Fauci also withheld successful treatments from AIDS patients for over a year as THOUSANDS died.

He wanted a vaccine — that never came.

‘QAnon Shaman’ should get jail time to set example – prosecutors

Federal prosecutors have requested a jail term of over four years for ‘QAnon Shaman’ Jacob Chansley, described as “the public face of the Capitol riot.” They say they want the sentence to set an example to others.

Clad in fur, facepaint, and Viking-style horns, Chansley is instantly recognizable from photos and videos of the pro-Trump riot on Capitol Hill in January. After languishing in solitary confinement for seven months, Chansley pleaded guilty in September to obstructing the certification of President Joe Biden’s electoral victory, a federal offense.

Government prosecutors requested on Tuesday that Chansley be sentenced to 51 months’ imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, according to a court filing.

The sentence would be the harshest handed out to a Capitol rioter so far. Only one other felony defendant – 38-year-old Paul Hodgkins from Florida – has been sentenced to prison time for participating in the riot. Like Chansley, Hodgkins did not commit any acts of violence, but was sentenced to eight months in prison for obstructing Congress.

Prosecutors wrote in their filing that Chansley was being singled out for harsh treatment based on his conduct, and as a deterrent against any would-be rioters in the future.

“The defendant was among the first 30 rioters to penetrate the US Capitol building,” the filing read. “The defendant then stalked the hallowed halls of the building, riling up other members of the mob with his screaming obscenities about our nation’s lawmakers, and flouting the ‘opportunity‘ to rid our government of those he has long considered to be traitors.”

Those enormous harms, borne out of the acts of this defendant, must be deterred so that we never see a similar assault on our democracy again.

Prosecutors are looking for a stiffer sentence for Chansley than for Scott Fairlamb, a New Jersey MMA fighter who pleaded guilty in August to assaulting a police officer during the riot, and who is facing a sentence of 44 months in prison. US District Court Judge Royce Lamberth will decide both men’s final sentences next Wednesday.

Apple loses appeal in epic battle against payment monopoly

A US federal judge has denied Apple’s request for a pause on a previous court order forcing the company to allow app makers to implement their own payment systems, after the tech giant was sued over alleged antitrust violations.

Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals shut down the company’s petition for a stay on an earlier order on Tuesday, saying Apple’s rules for payments on its App Store amounted to “incipient antitrust conduct,” also accusing it of “supercompetitive commission rates resulting in extraordinarily high operating margins.”

“Other than, perhaps, needing time to establish guidelines, Apple has provided no credible reason for the court to believe that the injunction would cause the professed devastation,” the judge added, referring to Apple’s argument that the changes ordered to in-app payments would cause “irreparable harm” to the company. She upheld a previous deadline of December 9 to adhere to the order, handed down in September, denying even a symbolic 10-day extension requested by Apple.

While Gonzales Rogers said Apple’s own payment system might still be preferable for app developers and customers, “the fact remains: it should be their choice. Consumer information, transparency, and consumer choice [are] in the interest of the public.”

A spokesperson for Apple told Reuters it would immediately challenge Tuesday’s decision, adding that the company “believes no additional business changes should be required to take effect until all appeals in this case are resolved.”

The ruling is the latest in a lengthy antitrust battle over in-app payment systems launched last year by video game maker Epic Games, which objected to Apple’s steep 30% commission fees and tried to implement its own microtransaction system in its hugely popular game, ‘Fortnite’. Though Gonzales Rogers’ decision in September went largely in Apple’s favor, finding that Epic had violated its contractual obligations with the Big Tech firm and requiring it to pay a substantial sum in damages, Apple has nonetheless fought to retain its control over App Store payments – at least so long as the appeals process plays out in the courts, which could take several years.

More UK universities ban criticism of Israel – report

Following threats of government sanctions, over 200 higher education providers in England have adopted a controversial definition of anti-Semitism that places limits on criticism of Israel, a report has found.

According to the Office for Students (OfS), a total of 216 post-secondary institutions in the country have signed up to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of anti-Semitism over the past year.

The higher education regulator released figures on Wednesday that showed 95 universities have now adopted the IHRA definition – a significant increase from the 28 universities who had signed on as of September 2020, according to Union of Jewish Students (UJS) research.

After the UJS stated that some 80 universities had no plans to adopt it, former Education Secretary Gavin Williamson criticised the “shamefully low” figures in October 2020 and warned that the OfS would take action – including freezing “funding streams” – if universities did not sign on by December.

UK govt ‘disgusted’ at how protesters treated Israeli ambassador

The British government has slammed the actions of dozens of protesters who gathered outside the London School of Economics and heckled Israel’s ambassador to the UK, Tzipi Hotovely, who’d attended a debate at the institution.

