stated.

The journalist-turned-author contended that this was very clear when it came to former US President Donald Trump, noting that there was “unanimity” in Britain’s mainstream media that Trump was a “bad thing and a bad man.”

In a similar vein, Aikten suggested that there is a general anti-Russian atmosphere in the British media. As a result, he argued, people in the UK are exposed to a very one-sided view of events in and about Russia.

Durham indictment is ‘bad news’ for mainstream media on Steele dossier reporting: critic

A prominent press critic has warned mainstream media outlets they face a “steep journalistic challenge” to back up their initial reporting on the Steele dossier in the wake of the latest indictment secured by special counsel John Durham.

Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple wrote Monday that last week’s indictment of Igor Danchenko, a key source for former British spy Christopher Steele’s report, is “bad news” for several media outlets — including Wemple’s own employer.

“The Danchenko indictment doubles as a critique of several media outlets that covered Steele’s reports in 2016 and after its publication by BuzzFeed in January 2017 … CNN, MSNBC, Mother Jones, the McClatchy newspaper chain and various pundits showered credibility upon the dossier without corroboration — and found other topics to cover when a forceful debunking arrived in December 2019 via a report from Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz,” Wemple wrote.

Danchenko, a Russian citizen living in Virginia, is accused of lying to the FBI regarding his sources — one of whom turned out to be a PR executive with close ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton. Danchenko helped Steele compile the dossier, which put forth several outrageous allegations — including that Russian security services possessed a tape of Donald Trump in a Moscow hotel room with prostitutes who were urinating on a bed where then-President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama had previously stayed.

On Monday, Wemple said the indictment revealed that the sourcing behind the file was “threadbare in the most charitable of depictions,” as were initial media reports about the dossier’s contents.

One example Wemple cited was reporting by the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post and ABC News in 2017 alleging that the most headline-grabbing claims in the dossier — including the supposed existence of the “pee tape” — came from Sergei Millian, former president of the Russian-American Chamber of Commerce.

However, Danchenko’s recent indictment claims that while Danchenko “never spoke” to Millian, Steele believed Danchenko had “direct contact” with Millian.

Accuser details sex assault allegations against CNN’s Don Lemon

A man who accused CNN’s Don Lemon of assaulting him in a Hamptons bar three years ago claimed that the alleged behavior could be part of a “pattern.”

Accuser Dustin Hice made the comments on Monday’s “The Megyn Kelly Show” even as Lemon’s attorneys have fought back against Hice’s lawsuit in court filings, accusing the ex-bartender of withholding texts, deleting social media posts and hiding a witness who contradicted his claims.

Hice claimed in his suit that Lemon had put his hand down his own pants, rubbed his private parts and then shoved his fingers into Hice’s face.

“Anybody that acts like that in public without any fear of what it might do to somebody or the consequences it might have, that’s a pattern,” Hice told host Megyn Kelly after she asked if it seemed that was something he had done before.

“I wouldn’t be surprised,” Hice added. “He’s protected by the fact that he’s African American, gay man on television and I’m just some nobody.”

Lemon is gay and married, while Hice said in the interview he is heterosexual.

Neither CNN nor Lemon’s attorney returned a request for comment from The Post on Monday, but a network spokesperson has previously painted Hice as a CNN hater looking for a payday.

“The plaintiff in this lawsuit has previously displayed a pattern of contempt for CNN on his social media accounts,” the spokesperson told USA Today in a statement in 2019. “This claim follows his unsuccessful threats and demands for an exorbitant amount of money from Don Lemon.”

Attorneys for Lemon have outlined a lengthy discovery process in court filings that saw Hice allegedly admit to deleting numerous social media posts. Lemon’s legal team also said Hice indicated in texts to the key witness in the case that there could be a financial reward for testimony corroborating his story.

Biden Climate Advisor Lauded ‘Global Benefit’ Of China’s Exploitative Belt And Road Initiative In Unearthed Op-Ed.

