FBI's email servers hacked, cyberattack sends threatening emails to over 100,000 people

The email servers of the Federal Bureau of Investigation were hacked on Friday night. The hackers were able to infiltrate the FBI's email system and send out threatening spam emails to over 100,000 people.

The FBI acknowledged on Saturday that its email servers were hacked, but noted the exploited systems were "taken offline quickly."

"The attackers used legitimate FBI systems to conduct the attack, using email addresses scraped from a database for the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN), among other sources," technology blog Engadget reported. "Over 100,000 addresses received the fake emails in at least two waves."

The email sender was a cybersecurity division of the Department of Homeland Security, and the subject line reads: "Urgent: Threat actor in systems."

The hacker signed off as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Cyber Threat Detection and Analysis Group, which hasn't existed for years.

Spamhaus Project — an email spam watchdog group that provides "real-time actionable data on spam, phishing, botnets, and malware sources" — reported on the attack on Saturday.

"We have been made aware of 'scary' emails sent in the last few hours that purport to come from the FBI/DHS. While the emails are indeed being sent from infrastructure that is owned by the FBI/DHS (the LEEP portal), our research shows that these emails are fake," the non-profit threat intelligence organization wrote on Twitter. "These fake warning emails are apparently being sent to addresses scraped from ARIN database. They are causing a lot of disruption because the headers are real, they really are coming from FBI infrastructure. They have no name or contact information in the .sig. Please beware!"

DEA Stopped Saying ‘Mexican Cartel’ To ‘Appease’ Mexico, Recently Retired Agency Officials Say

Recently-retired Drug Enforcement Administration officials who spoke with the Daily Caller News Foundation said that the agency directive to stop using the term “Mexican cartel” came from the Biden administration.

The two retired officials said that the Department of Justice (DOJ) took control of the messaging to cool relations with the Mexican government.

“They didn’t want us to say Mexican cartels,” one of the retired officials told the DCNF. “I think they wanted just to say transnational criminal organizations because I don’t think they wanted to lay all the blame on Mexico, they thought it was misleading.”

The directive for Drug Enforcement Administration officials to not use the term “Mexican cartel” came directly from the Biden administration to ease relations with the Mexican government, two recently retired DEA officials told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

The DCNF exclusively obtained an email in August that instructed DEA officials to “now avoid saying ‘Mexican cartel'” when speaking with the media. The email was sent as drugs continued to surge across the U.S.-Mexico border.

One recently-retired DEA official told the DCNF that when the new administration came in, the Department of Justice (DOJ) required DEA to submit news interview requests for approval. The retired official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that the DOJ declined many of the national news requests on top of the language guidance, but eventually eased up and allowed some to do local interviews where he used the term “Mexican drug cartel” and called each by its name.

“They didn’t want us to say Mexican cartels,” the retired official said. “I think they wanted just to say transnational criminal organizations because I don’t think they wanted to lay all the blame on Mexico, they thought it was misleading. But they didn’t give us a lot. They weren’t very transparent with certain things.”

Counter-Terror Police Investigating Deadly Car Explosion at UK Women’s Hospital

Merseyside Police have confirmed a fatality following a car explosion at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, with Counter-Terrorism Police now leading the investigation.

“We can confirm that at 10.59 a.m. today (Sunday, 14 November) police were called to reports of a car explosion at the Women’s Hospital in Liverpool city centre,” the force confirmed in an official statement, following much speculation about the blast.

“Unfortunately, we can confirm that one person has died and another has been taken to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries, which thankfully are not life threatening,” they added, explaining that their current understanding is that the vehicle at the centre of the incident “was a taxi which pulled up at the hospital shortly before the explosion occurred.”

“We are keeping an open mind as to what caused the explosion but given how it has happened, out of caution, Counter Terrorism Police are leading the investigation supported by Merseyside Police,” the force confirmed — but stressed that the it “has not been declared a terrorist incident at this stage”.

They reiterated that it is “out of caution” that Counter-Terrorism detectives are leading the investigation, with the authorities working to “try to understand the circumstances behind the explosion.”