On Tuesday evening, Hotovely was accosted by a crowd of apparently pro-Palestine protesters as she left the London School of Economics (LSE), with some shouting “aren’t you ashamed!” as the ambassador was ushered into a car by bodyguards.

Hotovely later posted on Twitter that she would “not be intimidated” and vowed to continue sharing “the Israeli story and hold open dialogue with all parts of British society.” She also thanked the UK government for its support.

Foreign Office minister James Cleverly subsequently blasted what he dubbed the “aggressive and threatening behaviour” of the protesters in a Twitter post, labelling it “unacceptable.”

Home Secretary Priti Patel said she was “disgusted” by the treatment of the ambassador and backed the police in investigating the incident. “Antisemitism has no place in our universities or our country,” she added.

According to the Israeli embassy, the question-and-answer event at the LSE was peaceful and lasted around 90 minutes. Hotovely left the event after the debate had wrapped up, and there were no interruptions during the debate.

Sweden's PM formally resigns for second time

Sweden's Prime Minister Stefan Lofven has formally resigned from office for the second time, months after a vote of no confidence and political infighting stalled his agenda ahead of the country's upcoming 2022 general election.

Lofven was filmed on Wednesday handing his resignation letter to the speaker of the parliament, Andreas Norlen, marking the end of his seven-year tenure as prime minister.

Back in August, Lofven had announced his intention to resign from office, claiming that he wants to give his successor "the best of conditions" ahead of the 2022 general election.

"The decision has matured over time. I have been party chairman for ten years, prime minister for seven. These years have been amazing. But everything comes to an end," Lofven said.

Throughout the last year, Sweden has been dogged by political infighting that saw Lofven quit as prime minister after losing a vote of no confidence. He was later re-appointed as the country's leader after opposition parties were unable to form a government.

The dispute that led to Lofven's downfall had centered around a debate about housing market policy, which cost the Social Democrats their coalition partner, the Left Party, depriving the government of a majority.

Magdalena Andersson, the finance minister, was recently elected to replace Lofven as the leader of the Social Democrats. Lofven's resignation clears the way for her to become the nation's first female prime minister, if she can secure the backing of a majority of MPs.

It is not clear when a vote will be held in Sweden's parliament on whether to appoint Andersson as Prime Minister. The Center Party has said it will back Andersson's bid to take over from Lofven as the nation's leader. The Left Party and Green Party are expected to do the same.

Astroworld staff told in event plan to refer to possible dead fans as ‘smurfs’

Astroworld staffers were instructed to refer to potential dead concertgoers as “smurfs,” according to a security and emergency medical response plan — as witnesses described victims as turning “black and blue.”

The 56-page Event Operations Plan, which was obtained by CNN, instructs the personnel at NRG Park in Houston to never use the terms “dead” or “deceased” on the radio.

Scoremore, the Austin-based promoter, instead instructed workers to use the code word borrowed from the blue animated children’s characters, the document shows.

It is unclear why the term “smurf” was chosen or whether staff actually used the code on the radio when referring to Astroworld victims — some of whom were described by eyewitnesses as turning blue as they suffocated, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Instagram user @diabloxantiago said in a video that he watched people turn “black and blue” while receiving CPR, the paper said.

Houston Mayor’s office spokesman Brent Taylor said he believed the use of the code word in the plan, which was prepared before Friday’s deadly event, was “operational,” according to Yahoo News.

He said he has heard the term “smurf” used “secondhand” before, but referred questions to the promoter.

Eight people between the ages of 14 and 27 were killed and about 300 were injured — including a 9-year-old boy who is in a coma — when a mass of fans among the 50,000 concertgoers rushed the stage during rapper Travis Scott’s performance.

The detailed plan published by CNN also includes protocols for a variety of dangerous situations — including an active shooter, terrorist threat, possible riot and severe weather.

However, it does not address crowd surges despite an incident from the same festival in November 2019, when three people were hospitalized after being trampled.

Nearly 29,000 Tons of COVID Plastic Now Floats in the Oceans, Study Finds

One of the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic has been the introduction of a new type of plastic waste in the form of single-use personal protective equipment (PPE).

Now, a study published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America calculates for the first time how much of that waste is ending up in the oceans and what it is doing once it gets there.

“The Covid-19 pandemic has led to an increased demand for single-use plastics that intensifies pressure on an already out-of-control global plastic waste problem,” study co-authors Yiming Peng and Peipei Wu from Nanjing University told The Guardian. “The released plastics can be transported over long distances in the ocean, encounter marine wildlife, and potentially lead to injury or even death.”

The Nanjing University and University of California (UC), San Diego-led research team looked at waste generated between the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and August 2021, according to a UC San Diego press release. All told, the study found that 193 countries have generated more than 8.4 million tonnes (approximately 9.3 million U.S. tons) of COVID-specific plastic waste since the pandemic began, and 25,900 tonnes (approximately 28,550 U.S. tons) of that ended up in the world’s oceans.