Sonia Aggarwal, a Senior Advisor to President Joe Biden on climate policy, lauded the Chinese Communist Party’s controversial “Belt and Road” Initiative in an unearthed op-ed.

Aggarwal, who’s worked in the White House Office of Domestic Climate Policy since January, authored an op-ed for Forbes in December 2017: “The China Belt And Road Initiative Could Help – Or Hurt – Clean Energy In Emerging Economies.”

The article, which concludes that “recent developments suggest hope for China’s green Belt and Road Initiative,” evaluates the progress of the initiative based on its adherence to “green” energy goals. It fails to mention how the Chinese Communist Party has weaponized the Belt and Road Initiative to financially exploit developing countries and expand its global hegemony.

As the U.S. State Department has warned, Beijing “uses the Belt and Road Initiative and other undertakings to expand foreign markets for Chinese companies and as a means of drawing nations, particularly their political and economic elites, into Beijing’s geopolitical orbit.”

Its “infrastructure projects — ports, railroads, highways, dams, industrial parks, civil nuclear facilities and other energy related initiatives, and more — typically rely on imported Chinese workers rather than local labor, and sometimes involve 50- to 100-year business relationships that entrench China’s long-term access to local elites and confer power over key parts of the host country’s critical infrastructure,” warned the department.

Aggarwal fails to cite any of the aforementioned concerns, instead uncritically quoting International Renewable Energy Agency Director-General Adnan Amin, who claimed “the [Belt and Road] Initiative can not only help to interconnect electricity grids and deploy more renewable energy, but it can also expand electricity markets to countries with extremely high renewable energy potential, including those in Central Asia. China has the technology and the resources, and it can help to achieve these goals by building partnerships and cooperation.”

DeSantis Doubles Down On ‘Brandon Administration’ Comment When Pressed By Reporter

“Well, let me ask you how he’s treated us. Well, look, I think it’s a joke but honestly, one of the reasons why that has taken on is because a lot of your folks in the national media, they get very sensitive to it,” DeSantis responded. “Because what happened was people were chanting something else very colorful. You had a reporter though, say it was ‘Let’s Go, Brandon’ when that’s not really what was said.”

“I think the reason why it’s caught on is because I think it needles the national media a little bit because look, they’ve become very partisan.”

Sean Parnell Abuse Allegations Hit Buzzsaw: Pennsylvania Republican Testifies Wife Presented Photo of Bruised Child – Who Wasn’t His

BUTLER, Pennsylvania — Republican Senate candidate Sean Parnell unequivocally denied every accusation of abuse made against him by his wife during a heated custody hearing Monday and said a photo his wife had previously presented as evidence was not his child.

Parnell, who stands accused by his wife of abusing both her and his children, took the stand for the first time Monday afternoon and testified in a Butler County courtroom that none of the alleged incidents of abuse happened.

Laurie Snell charged last week that in one incident, Parnell allegedly struck their son in February 2018, and Snell presented evidence of a photo of the back of a child with welts on their back. When asked by his attorney if he had done this, Parnell firmly replied under oath, “No. It didn’t happen.”

Parnell also denied that the child in the photo was his, and a source close to Parnell said the identity of the child is unclear and that no one seems to know who the child in the picture is.

Snell also testified last week that she heard Parnell punch a door and then heard the door hit one of their children in the head in May 2018.

Parnell denied that allegation, saying he and his son were playing when his son hit his head on a door. That the incident was child abuse “could not be further from the truth,” Parnell said, adding that “Laurie wasn’t even there” and that he had immediately comforted his son when it happened.

In another claim, Snell said Parnell choked her in a rage until she bit him to stop. When his attorney questioned if that had happened, Parnell replied, “Absolutely not.” The Pennsylvania Republican asserted that he had “never” physically abused Snell or his children.