BLM leader who vowed 'bloodshed' abruptly leaves interview when confronted by Fox News host: 'No, you're a coward!'

Black Lives Matter activist Hawk Newsome, co-founder of BLM for the greater New York City area, abruptly left an interview on Fox News Saturday after "Unfiltered" host Dan Bongino confronted him for allegedly threatening violence.

What is the background?

After a reportedly heated meeting with New York City Mayor-elect Eric Adams (D), Newsome foreshadowed what would happen if the New York Police Department resurrects its controversial plainclothes anti-crime units, which were disbanded last year.

"If they think they are going back to the old ways of policing, then we're going to take to the streets again," Newsome said Wednesday after the meeting. "There will be riots, there will be fire, and there will be bloodshed."

Adams, in fact, has promised to resurrect the units. "I'm going to put in place a plainclothes gun unit. We must zero in on gun violence in our community," he said on Thursday.

What happened on Fox News?

The 10-minute interview was mostly cordial. But the exchange went off the rails when Bongino offered Newsome the opportunity to disavow responding to Adams' plan with violence.

"You don't want riots, right? You don't want riots, correct? And violence? I just want to get you on the record," Bongino said.

"I'm going on the record right now. As Dr. [Martin Luther] King said, riots are the voice of the unheard," Newsome responded. "It's a natural occurrence that if people continue to be traumatized and oppressed they will lash out."

Newsome then invoked the Boston Tea Party, and described it as a "riot."

"I'm not asking about the Boston Tea Party, Hawk," Bongino shot back. "I'm asking you a simple question: Do you condemn violence or not?"

Still not responding to the question directly, Newsome said he would not condemn violence per se because he believes in self-defense.

Bongino then asked once again.

"Do you condemn riots and burning down buildings after a police use-of-force incident you don't like?" he asked.

"No. What I'll say is: I understand when a police officer unjustifiably kills someone, why people lash out. I understand that completely," Newsome responded. "I'm not going to condemn, nor am I going to condone it."

"Isn't that cowardly?" Bongino fired back. "'I'm not going to condemn it, but I'm not going to condone it — so I don't want to take a stand'? … You seem to talk a lot of junk and then when I put you on the spot you won't answer a damn question. Do you condone violence or you condemn violence? You're all over the place. Just condemn violence and burning of buildings down. How hard is this?"

In response, Newsome invoked 9/11, and asked Bongino whether he supported responding to those terrorist attacks peacefully.

"OK, I'll give you this," Newsome said. "I don't condone it, I don't promote it, but I will not condemn it."

"Man, that's just cowardly, man. That's just cowardly," Bongino responded.

Newsome then abruptly left the interview, removing his ear piece and standing up from his chair.

"No, you're a coward!" Newsome said. "You're trying to bait me. I'm outta here. God Bless."

Trump Dossier Coverage ‘One of the Most Egregious Journalistic Errors’ in History, Admits Corporate Media.

Media organizations are taking aim at each other over the fake news reporting surrounding the Trump Russia dossier.

Axios, one of the leading D.C.-based corporate media outlets, has admitted that reporting surrounding the now infamous Trump-Steele dossier was “one of the most egregious journalistic errors in modern history,” in an article slamming news-media colleagues for the years of fake news reporting.

“…the media’s response to its own mistakes has so far been tepid,” wrote Sara Fischer on Sunday morning, as it becomes increasingly clear to the nation’s journalistic class that not only were they willingly duped for years, but that they have made almost no efforts to correct their outright falsehoods.

Axios also reports:

Outsized coverage of the unvetted document drove a media frenzy at the start of Donald Trump’s presidency that helped drive a narrative of collusion between former President Trump and Russia.

It also helped drive an even bigger wedge between former President Trump and the press at the very beginning of his presidency.

Driving the news: In wake of the key source’s arrest and further reporting on the situation, The Washington Post on Friday corrected and removed large portions of two articles.

