My own take on it is , we're tards, no matter how smart we are, so we cant understand it, no matter how hard we try. Thus I am willing to identify something way greater than us as a sort of blind faith entity but there is no validation, no double-blind scientific proof and I am ok with that. Something created us and all of this. I thank that entity for creating me and all of this.

I literally spent 20 years of my adult life studying science and all of the different belief systems people subscribe to. What I can believe is that the cambian fish became terrestrial, I can believe in paleolithic man, natural selection, and at some point, I can tie in the idea that man developed a consciousness and this whole story told in the Bible, and other texts, could have happened. Man is fallible, language changes over time, and the whole story could be true, but from a different perspective. The big bang could have indeed happened at the hand of an omnipotent entity. Could have. Now we get to the blind faithโ€ฆ.

Where did the first ounce of matter and first quanta of energy come from to make all of this happen??

That is what I acknowledge as the Creator and I have no idea what form an entity like that exists as. At some point, I am just a tard and it is beyond my reconciliation.

Because of the extreme unknown, it is still all complimentary if you believe that there is something at the center of it that you will never be capable of understanding.

I am ok with tarding out on this subject. It exceeds my computational horsepower.

We are on the cusp of a reality where you might not know you anymore. In other words, this whole meta movement and a virtual life may indeed cause some people to be kept alive by an algorithym in which case, you may not be able to wake up. But right now, as long as you do not have the 3d glasses on and you can see wildlife and walk into a brick wall, you can conclude that you are indeed still conscious.

But the reality that you speak of is coming soon and some people will not realize that they are alive in a virtual world. This is the scary part. This is where you have to control the machines, you cannot enter the world that the machines create.

I chock this up to man before Adam and Eve where we had a consciousness, so indeed, the monsters resultant from procreating with the Nephilim could have potentially been a reality.

Life span decreased from the days of the Old Testament to the New Testament.

At some point, Christ came, and became the only path to Redemption and Everlasting life.

I will read the link that you posted anon. In general, it was a multi-chapter story which concluded with Redemption through belief in the Savior, Jesus Christ. That is the conventional evangelical belief which I do not question. I go along with it and accept the story blind because I am a tard and that is what I have been told to believe. There is no risk. Christ is either going to absolve me of my sins and give me everlasting life or if it was not true, I will be ashes to ashes, dust to dust. I am ok with that. Love the Lord, love my wife and family, and hopefully, the greatest story ever told is true.
