what's funny is that housing prices are very high in metro areas in WA
not everybody wants to leave
i'm getting nice little notes from a variety of real estate agents pointing out recent sales, etc
hot market in Seattle
suspect blackrock is looking for housing tracts, especially new houses,
individual homes are harder to handle - doing reno etc
but don't really know
prolly true in some areas
e g, where there are a lot of little businesses that weren't fancy, were in a row on a busy urban street
those will likely get snatched up by bigger companies
problem in really blue areas is that small businesses are being ruined but too many owners are foolish libs. Can't save them bc they are still buying in, despite everything. There are hard lessons to be learned.