The article also takes aim at CNN, MSNBC, Mother Jones, the Wall Street Journal, and others:

CNN and MSNBC did not respond to requests for comment about whether they planned to revisit or correct any of their coverage around the dossier

Mother Jones Washington bureau chief David Corn began reporting about the dossier prior to the 2016 election. Asked by Wemple whether he planned to correct the record, Corn said,” My priority has been to deal with the much larger topic of Russia’s undisputed attack and Trump’s undisputed collaboration with Moscow’s cover-up.”

Corn did not respond to a request to speak on the record with Axios.

The Wall Street Journal told Axios, “We’re aware of the serious questions raised by the allegations and continue to report and to follow the investigation closely.”

On Friday, The Washington Post removed massive portions of two articles published in March 2017 and February 2019.

The paper’s executive editor, Sally Buzbee, said the outlet could no longer stand by those elements of the story.

More corrections and retractions are expected.

The National Pulse was one of the very few news outlets to outright challenge ‘The Russia Lie’.

Pentagon Responds to Oklahoma National Guard’s Rejections of Vaccine Mandate

The U.S. Department of Defense indicated it will respond to Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt after his state’s National Guard suggested it would reject a Pentagon COVID-19 vaccine mandate for all service members.

“We are aware of the memo issued by the Oklahoma Adjutant General regarding COVID vaccination for Guardsmen and the governor’s letter requesting exemption. We will respond to the governor appropriately,” Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said in a statement to news outlets on late Saturday.

Without elaborating how the Defense Department (DOD) would respond, Kirby said Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin “believes that a vaccinated force is a more ready force,” and that it’s “why he has ordered mandatory vaccines for the total force, and that includes our National Guard, who contribute significantly to national missions at home and abroad.”

Kirby’s remarks came after the newly appointed Oklahoma National Guard commander, Army Brig. Gen. Thomas Mancino, issued a Nov. 11 memorandum indicating he would decline to implement the Pentagon’s vaccine mandate.

The first military vaccine mandate deadline is Nov. 2, although each branch has set different deadlines by which members should get the vaccine for the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, which causes the disease COVID-19. The Pentagon set a June 30, 2022, deadline for all Army reservists and the National Guard to get the shot, according to a news release from the federal Military Health System issued in September.

Mancino, in his memo, wrote, “I hereby order that no Oklahoma Guardsmen be required to take the COVID-19 Vaccine, notwithstanding any other Federal requirement.”

“Oklahoma Command’s will continue to process Federal vaccine waivers in accordance with DoD policy,” he added. “Additionally, no negative administrative or legal action will be taken against Guardsmen who refuse the COVID-19 Vaccine.”

Stitt, a Republican, previously asked Austin and other Pentagon leaders for waivers regarding the COVID-19 vaccine mandate, and he’s still waiting for a decision, Macino’s memo continued to say.

Florida Legislature, Big Business Water Down Ron DeSantis’s Anti-Mandate Proposal

The Florida legislature and big business have worked together this week to water down Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) anti-vaccine mandate proposal.

The DeSantis-ordered legislative special session, headed by establishment Republican Florida House Speaker Chris Sprowls (R) and President of the Florida Senate Wilton Simpson (R), will likely result in bowing to woke corporations that support Biden’s vaccine mandate on businesses with 100 or more employees.

The special session will unlikely hold corporations responsible for firing unvaccinated employees. Woke corporations have reportedly communicated to Florida Republicans that “they didn’t want to be told what they couldn’t do any more than they wanted the federal government to tell them what they had to do to keep their workplaces safe,” the Miami Herald reported Friday.

“I want to stand for freedom,’’ state Sen. Aaron Bean (R) of the Jacksonville area told the paper. “But there’s also the argument that if I own a small company, and I have underlying health conditions, and I want to make sure all those that interact with me are safe, are vaccinated, who are we to tell that small business owner what they can’t do?”

Though woke corporations would appear to prefer to not navigate state law that bans Biden’s mandate, many have done little to combat Biden’s order.

Such is the case with Nemours Children’s Health, which implemented a company-wide vaccine requirement as a “term of employment.” The deadline to comply with the requirement was October 6.

Woke opponents have another trick up their collective sleeves. According to Sen. Jeff Brandes (R) of St. Petersburg, corporations have reportedly lobbied state Republicans for liability protection, and Republicans seem open to the idea.

