NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio Says He Wants to Require Children Ages 5-11 Show Proof of Covid Vaccine to Access Businesses

Meanwhile in the Democrat hellhole of New York City…

Outgoing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio this week said he wants to require children ages 5 to 11 show proof of Covid vaccine to access businesses.

“At what point will you ask them to also start checking vaccine cards for 5-11 year olds?” a reporter asked de Blasio on Monday.

“That’s a very good question and one we need to focus on now,” de Blasio said. “We know it will take a while.”

The CDC recently approved Covid vaccines for children ages 5-11 even though kids are at virtually zero risk of dying from the China Coronavirus.

There are approximately 500 children who die every year from the seasonal flu.

Each year over 1200 children are killed in roadside fatalities.

And approximately 700 children drown.

According to the most recent data from the Chicago Police Department and the CDC, the number of children that have been shot this year in the Windy City is much higher than children who have been killed by the virus NATIONWIDE since the beginning of the pandemic.

According to Fox: “More children have been fatally shot in Chicago alone than have died of COVID-19 in the entire state of Illinois.”

A couple weeks ago the FDA admitted they don’t know the long term risks to children.

“We’re never gonna learn about how safe the vaccine is until we start giving it,” one of the FDA’s voting members said a couple weeks ago.

Republicans Who Backed Biden’s Agenda Help Shift Infrastructure Away from Their Voters, Toward Blue Districts

Thirteen House Republicans, along with 19 Senate Republicans, are helping shift infrastructure projects away from their own districts and toward blue, Democrat districts when they voted to support President Joe Biden’s $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.

The bill includes the Digital Equity Act that expands broadband to American communities that currently lack access to the internet due to either poverty, dilapidated infrastructure, or their geographical location such as rural communities.

Though, as Breitbart News reported, the broadband expansion will be partially based on how many nonwhite residents and newly arrived immigrants a particular community has. Communities with large foreign-born populations and are majority-minority will be first in line for the expansion.

In effect, the less white an area is and the more immigrants who reside there, the quicker that community is to secure broadband expansion. Because Democrats tend to represent these communities, Republican votes for the bill serve to penalize their constituents for their region’s demographic makeup.

Nineteen GOP senators voted with Democrats to approve expanding broadband across the United States based on racial quotas https://t.co/3OqBSnU6DD

— Breitbart News (@BreitbartNews) August 13, 2021

Demographic data calculated by Breitbart News shows that the 13 House Republicans who voted for the bill represent districts where white Americans are the overwhelming majority and where native-born Americans represent anywhere from 69 to 98 percent of their districts — an indication that their constituents are likely to be some of the last communities in line for broadband expansion.

For instance, Reps. John Katko (R-NY), Tom Reed (R-NY), Andrew Garbarino (R-NY), and Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) represent districts in New York that are majority white with few foreign-born residents.

Malliotakis’s district, which includes Staten Island and a portion of southern Brooklyn, is 69 percent white and 69 percent native-born. Katko’s district, which includes Syracuse in upstate New York, is 83 percent white and 94 percent native-born.

Reed’s district sits on the border of western New York and Pennsylvania, an area that is 90 percent white and 96 percent native-born while Garbarino’s district that encompasses the South Shore of Long Island is 74 percent white and 83 percent native-born.

Lawmakers from more rural districts, whose communities would benefit the most from broadband expansion except for the racial and immigration quotas in the bill, include Reps. Don Bacon (R-NE) whose district is 81 percent white and 91 percent native-born.

Rep. Don Young (R-AK) represents all of Alaska, a state that is 64 percent white and 92 percent native-born. Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick’s (R-PA), district similarly, is 85 percent white and 89 percent native-born while Rep. David McKinley’s (R-WV) district is 94 percent white and 98 percent native-born.

Others who voted for the bill despite almost certainly shifting broadband expansion away from their districts include Reps. Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ) whose district is 74 percent white and 90 percent native-born, Fred Upton (R-MI) whose district is 85 percent white and 91 percent native-born, Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) whose district is 89 percent white and 95 percent native-born, Chris Smith (R-NJ) whose district is 86 percent and 88 percent native-born, and Anthony Gonzalez (R-OH) whose district is 93 percent white and 94 percent native-born.

Meanwhile, 28 of the 30 most majority-minority congressional districts — all of which stand to benefit the most from the bill’s broadband expansion via racial and immigration quotas — are represented by Democrats across Texas, California, Florida, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, South Carolina, Michigan, and New York.

