'As Coroner, I must aver,
I've thoroughly examined her:
And she's not only merely dead;
She's really most sincerely dead.'
--------—-
This scene has always bothered me. Before
the approach of the coroner, Glinda the Good
informs Dorothy that it had been reported that
someone had dropped a house on the wicked
witch of the East. Showing the extended lower
legs of the witch, wearing the Ruby Slippers,
Glinda intones, 'And here you are, and that's all that's left of the wicked witch of the East.'
Then when East's sister, the Wicked Witch of the West, goes to collect said slippers, the form of East's lower extremities STILL protrude from beneath the house.
Question: when could the Coroner have 'thoroughly examined her?'
Answer: 'I didn't,' says the Coroner, 'but that's politics. Cha-Ching!'
Question: When did Fauci isolate the virus that caused the Covid=19 flu?
Answer: 'I didn't,' says Tony, 'but that's politics. Cha-ching!'