“Associated Industries of Florida, the hospital association, a lot of other associations and all of your large employers had an over-sized influence in helping clarify where Florida’s position should be on liability protection,’’ Brandes told the Herald.

Spain Saw Highest Suicide Numbers Ever Recorded in Year of Covid Lockdown

In 2020, the first year of the Wuhan virus pandemic, Spain recorded nearly 4,000 people taking their own lives — the highest number recorded since records began in 1906.

Cases of suicide increased by 7.4 per cent overall in 2020 compared to the prior year, for a total of 3,941 people taking their own lives — an average of eleven people per day and the leading cause of unnatural death.

Among children under the age of 15, the rate of suicide doubled in 2020. Elderly people over 80 also saw a 20 per cent increase in suicide for a total of 548 cases, Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports.

Broken down by sex, 2,930 men and 1,011 women took their own lives in 2020 — the first year in history Spain has seen more than a thousand women commit suicide.

Clinical psychologist Miguel Guerrero spoke to the newspaper about the effect the coronavirus pandemic and associated lockdowns and economic damage have had on people in Spain, saying that “the pandemic has affected the risk factors we already knew about and has threatened protective factors, such as social cohesion.”

Guerrero added that the government should approve prevention policies immediately, saying: “Covid is a storm that we have all gone through, but some on a yacht and others in a rowboat. The pandemic has not been democratic, it has affected the most vulnerable the most.”

Clinical psychologist Luis Fernando López called the data serious, particularly the increase in suicides among children.

He further said that the data “indicates that it is not true that the kids have handled the pandemic well. It is said but it is a lie. We see a lot of self-harm, emotional disorders, eating disorders, addictions, and suicidal ideation, thoughts about death are more common than they were before. I see it in consultation.”

Earlier this year, a British study claimed that nearly five times as many children died during the pandemic from suicide than were actually killed by the coronavirus.

Data by the Royal College of Psychiatrists released last year also claimed that the number of people with suicidal thoughts had tripled during coronavirus lockdowns.

UK tabloid cheers US hypersonic nukes in Germany, shows mushroom cloud over Moscow

UK papers are hyping the revival of a Cold War-era US artillery unit in Germany, supposed to be armed with ‘Dark Eagle’ hypersonic missiles that will be able reach Moscow in mere minutes, once they are developed.

‘Dark Eagle has landed’ proclaimed The Sun on Wednesday, originally reporting that the new US missiles could “blitz Russia” in just six minutes – before revising that to “21 minutes and 30 seconds” – along with a graphic showing Moscow being vaporized in a mushroom cloud.

The US did in fact reactivate the 56th Artillery Command at a ceremony in Germany earlier this week. The unit had been inactive since 1991. However, the fine print in The Sun article, as well as other British papers, notes that the command may have hypersonic missile capability when this technology is “fully developed and deployed,” supposedly sometime in 2023, according to the Pentagon.

Just a day before the 56th AC ceremony, the Pentagon announced that the very first “prototype hypersonic ground equipment” had been delivered to a stateside artillery unit. A battalion of the US Army’s 1st Corps located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington state received trucks, trailers, four erector launchers and other components of the Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW), but no missiles yet.

The name “Dark Eagle” comes from Rob Strider, the official in charge of the army’s hypersonic project office. The missile itself is being developed by the Alabama-based Dynetics, known for the Mother of All Bombs (MOAB), the Gremlin drone, some rocket engines and IT services. The principal weapon systems integrator will be Lockheed Martin, the company behind the controversial F-35 fighter jet project.

The hypersonic missile race kicked into high gear in October, after another UK outlet reported that China had tested such a weapon in August, catching the US by surprise. Beijing officially denied the claim, saying the test involved a spaceship instead. Meanwhile, Moscow has tested its own Zircon hypersonic missile, which the Russia military says is just about ready for operational use by its naval forces.

Germany’s Merkel Proclaims It Is ‘Duty’ of Citizens to Get Vaccinated

Chancellor Angela Merkel told the citizens of Germany that it is their “duty” to get vaccinated and compared the coronavirus pandemic to the alleged climate crisis.