Snell also accused Parnell of yelling at her when she was pregnant to “get an abortion.” Asked if that had happened, Parnell said, “Absolutely not.”

Snell’s allegations against Parnell began crumbling Monday during her cross-examination as new context surfaced. Text messages, for instance, revealed Snell had asked Parnell in 2018, after the alleged child abuse incidents, to watch their children. Snell also went on a vacation to Florida with Parnell and their kids right after the first alleged child abuse incident.

In an unexpected turn of events, Snell was asked if she punished her kids and she admitted to once pinching one of her sons, who was around 12 years old at the time, on the back of the arm after he called her a name. During Parnell’s testimony, the Pennsylvania father said, “This incident is very concerning for me.” He said his son’s cries of pain after the incident were unusual and that he had “bruises on his arm for weeks” as a result of the pinch.

Parnell, a decorated war veteran who fought in heavy combat in Afghanistan for 16 months in 2006–2007, ran for Congress last year in his first bid for office against now-Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA) and narrowly lost by about two points.

Smugglers Coordinate with National Guard to Ferry Migrants into South Texas

ROMA, Texas — Human smugglers ferried more than 100 migrants into the downtown square Monday night. National Guardsmen assisted Border Patrol agents to line the migrants and march them into the city for transport. In what has become a nightly ritual, smugglers made short work of transporting the migrants into Roma from Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas.

The Central American migrants were mostly from Guatemala and Nicaragua. Breitbart Texas interviewed several who said they were fleeing government corruption, violence, and poverty. Most said they hoped they would be allowed to remain in the United States and receive asylum.

The smugglers openly communicate with the soldiers and Border Patrol agents, coordinating where to beach the raft so children can easily climb the riverbank.

Once on dry land, soldiers and Border Patrol agents march the migrants downtown and take basic biographical information.

The migrants will be taken to a nearby soft-sided processing center. Many of the family unit migrants with tender age children will ultimately be released. Border Patrol agents in the Rio Grande Valley Sector arrested more than 549,000 migrants in Fiscal Year 2021. Roughly 257,000 of those were classified as family unit members, according to the Border Patrol.

Israeli Health Minister Wants Daily COVID Testing on Infants

On the latest episode of CHD.TV’s “The Jerusalem Report,” host Ilana Rachel Daniel presented the latest news about Israel’s COVID policy, and took to the streets to interview members of the Israeli community on being part of a growing resistance against those policies.

Daniel reported that Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz is promoting the expansion of the green class pilot, an experiment to test the effectiveness of polymerase chain reaction, or PCR tests, on children ages 0 to 3. The new course of action will require daily testing for infants.

“Preparations for the next in line,” she said.

Daniel also discussed Israel’s decision to administer the AstraZeneca COVID vaccine to people who experienced adverse reactions to the Pfizer COVID vaccine, even though 18 other countries have banned the AstraZeneca vaccine because it’s been linked to blood clots. This means Israel will no longer exclusively contract with Pfizer.

To find out what the Israeli people think about the country’s policies and COVID response, Daniel interviewed numerous people, young and old, at several protests and community rallies across Israel.

Yair Biran, a lawyer and singer, told a crowd of protesters, “We are discriminating. The state of Israel is discriminating by law, between Jews in the land of Israel, between civilians in the land of Israel.” Meanwhile protesters sang in Hebrew, “Slaves we were, now we are free.”

An elderly woman shared a photo of a sign she found in a shop window, “No entry to dogs and no entry to the people who are not vaccinated.”

Care bosses issue desperate plea for No10 to delay or ditch its 'timebomb' no jab, no jab policy with up to 60,000 unjabbed staff facing sack on THURSDAY - as sector warns homes will CLOSE because there were already 100k vacancies before Covid struck

Nadra Ahmed, from the National Care Association, called on Boris Johnson to halt the double-jab plans

Health leaders have warned it will spark a mass exodus of up to 60,000 workers — a tenth of the workforce

Unions representing employees have also called for the policy to be delayed or dropped by officials

Care bosses have today issued a desperate appeal for No10 to delay or even ditch its 'timebomb' no jab, no job policy over fears 60,000 workers will be sacked within days.

