Long ago, like 30 years ago, I actually did feel this way. I was kind of a news junkie back then. But then I started to see how the News was slanted to the Left. Then about 5 yeas ago, I noticed that they were outright lying. It was a gradual awakening for me.
I'm 60 now and I see 30 year old Libtards who are clueless. I hope it doesn't take them 25 to 30 years to wake up. Our Country will be completely destroyed by then.

The only suggestion that I can make is to do what I have been doing. I avoid all conversations that involve politics. Keep the conversations light. Keep in contact but not too close. And pray, pray, pray. God keeps His promises. If you did your job to the best of your ability as their parent, trust God that he has them in His care. I believe that they will come around some day. Being a good parent is one of the hardest jobs that there is and it's not to be taken lightly. It sounds to me as if you have been a good parent, so trust God that He will not fail you or your kids.
I have considered that as well.
If I don't have that much time left with my kid, then I don't want to spend that time arguing with him about politics and social issues.
When we get together for holidays, we drink alcohol and play board games.
I just want to enjoy the little bit of time that we still have together. If he gets really sick from the vax, it will break my heart. But I am mentally preparing myself for the day.
I always amazes me when people don't believe the Bible but they believe all kinds of other hogwash.
I'm not into pot, but son and spouse anon are. So yes, that too.
When my son told me he got the vax, the first thing I said was, oh, well, guess I'm not getting any grandkids.
And given the state of his brain, sadly, inwardly, I actually considered that that might not actually be a bad thing.
Management never really knows what's happening in the trenches and they are usually too arrogant to ask.
There are 2 rules that I try to follow on a consistent basis to keep myself safe.