Appearing alongside New Zealand’s Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern in a virtual meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum on Friday, Chancellor Merkel significantly ramped up her rhetoric on vaccines.

“You have the right to get vaccinated. But, to a certain extent, you also, as a member of society, have the duty to be vaccinated to protect yourself and to protect others,” she asserted in comments reported by Germany’s national broadcaster Deutsche Welle.

On Thursday, Germany recorded the highest number of cases since the pandemic began, with over 50,000 new cases being logged.

The rise in cases has also prompted the state of Saxony to impose lockdown measures on the unvaccinated, including banning them from restaurants, bars, public events, and sports facilities.

Other states in Germany’s federal system, which have comparable regional power to states in the United States of America, are expected to follow suit.

Continuing her push on Saturday, Chancellor Merkel said on her podcast that the current rate of vaccination is not sufficient “to build up adequate protection for all of us”, calling for a “national effort” to administer booster shots.

She also argued that a “threshold” number of cases should be instituted in order to impose further national lockdown measures should hospitals be overrun with coronavirus patients. The German leader did not specify whether she believes that closing down schools again would be necessary, in her opinion, to contain the spread of the virus.

In her meeting with Jacinda Ardern, Chancellor Merkel went on to compare the coronavirus to the alleged climate crisis, saying: “When you see the start of an exponential increase you have to act immediately.

“[C]limate change… also has exponential growth, and we have to act at a time when it is not at all visible how the numbers will grow.”

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart London in October, Baroness Claire Fox of Britain’s House of Lords warned that government will look to brand climate change as a “public health issue” in order to take more power away from the people.

“If a government realises that when public health is deployed as the spectre to frighten people then actually they can accumulate a lot of power for themselves without too much opposition,” Baronness Fox said.

Demonstrating the probability of the prediction coming to fruition, Britain’s Prince Charles told the United Nations COP26 summit in Glasgow earlier this month that climate change, like the coronavirus, represents a “cross-border threat” and therefore a “vast military-style campaign” is required globally to combat the alleged crisis.

Student suspended for saying there are ‘only two genders’… Files lawsuit against school…

EXETER — An Exeter High School freshman and his mother are suing the school district after he was suspended from playing in a football game for allegedly expressing his view there are “only two genders.”

The student’s suit was filed in Rockingham Superior Court through his attorney, Ian Huyett of Cornerstone Action, a nonprofit Christian advocacy organization.

The lawsuit alleges the student received a one-game suspension in September in violation of his constitutional right to free speech and the New Hampshire Bill of Rights because he expressed what the suit called his Catholic belief there are “only two genders,” male and female.

The school district policy, Cornerstone claims, penalizes students who, because of their religious beliefs, refuse to address non-binary students with their chosen pronouns to describe their gender identity.

“The student does not deny that he violated the Gender Nonconforming Students policy,” the lawsuit states. “He in fact denied, and will continue to deny, that any person can belong to a gender other than that of ‘male’ or ‘female.’ … The student will never refer to any individual person using plural pronouns such as ‘they,’ using contrived pronouns such as ‘ze,’ or with any similar terminology that reflects values which the student does not share.”

Under the high school’s policy, a “student has the right to be addressed by a name and pronoun that corresponds to the student’s gender identity.” It also contains a provision that states, “the intentional or persistent refusal to respect a student’s gender identity … is a violation of this policy.”

The lawsuit claims punishing the student under the school’s policy for gender nonconforming students is a violation of his First Amendment rights and a violation of the New Hampshire Bill of Rights. Cornerstone maintains EHS administrators did not have the authority to punish him because, as the lawsuit alleges, the content of his text messages in an off-campus conversation initiated by another student were the basis of his athletic suspension.

“These prohibitions restrict the expression of a particular opinion and are not supported by any material or substantial disruption to school operations,” the lawsuit states.

“Infuriating” Report Reveals “Breathtaking Cover-Up” of US Airstrike That Killed Syrian Civilians

“Devastating.” “Disturbing.” “Horrific.” “Shameful.”

Advocacy groups, human rights defenders, fellow reporters, and other readers of The New York Times were outraged Saturday after journalists Dave Philipps and Eric Schmitt published their investigation into a deadly 2019 U.S. airstrike in Syria and all that followed.

“This NYT report on the cover-up of U.S. war crimes in Syria should make your blood boil,” Medea Benjamin, co-founder of the anti-war group CodePink, tweeted Sunday. “The U.S. wantonly kills civilians, covers it up, and then tells other countries how ‘democracy’ works. Infuriating.”

Evan Hill, a journalist on the Times‘ visual investigations team, said that “this is a long, complicated story, but it’s one that touches on nearly every problem with the global U.S. air war. At every attempt, the military tried to cover it up.”

The Times began by detailing the scene over two years ago, when the U.S. military was using a drone near the Syrian town of Baghuz to search for Islamic State of Iraq and Syria militants, and encountered women and children along a river bank:

Without warning, an American F-15E attack jet streaked across the drone’s high-definition field of vision and dropped a 500-pound bomb on the crowd, swallowing it in a shuddering blast. As the smoke cleared, a few people stumbled away in search of cover. Then a jet tracking them dropped one 2,000-pound bomb, then another, killing most of the survivors.

It was March 18, 2019. At the U.S. military’s busy Combined Air Operations Center at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, uniformed personnel watching the live drone footage looked on in stunned disbelief, according to one officer who was there.

“Who dropped that?” a confused analyst typed on a secure chat system being used by those monitoring the drone, two people who reviewed the chat log recalled. Another responded, “We just dropped on 50 women and children.”

An initial battle damage assessment quickly found that the number of dead was actually about 70.

After the strike, civilian observers “found piles of dead women and children,” reported Philipps and Schmitt, who spent months investigating one of the largest civilian casualty incidents of the war against ISIS, relying on confidential documents, descriptions of classified reports, and interviews.

“A legal officer flagged the strike as a possible war crime that required an investigation. But at nearly every step, the military made moves that concealed the catastrophic strike,” the pair explained. “The death toll was downplayed. Reports were delayed, sanitized, and classified. United States-led coalition forces bulldozed the blast site. And top leaders were not notified.”

Gene Tate, a former U.S. Navy officer who worked on the Defense Department inspector general’s inquiry into the strike, told the Times that he criticized the lack of action and was ultimately forced out of his position.

“Leadership just seemed so set on burying this. No one wanted anything to do with it,” Tate said. “It makes you lose faith in the system when people are trying to do what’s right but no one in positions of leadership wants to hear it.”

According to Philipps and Schmitt:

This week, after The New York Times sent its findings to U.S. Central Command, which oversaw the air war in Syria, the command acknowledged the strikes for the first time, saying 80 people were killed but the airstrikes were justified. It said the bombs killed 16 fighters and four civilians. As for the other 60 people killed, the statement said it was not clear that they were civilians, in part because women and children in the Islamic State sometimes took up arms.

US officials say Iran government likely did not order drone attack on Iraqi PM: report

Iran likely did not greenlight the attack on Iraq's prime minister, current and former U.S. officials told NBC News.

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi survived an alleged assassination attempt earlier this month. The prime minister said that he survived explosions from a drone attack, though several of his security guards were injured in the event.

“The rockets of treason will not shake one bit of the steadfastness and determination of the heroic security forces,” al-Kadhimi tweeted after the attack. “I am fine and among my people. Thank God.”

Gen. Frank McKenzie at U.S. Central Command earlier this week claimed the attack was carried out by Iranian-backed militias.

Iran, for its part, has denied responsibility.

A senior U.S. official at the Department of Defense as well as former officials told NBC News the attack was likely not sanctioned by Iran, adding that the Iranian government doesn't have much control over militias in the area.

"It's fair to say that Iran does not have as much control over these groups since [Iranian Gen. Qassem] Soleimani was killed," a Defense official said, according to NBC.