General Electric will split into three public companies

Following the company's announcement, its stock trade increased by nearly 7%.

General Electric announced Tuesday that it is splitting its large industrial company into three different publicly traded entities.

According to the Washington Examiner, the organization founded in 1892 by Thomas Edison will be split into three companies focusing on energy, health care, and aviation.

The separation will happen over a course of two years, in a phased approach in hopes of being "better positioned to deliver long-term growth" to GE's investors.

Today is a defining moment for GE, and we are ready," said CEO Larry Culp in a statement. "Our teams have done exceptional work strengthening our financial position and operating performance."

The company has already selected the new leaders of the separate operations. In 2022, Culp will become the CEO of Aviation, while Peter Arduini will be phased in as the CEO of healthcare in 2023, and Scott Strazik will serve as the CEO of energy in 2024.

Financial experts say the company's decision comes as investors have seen lackluster performance in the stock market since the 2008 financial crisis.

The 129-year-old company at one point reportedly was the most valuable company in the world, with an estimated worth of $601 billion in 2000. However, the company's stocks plummeted during the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis, with stock prices dropping by 42% in one year.

Following the company's announcement, its stock trade increased by nearly 7%.

Taliban Inaugurates "Islamic Emirate Army" With Largest-Ever Convoy Of US Armored Vehicles

The Taliban on Tuesday inaugurated its "Islamic Emirate Army" in the large city of Kandahar in Afghanistan's south by showcasing a lengthy parade of armored vehicles taken from US and NATO forces.

While it's not the first time since conquering the country in August amid the rapid US troop withdrawal that the Taliban has held military parades touting its newly acquired Western hardware and weaponry, the Kandahar parade did appear to involve the most US-supplied vehicles ever on display at once.

Helicopters could also be seen flying overhead, suggesting that the Taliban has to some degree resolved its lack of pilots problem. The Pentagon in its earlier evacuation said it attempted to destroy and disable many aircraft it left behind, but clearly they didn't get to everything.

According to the AFP description of the event which featured what looked like hundreds of US military vehicles in a line that stretched as far as one can see:

The Taliban hold a military parade in Kandahar, Afghanistan's second-largest city and the militants' spiritual heartland, using former Afghan and international forces vehicles and helicopters to inaugurate their new "Islamic Emirate Army".

A convoy of military vehicles drove down Kandahar's main road, which links the airport to the city center, past onlookers while religious music blasted from loudspeakers. The Taliban defense minister recently announced military units would be reorganized and renamed.

The Taliban's army appeared to be much more organized and professional in its presentation than in prior months…

Judge rules against Trump in lawsuit trying to block Jan. 6 committee from obtaining his White House documents

A U.S. federal judge ruled against former President Donald Trump in a lawsuit attempting to block his White House documents from being obtained by the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 rioting at the Capitol.

Attorneys for Trump argued that his documents from his one term as president should be protected by executive privilege despite current President Joe Biden refusing to extend that protection.

U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan in the District of Columbia disagreed and ordered that the documents should be handed over from the National Archives to the committee requesting them.

The committee is seeking visitors logs, telephone records, and other White House documents.

Some Democrats have alleged that Trump had a role in the planning of the political demonstration that turned violent when some Trump supporters assaulted Capitol Police and vandalized the offices at the Capitol.

Trump had previously requested that Biden invoke executive privilege to keep the documents requested from the committee but the White House refused that request in early October.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the rioting at the Capitol constituted a "existential crisis" and a "test" of whether the nation could survive.

"It was, in many respects, a unique attack on the foundations of our democracy," said Psaki in a media briefing at the time. "The president's dedicated to ensuring that something like that could never happen again, which is why the administration is cooperating with ongoing investigations, including the Jan. 6 select committee to bring to light what happened."

A spokesperson for the former president released a scathing statement excoriating Democrats and the media over the committee's request for documents.

"The January 6th Committee is a partisan sham to distract Americans from the Democrats' policies that are killing and robbing Americans," said director of communications Taylor Budowich in part.

"The Committee isn't seeking the truth," he concluded, "it's seeking Communist-style political persecution of President Trump and the America First patriots who served their country honorably."

The lawsuit said the documents would be released to the committee by Nov. 12 unless a judge intervened.

Here's more on the battle over Trump's Jan 6 documents:
