NIH knew Wuhan lab enhanced bat coronavirus years earlier than officials testified, grantee says

EcoHealth Alliance documentation of 2018 submission casts doubt on agency's representation to Congress.

A taxpayer-funded nonprofit is contradicting the National Institutes of Health on when it notified the agency that China's Wuhan Institute of Virology unintentionally enhanced a bat coronavirus, raising the possibility that top public health officials made false statements to Congress.

EcoHealth Alliance spokesperson Robert Kessler shared a screenshot from its account on the NIH eRA Commons website for grantees, showing it submitted its "year four" report April 13, 2018.

Kessler also provided Just the News with a video recording of EcoHealth searching its NIH account for the bat research grant application's serial number and principal investigator, Peter Daszak, the president and public face of EcoHealth. (Only the account owner can do this, Kessler said.)

When the Research Performance Progress Report menu is pulled up for the "budget start date" entry of June 1, 2018, it shows the report's due date was April 15 of that year and that it was "submitted to agency." The "routing history" tab shows chief of staff Aleskei Chmura submitted it two days earlier.

File

02 eRA Commons Year 4 Report Submission Date.pdf

NIH Director Francis Collins and National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci have repeatedly told Congress the agency didn't fund "gain-of-function" research, which makes viruses more dangerous.

But last month Principal Deputy Director Lawrence Tabak told Rep. James Comer, House Oversight Committee ranking Republican, that the Wuhan lab unexpectedly made mice "sicker" with a modified bat coronavirus than with the original.

He passed the buck to EcoHealth for allegedly hiding the results of this "limited experiment" for more than three years, violating the terms of the grant, which required the nonprofit to "immediately" report any "one log [tenfold] increase in growth."

The results were only reported in EcoHealth's fifth and final progress report to NIH two months earlier "in response to NIH's compliance enforcement efforts," Tabak claimed, and EcoHealth had been ordered to submit all unpublished data from its grant-funded work within 5 days.

Kessler said he made the video recording of the search for the report's submission date "just a couple weeks ago so that we could prove our claims." He said the NIH incorrectly lists 2020 as the submission date of its year-four report.

CCP Passes Historic Resolution Elevating Xi Jinping’s Standing

China’s leader Xi Jinping cemented his authority on Nov. 11 by directing the ruling Chinese Communist Party to approve a historic resolution that sought to place Xi as an equal among the most influential figures in the regime’s history.

“Establishing Xi Jinping’s core position to the Central Committee and the entire Party,” as well as the “guiding role” of Xi Jinping ideology, “has decisive significance to pushing the Chinese nation toward a grand rejuvenation,” senior Party officials said at the end of a four-day, closed-door meeting of more than 300 elite Party members in Beijing, according to a readout from the state media.

The resolution approved on Nov. 11 was the third of its kind that the regime has adopted during its 100-year history, effectively placing Xi alongside two of his most powerful predecessors: Mao Zedong, the communist regime’s first leader, and Deng Xiaoping, who oversaw the relaxation of some of the rigid central planning that allowed the Chinese economy to recover in the late 1970s.

At the meeting, known as the Sixth Plenum, Xi, who has now presided over the regime for nearly a decade, was credited for creating his own school of thought, which officials praised as the “essence” of “contemporary Marxism” and as the “spirit of the Chinese nation.”

Xi is expected to secure another five-year term in 2022 during the 20th National Party Congress, a move that would break a near-three-decade tradition of limiting Party leaders to just two terms.

Over the past several months, Xi has overseen an escalating political and economic reform campaign that has touched on an array of sectors across Chinese society, a move experts say served as one of the steps for him to secure his bid for another term.

The end-of-meeting communique was in part an effusive tribute to Xi. It said the Party under his leadership had “defeated a series of major risks and challenges” and had advanced the country toward a “historical transformation”—the examples it gave include Xi’s sweeping anti-corruption campaign, the remaking of Hong Kong, and the regime’s “dominant position” regarding Taiwan.

The more than 7,000-word-long text divided the Party’s history into four phases, with Xi defined as the key leader in the regime’s “new era” as the Party moves past its first 100 years, having turned a century old earlier in 2021. This section outlining the final phase was longer than the previous three sections combined.

Party delegates unanimously voted in favor of the resolution with a show of hands, video footage from state broadcaster CCTV shows.

Yeau-tarn Lee, a Taiwanese scholar on national development and contemporary China, said such an outcome isn’t surprising under the regime’s rule, where “only one voice can be heard.”

“No one dares to raise objections,” he told The Epoch Times.

While the sole emphasis in the meeting appears to be about “the glorious accomplishments of the CCP,” the communique shows some signs of anxiety among the Party’s top leadership, according to Lee, citing the officials’ call for unity and for the Party to “not forget the heart it once started.”

The Party is now in a tight spot.

Domestically, Xi faces an energy crisis, rising commodity prices, financial woes in China’s housing sector, and a sagging economy. Outside of China’s borders, there’s growing international pressure challenging the regime’s repression in Hong Kong and Xinjiang, as well as scrutiny over its alleged coverup of the pandemic origins.

“The main point is that the communist party will not give up leadership, and at the core of it is Xi Jinping,” Lee said.

Hunter Biden leaves NYC as gallery cancels plan to let the public see his paintings

Hunter Biden checked out of a Manhattan hotel Thursday following a party to celebrate his solo art show — as controversy over the $500,000 price tags on some of his paintings apparently killed a plan to open the exhibit to the public.

The first son didn’t comment as he left the Greenwich Hotel carrying his 1-1/2-year-old son, Beau, behind a pair of Secret Service agents shortly before noon.

Wife Melissa Cohen emerged wearing a long red dress, black high-heeled boots and a full-length, mustard-colored coat.

The night before, the novice, self-taught artist joined about 60 guests — including President Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens — at the Georges Berges Gallery in Soho, where Hunter Biden’s show, “The Journey Home,” opened on Oct. 23 by appointment only.

Curtains hung in the storefront windows kept outsiders from observing the event, although a videographer was spotted recording Hunter Biden and his family, along with daughter Maisy Biden, get escorted inside by gallery owner Georges Berges on Wednesday evening.

A two-person video crew also recorded the scene as Hunter Biden and his wife left around 9 p.m.

Last month, Mother Jones reported that a documentary crew roamed around the earlier opening of Hunter Biden’s art show in Los Angeles and the Daily Mail posted a video clip that showed a camera operator standing on a pedestal and another wearing a portable rig.

It’s unclear who’s behind the planned documentary and when or how it’s set for release.

The Soho show is scheduled to run through Monday and the gallery planned to allow the public to view it starting Thursday, the New York Times reported last week.

Jake Sullivan: AUKUS agreement to share nuclear sub technology a 'big bet' but reward for Australia being a 'strong friend'

United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan says the AUKUS agreement was “a big bet” but one which rewards Australia for being a "strong friend and ally and partner".

The AUKUS alliance is “a big bet” but one which rewards Australia for being a trusted "strong friend and ally and partner," says United States National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan.

Mr Sullivan made the remarks during the 2021 Lowy Lecture where he outlined "five steps" to enable the United States to deal with the challenges of international and domestic politics with “force and vigour”.

Acknowledging that the decision to share nuclear-propulsion technology with Australia was a "big bet" Mr Sullivan emphasised that "trust" led to the decision.

“The President wanted to say not just to Australia, but to the world, that if you are a strong friend and ally and partner, and you bet with us, we will bet with you.

“And we will bet with you with the most advanced, most sensitive technology we have. Because we trust you, we believe in you.”

With Frank Lowy named Lowy institute - Larry silverstein's buddy

Lowy institute

Fifty days before 9/11, Larry Silverstein's Silverstein Properties and Frank Lowy's Westfield America secured a 99-year lease on World Trade Center Buildings One, Two, Four and Five. Silverstein already owned Building Seven, aka the Salomon building. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey handed over control of the World Trade Center to Silverstein and Lowy on July 24, 2001, an "historic" agreement and "one of the largest privatization initiatives in history."

Lowy leased the shopping concourse area called the Mall at the World Trade Center, made up of approximately 427,000 square feet of retail floor space. Silverstein and Westfield America insured the complex for $3.55 billion, but after the attacks of September 11 lodged a claim for $7.1 billion on the premise that each plane collision constituted a separate act of terrorism, doubling the payout. Most people know about "Lucky" Larry Silverstein's part in 9/11 and his dubious connections to Binyamin Netanyahu et al, but not much has been reported on Lowy, so let's have a look.

Frank Lowy is a Hungarian Jew who arrived in Palestine in 1945 to fight with the Haganah terrorist organisation in the Israeli "War of Independence", later joining Israel's Golani Brigade which was created in February 1948. In 1952 he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he started building shopping centers, before going on to work in investment banking in London, New York and Los Angeles. He co-founded the Westfield Group, which he still chairs. According to Wikipedia, "Westfield currently has interests in total assets worth A$41 billion, representing 121 shopping centres in four countries with over 10 million square meters of retail space. It is the world's largest retail property group by equity market capitalization". In California alone, he has overseen Westfield's regional growth from 6 shopping centers to at least 59. At $3.8 billion, he's ranked #2 in Forbes.Com's list of Australia and NZ's richest individuals - one of three men, all Jewish, who make up Australia's wealthiest elites - and by the same standard is the 174th richest man in the world.

Lowy's fondness for banking is not limited to the U.S. He's a board member of the Reserve Bank of Australia, Australia's central bank, which is the Australian version of the American Federal Reserve system and issuer of Australian banknotes. Lowy served a ten year term as director of the RBA.

Frank the Zionist is not at all disinterested in world politics. In 2001 he was the Associate International Chairman of the Israel Democracy Institute, and in 2003 he set up the Lowy Institute for International Policy, an international think tank devoted to foreign affairs, a meddlesome endeavor which won him the Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship in 2005 (aptly enough it was Wilson who signed the Federal Reserve Act). That same year, the Institute moved into its permanent home in Sydney’s CBD which was formally opened by Australia’s Prime Minister and Lowy's good mate, John Howard. Lowy joined Howard and Bill Clinton on a romantic "evening Sydney Harbour cruise" when Clinton visited Australia in 1996 (source), and is the "dubious donor" of approximately $100,000 to Bill's William J. Clinton Foundation. One of Lowy's many lawyers is Robert Bennett, who defended Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky fiasco.

Federal Judge Orders DOJ to Stop Extracting Data From James O’Keefe’s Phones After FBI Raid

A federal judge on Thursday ordered the DOJ to stop extracting data from James O’Keefe’s phones after the FBI raided his home.

Last Friday, the FBI conducted a raid of two New York addresses of people connected to Project Veritas as part of an investigation on how Ashley Biden’s diary was made public shortly before the 2020 election.

In October 2020, Ashley Biden contacted the feds and reported several items were stolen in a burglary, including her diary.

Project Veritas never published pages of Ashley Biden’s diary, however, another conservative site did.

The FBI used Ashley Biden’s diary as an excuse to raid O’Keefe’s home and intimidate him since he’s exposing the truth about voter fraud and Covid vaccines.

James O’Keefe’s New York home was raided by FBI agents on Saturday morning in a stunning attack on the First Amendment and free press.

United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York Analisa Torres, a Barack Obama appointee ordered Biden’s Justice Department to stop extracting date from O’Keefe’s phones:

  1. By November 12, 2021, the Government shall confirm via email that it has paused its extraction and review of the contents of Petitioner O’Keefe’s phones;

  2. By November 16, 2021, the Government shall provide the Court with its response to Petitioners’ motion;

  3. By November 19, 2021 Petitioners shall provide the Court with their reply, if any.

UK Considering Banning Anyone Over 65 From Public Spaces Without Covid Booster

The UK health secretary Sajid Javid says that he cannot rule out the possibility that people over-65s who have not had a covid booster jab could be denied access to public spaces, including public transport and restaurants, at some point.

Insisting that the Government was not looking at the measure just “yet”, Javid said he could not rule out the measure being introduced at a later date.

Javid made his comments during a Sky News interview on Wednesday when he was asked to react to the introduction of such a policy in France.

MSM reports: A Downing Street source later said the policy was not being actively pursued but added that the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic meant few potential measures could be ruled out.

The comments come amid a tussle between ministers and Tory backbenchers about the possibility of bringing in Covid passports. Boris Johnson announced plans for only those who have been twice jabbed to be allowed to enter venues with large crowds, but they are being held in reserve in case the Covid situation deteriorates.

Asked about France’s booster vaccines policy, Mr Javid said: “We’re not looking at that yet. We are very focused on our booster programme, as you would imagine.

“Over 10.6 million boosters, I think, throughout the UK so far already, a record number of bookings, many people coming forward.

“I think in due course we will have to look at what constitutes vaccination. But at this point, the most important thing is that anyone that’s eligible gets out there and gets their booster.”

Asked whether that meant the policy could be introduced in future, Mr Javid said: “I can’t rule that out. And I think that we know now that the vaccines do wane and it is important that those vaccines, where it’s necessary… that those people get a top-up. But I think it’s something that we have to keep under review.”

Booster jabs, a third Covid vaccine dose, are being offered to those aged over 50 or in vulnerable groups.

There has been concern in recent weeks that not enough people who are eligible are coming forward to claim their boosters, with uptake slower than for the first two doses of the Covid jabs.

People have to wait six months from their second dose before being allowed to take their booster jab, though the Government has tweaked the rules to make this easier in recent months.

Evidence Of Potential Election Fraud Illegally DESTROYED In 56 GA Counties But Secretary of State Doesn’t Care

At least 56 counties in Georgia have destroyed most or all of Dominion Voting System‘s automatically created ballot images in violation of state and federal ballot retention laws, VoterGA reported.

“These violations are yet another glaring reason why Georgians cannot trust the Secretary of State’s office,” said Garland Favorito, co-founder of VoterGA. “We desperately need a multi-county audit of the 2020 election to resolve these serious problems before 2022.”

VoterGA’s investigation also discovered that former State Election Director Chris Harvey violated state and federal laws when he told county election clerks that they could delete original ballot images from in-person voting.

In an email to Harvey, an election official asked if it was “ok to clean the memory cards” to use them for a new purpose, or if “they need to stay loaded for some legal reason.”

“Yes, go ahead and reuse the memory cards,” Harvey responded.

Heather Mullins, an investigative reporter at Real America’s Voice, shared a picture of the email conversation.

Federal law mandates that election clerks store ballots and ballot images for 22 months, while state law mandates a 24-month storage period.

Despite this systematic violation of state and federal election laws, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger told Americans to drop their concerns and recognize that “when you lose, you lose,” Business Insider reported.

“We have safe and secure elections,” Raffensperger told MSNBC. “It’s not helpful for either party, I think either party needs to look at what they’re saying and just realize that when you lose, you lose.”

“Accept the facts that you have lost and move on. If you want to run again, by all means,” Raffensperger said. “But accept the results.”

Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia requested the ballot images through the state’s Open Records Request Act, according to the group’s press release.

VoterGA asked for ballot images from all 159 of the state’s counties, but 74 have failed to provide the original 2020 ballot images.

Of the 74 counties, 18 remain non-compliant with VoterGA’s lawful request under the ORR Act.

Six counties said that they have complied with VoterGA’s request, but the group said it has not received the ballot images. VoterGA worries that these images, even if received, “may also be incomplete or recount images only.”

The remaining 12 counties have offered to comply with VoterGA’s request if the group pays “exorbitant fees for images that most counties provided for around $25-$50.”

At least one county demanded $1,700 to produce ballot images from the 2020 election, which VoterGA called “too unnecessarily expensive to comply with ORR law.”

Of the 56 counties that responded to VoterGA’s request, six confirmed their failure to keep any ballot images from the 2020 election, 22 stored recount images but deleted the original images, and 20 had kept only a fraction of the original ballot images.

Dominion Voting Systems automatically creates and stories ballot images from in-person voting on “compact flash memeory cards.”

“The cards or drives are then manually uploaded to the county’s Election Management Server,” VoterGA explained in the press release. “Some densely populated

counties also use high speed scanners that automatically transfer images directly to the EMS.”

