Having natural immunity doesn't prevent you from contracting Covid any more than NI to measles prevents you from contracting measles.

It just means your immune system will kill it off quickly before you become sick or contagious.

The difference between the two is that we weren't constantly testing people with NI to measles after being in contact with the disease.

You WILL test positive; there's even the possibility it will detect a LIVE virus and not a dead one; it just WONT be one that will make you sick or contagious.