From Thursday all care home workers must have received two doses of a Covid vaccine or face losing their jobs.

Unions have warned a tenth of the sector's entire workforce will be forced out of employment, which could see already under-staffed homes have to close. There were already more than 100,000 vacancies across the social care sector in England before ministers confirmed the controversial policy.

Nadra Ahmed, chair of the National Care Association, today called on Boris Johnson and Health Secretary Sajid Javid to halt the plans to avoid harming society's most vulnerable.

Calling on the Government to U-turn on the policy, she told MailOnline: 'The impact of this legislation will create additional pressures not only for social care provision but close doors to the NHS for options relating to discharge for vulnerable people into social care.

'It's not too late for the Secretary of State (Mr Javid) and, indeed, the Prime Minister to halt this legislation in the best interests of the people we care for. We are at the 11th hour, and it is a ticking timebomb. The damage will be far reaching, but even now halting this will help us to get through the winter.'

Unions representing workers in the sector are also calling on ministers to pause or even abandon the plans, saying the heavy-handed approach could do 'more harm than good'.

One care worker with more than a decade of experience Louise Akester, 36, was made redundant from Alderson House in Hull today after she failed to get vaccinated. In a tearful video she said: 'That's the hardest thing I've had to do, saying goodbye to everybody, all the people I've care for, for so long, the people I've worked for.'

More than nine in ten employees have already got two doses of the Covid vaccine, official figures show. Industry bosses have warned up to 500 homes face being closed down because of the policy, which would leave them without 'enough staff to operate safely'.

Ministers are already considering whether all NHS staff should be required to get two doses of the Covid vaccine, although it seems likely the move will not be brought in until April.

Analysis of Google search data indicates politics played a major role in shaping COVID-19 fears in the United States

Political partisanship is a better predictor of the fear of dying of COVID-19 than coronavirus cases and deaths, according to new research that examined search data from Google. The study, published in PLOS One, uncovered significant differences between states that supported Hillary Clinton and states that supported Donald Trump in 2016.

There were two main reasons to conduct the study, according to lead researcher Joan C. Timoneda, an assistant professor of political science at Purdue University.

“First is that COVID-19 has had a major impact on politics,” Timoneda explained. “One’s intuition is that, as a society, a response to a pandemic should not be politicized and that we all should act in accordance with the greater public good. This has certainly not been the case, which is fascinating. Second is that I’ve been working with Google Trends data for awhile and I wanted to see what patterns emerged in terms of searches on Google that we could leverage to explain the pandemic’s politics.”

Google Trends is a service that gathers data on search volume for given words or phrases within a specific location and time. In this case, the researchers were interested in examining Google searches for the phrase “will I die from coronavirus” between February 18 and May 30 of 2020, during the early stages of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

The researchers found that searches for “will I die from coronavirus” were linked to whether Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton won a state’s electoral votes in the 2016 general election. Even after controlling for factors such as population density, unemployment rate, and urbanicity, searches for the phrase tended to be higher in states that Clinton won compared to states that Trump won.

Not surprisingly, Google searches for “will I die from coronavirus” were more common in states with more coronavirus cases and deaths. But “the correlation between people’s worries about the virus and the actual number of cases and deaths is weaker than the relationship between worries about the virus and partisanship across U.S. states,” the researchers said.

“We show that the response to the pandemic is highly politicized and that people in states that supported Trump are much less likely to be concerned about dying from the coronavirus, even when controlling for cases and deaths in the state,” Timoneda told PsyPost.

The findings are in line with other research, which has provided evidence that political partisanship plays an important role in responses to the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, another study in PLOS One found that shelter-in-place orders tended to be less effective in states with a greater share of Trump voters.