Paul Keating calls British PM Boris Johnson a 'COCONUT head' and the UK 'a theme park sliding into the Atlantic' as he ridicules every Western leader about their dealings with China

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been mocked as a 'coconut head' by legendary former Australian leader Paul Keating.

Mr Keating, who was PM Down Under in 1991-96, ridiculed Britain's ability to make any substantial military contribution to containing the rise of China.

He was asked in a Q&A with the National Press Club if he could see Britain 'coming to Australia's rescue' in the Asia-Pacific.

'Look, poor old coconut head Johnson,' Mr Keating replied dismissively, in reference to the British

'Talk about fantasies, Britain took its major battleships out of East Asia in 1904. The idea that the British could have any important role here is…

'Well, the Chinese have 63 submarines, how long do you think that aircraft carrier of there's would have lasted in a real dust-up? Can Britain help us here? No.

'The one state that was able to help us was France and we rudely turned out back on them.'

In another part of his speech, Mr Keating again took a shot at 'you know, our old friend the British prime minister', before he was reminded of Mr Johnson's name.

'Britain is like an old theme park sliding into the Atlantic compared to modern China. China is going to be huge,' he said.

Mr Keating also blasted current Australian PM Scott Morrison over the decision to build nuclear submarines, saying they will be impotent compared with Chinese naval power by the time they are ready in about 2040.

He said the boats will be so outdated that using them would be like throwing toothpicks at a mountain.

'Eight submarines against China when we get the submarines in 20 years' time, it'll be like throwing a handful of toothpicks at a mountain,' he said.

Rep. Jeffries, Criminal Justice Reform Advocate, Blasted on Twitter After Saying ‘Lock Up’ Kyle Rittenhouse

Social media users called out Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) after he called for Kyle Rittenhouse’s incarceration on Wednesday afternoon.

“Lock up Kyle Rittenhouse and throw away the key,” tweeted Jeffries while Rittenhouse’s trial was airing live on television.

However, Jeffries is a critic of America’s criminal justice system, and has often criticized the country for jailing too many citizens.

“End. Mass. Incarceration. Defund The Prison Industrial Complex,” Jeffries tweeted in June 2020.

As recent as March 2021, Jeffries called mass incarceration a “stain on our democracy.”

Many social media users quickly pointed out the hypocrisy of Jeffries wanting Rittenhouse to be jailed.

Scott Morrison blasts Daniel Andrews' 'extreme' laws to give him sweeping new powers to manage pandemics

Daniel Andrews hopes to pass new laws allowing him to manage pandemics

The laws allow premier to declare a pandemic for an unlimited period of time

The health minister can make 'any order' such as lockdowns and mask-wearing

Scott Morrison said the timing was confusing as Australia opens up after Covid

Scott Morrison has criticised Daniel Andrews' proposed laws that would give him sweeping new powers to manage pandemics.

The laws, which have passed Victoria's lower house and will be debated in the upper house next week, would give the premier the power to declare a pandemic for an unlimited period of time even if there are no cases of a virus.

The move would let the health minister make 'any order' he deems reasonably necessary' which could include lockdowns, vaccine mandates, enforced mask-wearing and much more, with fines of up to $454,350 for rule-breakers.

The Prime Minister said Premier's bid to secure more power was 'confusing' when Australia is finally opening up after 18 months of Covid-19 restrictions - and said Aussies want governments to stop interfering in their lives.

'Victorians have gone through the worst of the pandemic… I can understand their frustration where governments are seeking to have more involvement in their lives,' he told radio 3AW on Friday.

'We're going in the opposite direction… Australians have had enough of governments telling them what to do.

'That's been necessary for a couple of years but we're coming out of that now and I think the timing of this is confusing.'

But Mr Morrison refused to criticise any harder, saying he would leave that job to the Victorian Opposition.

'Well, look, I'm always respectful of the Federation, and I am respectful. I don't give lectures to through this pandemic. I respect the Federation,' he said.

'I work with all the premiers and chief ministers but the key message about this is it's your call, your responsibility and don't expect the federal government to go and argue your case when it's not a policy that we have.'

It comes after Victoria's top barristers called for Mr Andrews to delay and wind back the proposed laws.