The findings were based on a model that calculated how the pandemic would impact the amount of plastic released into the ocean from the land and where it would go from there.

“The model simulates how the seawater moves driven by wind and how the plastics float on the surface ocean, degraded by sunlight, fouled by plankton, landed on beaches, and sunk to the deep,” study co-author Yanxu Zhang, also from Nanjing University, said in the press release. “It can be used to answer ‘what if’ questions, for example, what will happen if we add a certain amount of plastics to the ocean?”

The answer is that, within three to four years, a large portion of the pollution will end up either on beaches or the seabed, with a smaller amount reaching the open ocean where it could end up in gyres or a plastic accumulation zone in the Arctic Ocean.

Further, the study looked at the main sources of pandemic-related waste. Regionally, 46 percent came from Asia, 24 percent from Europe and 22 percent from the Americas, The Guardian reported. Interestingly, the bulk of this waste is not coming from individual use of PPE, which only accounted for 7.6 percent of the total. Instead, the bulk of the waste came from hospitals, at 87.4 percent.

“When we started doing the math, we were surprised to find that the amount of medical waste was substantially larger than the amount of waste from individuals, and a lot of it was coming from Asian countries, even though that’s not where most of the COVID-19 cases were,” study co-author Amina Schartup, an assistant professor at UC San Diego’s Scripps Institution of Oceanography, said in the press release. “The biggest sources of excess waste were hospitals in areas already struggling with waste management before the pandemic; they just weren’t set up to handle a situation where you have more waste.”

Anatomy of a media hit job — how press pushed Clinton’s lies against Trump

Russiagate has fallen apart, with special counsel John Durham exposing the notorious Steele Dossier as a collection of lies and made-up stories. But you wouldn’t know it by reading most of the media, which have mostly ignored the story.

More importantly, they haven’t faced up to their own part in pushing this witch hunt. Relying on one anonymous source — ex-British spy Christopher Steele — they spun a supposed conspiracy between Donald Trump and Russia. But they never revealed the fact that Steele was being paid by Hillary Clinton’s campaign for opposition research, and they never examined Steele’s sources, who were unreliable or nonexistent.

Here’s how the media amplified Steele’s baseless claims to create hysteria. None of these stories have been updated, no corrections have been made.

Hillary Clinton: Pays law firm Perkins Coie for campaign services, which hires research group Fusion GPS to do opposition reporting on Donald Trump. They in turn hire . . .

Christopher Steele: Beginning in March 2016, the former British spy collects rumor and innuendo supposedly from “inside sources.” But his primary source really is . . .

Igor Danchenko: A former Brookings Institution analyst who worked closely with foreign affairs specialist Fiona Hill. Danchenko claims to hear from Sergei Millian, a real estate broker with ties to Russia, of cooperation between the Trump campaign and Vladimir Putin. But special counsel John Durham says the phone calls with Millian never happened, Danchenko just made it up. Danchenko has been charged with lying to investigators. Charles Dolan Jr.: A longtime Democratic operative for the Clintons, he passes on idle chatter and even admits to the FBI that he made up a conversation with a GOP operative that he passes along to Danchenko. This all leads to . . .

The Steele dossier: A collection of memos filled with every made-up, speculative, unverified thing Steele collects, packaged up as a grand conspiracy.

The whisper campaign

July 2016: Besides giving the dossier to the Clinton campaign, Steele also makes a copy for an FBI agent in Rome and starts pushing for an investigation.

September 2016: Frustrated he isn’t getting the big public FBI investigation he wants, Steele meets for off-the-record chats with The New York Times, The Washington Post, Yahoo News, Mother Jones, The New Yorker and CNN. This leads to two stories:

“US intel officials probe ties between Trump adviser and Kremlin,” Yahoo News, Sept. 23, 2016

Then: Steele speaks to journalist Michael Isikoff about Trump adviser Carter Page, saying his dealings with Congress were being discussed by “senior members of Congress.” One “senior member” was noted dirty trickster Harry Reid, then Senate minority leader, who was given a copy of the dossier — and then kept writing letters to the FBI before the election pushing for an investigation. The FBI would use the dossier as part of its justification to wiretap Page.

Now: We know an FBI lawyer lied on the affidavit to wiretap Page, claiming he wasn’t an informant for the CIA even though Page had given the agency intelligence. The wiretaps turned up nothing, and Carter was never charged with a crime. Isikoff doesn’t reveal that the same person is responsible for feeding this story to the FBI, Reid and him: Steele.

Senate Candidate Jim Lamon Talks Tough on China… While Doing Business With Them.

