Top Maoist leader Prashant Bose alias Kishan Da, who was carrying a bounty of Rs 1 crore on his head, has been arrested in Jharkhand along with his wife Sheela Marandi, a senior police officer said on Friday.
Marandi is also a member of the CPI (Maoist).

City police have arrested an alleged Maoist from Jharkhand at Ernavoor on Wednesday.
Shukkar came to Chennai after fleeing Jharkhand. He has several cases filed against him there, including one under Section 17 of the Criminal Law Amendment Act. Other cases that are registered against him include murder, attempt to murder and arson.

Father Stan Swamy worked towards Maoist agenda in garb of helping tribals
National Investigation Agency (NIA) has opposed the bail plea of 84-year-old Jesuit priest Father Stan Swamy who is accused of carrying out Maoist activities and is arrested in the Elgar Parishad case registered at Pune.
In the affidavit, NIA contended that Swamy along with the co-accused in the case were "active members of the banned organisation of Communist Party of India [CPI] (Maoist) and ere deeply knitted with their unlawful activities.