One of the accomplishments of Donald Trump, among many, was that he “red pilled” many Americans on the issue of China, from unfair trade practices to the outright theft of intellectual property. If you were to ask most in the America First base what the top three or four issues are for them, behind election integrity and immigration, China is one of those top issues.

Which makes it even more important going into the 2022 elections, especially in primaries, that an America First candidate who is consistent across the board on all issues wins the GOP nomination, which brings us to Arizona and the Republican primary for US Senate.

It was already going to be one of the top pick up opportunities for Republicans in 2022, and in the wake of the Virginia elections, Larry Sabato shifted the Arizona seat, currently held by Democrat Mark Kelly, from Likely Democrat to Toss Up.

Because of the critical nature of the race, the GOP primary has now taken on even more importance, which leads to one of the men currently in the race, Jim Lamon.

As a declared candidate for the U.S. Senate seat in Arizona, Lamon has claimed that he will put America First and stand up to Communist China. But when it comes to his business practices, he clearly has no intention of putting his money where his mouth is.

Lamon has said that he will “defeat the Communist Party,” and that as a Senator, he will see to it “that goods coming into the U.S. are not made with cheap slave labor, unfettered environmental pollution, and unsafe working conditions.” He has even claimed that his own company, Depcom Power, focuses on buying “American First.”

“We don’t buy Chinese products,” Lamon said in May of 2021. But the records tell a different story.

Yet as recently as October of 2020, Depcom had imported several million kilograms of solar supplies from a Chinese company called HT Solar; accounting for just over three-fourths of all trade with Depcom. HT Solar is far and away Depcom’s largest trading partner. It is a subsidiary of HT-SAAE, which is entirely owned and operated by the Communist Chinese government, operating under the China Aerospace Science Technology Corporation (CASC), a government-owned enterprise that was first established in 1956.

In addition to exporting solar power supplies to international buyers such as Depcom, CASC specializes in the manufacturing of ballistic missiles, precision-guided bombs, and other large-scale weaponry. CASC’s marketing arm for missile technology is the China Precision Machinery Import and Export Corporation (CPMIEC).

Germany Advises Against Moderna Shot for Young People Over Rare Heart Condition

German health authorities followed other European nations on Wednesday in advising against the use of Moderna’s Spikevax COVID-19 vaccine for people under the age of 30 after evidence emerged the shot has a slightly higher risk of cardiac inflammation.

A German advisory committee, known as STIKO, cited findings similar to a study published on Nov. 8 by France’s Epi-Phare, showing that vaccines using mRNA technology were associated with an increased risk of hospitalization for myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle), and pericarditis (inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart), in younger patients—with a slightly higher prevalence in those who received Moderna.

STIKO recommended that Germans in this age group should only receive the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine as it causes fewer cases of heart inflammations. The committee also recommended that pregnant women should be inoculated only with the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine, regardless of their age.

STIKO made no mention of the COVID-19 vaccines from AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson.

The German health officials adjusted their CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus vaccination guidance just one day after French health authorities also recommended the Pfizer jab over Moderna’s due to similar heart disease concerns. They stressed the risk of developing the heart condition is “very rare,” according to a translated statement posted on the French National Authority for Health (HAS).

The recommendations in Germany are based on new safety data from the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI), the country’s authority in charge of vaccines, and new international data.

Judge For Rittenhouse Trial Strikes Testimony From Prosecution’s Witness

The judge overseeing the Kyle Rittenhouse trial struck testimony from an FBI agent who captured infrared camera footage of Rittenhouse the night he shot three men.

Brandon Cramin, an FBI technician, testified that he captured footage of Rittenhouse as he flew above Kenosha in an airplane. However, Cramin refused to provide the plane’s tail number under cross-examination, leading Rittenhouse’s defense attorney to suggest that the FBI was withholding video evidence of the shooting.

Judge Bruce Schroeder threatened to strike the testimony at the time if the lawyers continued with “cloak and dagger stuff.” Cramin’s testimony was not live-streamed, unlike the rest of the trial, and his face was hidden from reporters.

“My understanding from the defense is, we have an agreement, I think essentially the court will inform the jury that [Cramin’s] testimony will be disregarded, and we’re not going to go back into that,” Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger, part of the prosecution, said.

The decision marks another blow to the prosecution’s case against Rittenhouse, who is charged with first-degree reckless homicide, first-degree intentional homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide, and lesser charges. Daily Caller Chief Video Director Richie McGinniss testified on Nov. 4 that Joseph Rosenbaum, who Rittenhouse shock and killed, attempted to attack Rittenhouse and wrestle away his firearm.

Gaige Grosskreutz, who Rittenhouse also shot, testified on Monday that he drew his gun on Rittenhouse before being shot. Grosskreutz contradicted himself multiple times while on the witness stand, eventually admitting that he believed Rittenhouse was in “physical danger” before he shot Anthony Huber.