Iraqi officials told Reuters on Nov. 8 that the attack was carried out by Iran-backed Shiite militias, Kataib Hezbollah and Asaib Ahl al-Haq, who were upset after losing power in Iraq's parliamentary elections last month. The groups have claimed that the election was fraudulent, though there has been no evidence provided to back this claim.

NBC reported that the drones used in the strike resemble those that have been used by Iranian-backed militias since July 2020, according to former officials and regional experts.

President Biden condemned the attack on the prime minister shortly after it occurred on Nov. 7 and ordered an investigation into the attack.

Israeli reporter detained on air in Turkey while covering couple held in custody

Channel 13’s Ali Mograbi says he was released after police made him delete photos; Israeli officials said to believe case will be resolved in coming days, or drag on for years

Israeli officials believe the coming 48 hours will be critical in seeking to secure the release of an Israeli couple detained in Turkey after photographing a presidential palace, according to television reports.

Channel 13 news says officials believe the saga will be resolved in the next two days, or the couple could remain in Turkish custody for years.

The network also reports that other Israelis have been snapping photos of the palace in Istanbul without incident.

A separate report by Channel 12 news quotes unnamed diplomatic officials saying they have been unable to get response from Turkey on the matter.

Earlier, a Channel 13 news reporter was detained while broadcasting live from Turkey. The reporter, Ali Mograbi, was later released.

Mograbi says it was noticeable that policemen were tailing him all day. When he started a live broadcast in the street they came and told him to stop. They then took him and made sure he deleted all the photos he had taken before releasing him and telling him not to leave the hotel, according to Mograbi.

Israel greenlights COVID vaccines for kids 5-11

The decision to approve vaccinations for kids comes after the vast majority of Health Ministry senior advisors approved their safety.

Israel has approved the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine for children ages five to 11-years-old, Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Ash said on Sunday evening.

The decision comes after the vast majority (73 out of 75) of Health Ministry senior advisors said last week that they believe the vaccines have a good safety profile and voted in favor of administering them to youth.

The efficacy data presented by Pfizer indicate a 91% efficacy in preventing disease in children aged 5-11 years in a controlled clinical study, Ash noted, adding that most experts believed that the benefits of vaccinating children outweigh the risks.

He added that the date on which the vaccines will begin to be administered will be decided in the coming days.

Israel ordered vaccines from Pfizer a couple of weeks ago and they are expected to arrive in the country later this week.

The US Food and Drug Administration approved the vaccine already and it has started to be administered in the States. Around a million children have already received their first dose.

Rep. Adam Schiff: ‘I don’t regret’ hyping discredited Steele dossier

Schiff says he 'couldn't have known' Steele's primary source had allegedly lied

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., said Sunday he has no regrets about hyping the infamous dossier by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele now that Special Counsel John Durham has further discredited the already debunked document.

Schiff, chair of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, had dramatically read some of the most explosive claims from the dossier into the Congressional Record during a March 2017 House Intelligence Committee hearing, including the now-debunked claim that the Trump 2016 presidential campaign colluded with Russia.

During an appearance on NBC News’ "Meet the Press" on Sunday, Schiff was confronted with some of his past claims hyping the validity of the dossier and was asked by host Chuck Todd whether he regrets "giving some credibility to the Steele dossier before anybody had been able to verify anything in it."

"I don't regret saying that we should investigate claims of someone who, frankly, was a well-respected British intelligence officer," Schiff responded. "And we couldn’t have known, of course, years ago that we would learn years later that someone who is a primary source lied to him."

"[Igor] Danchenko lied to Christopher Steele and then lied to the FBI," Schiff said. "He should be prosecuted. He is being prosecuted. And I'll tell you this, if he's convicted, he should not be pardoned the way Donald Trump pardoned people who lied to FBI agents, like Roger Stone and Mike Flynn. There ought to be the same standard in terms of prosecuting the liars. But I don't think there ought to be any pardon, no matter which way the lies cut."

Amid supply-chain logjams, infrastructure bill allocates $250M to target truck emissions at ports

Critics have attributed bottlenecks to draconian California emissions standards excluding much of U.S. trucking fleet from transporting cargo to and from ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the nation's two largest.

This week's Golden Horseshoe is awarded to the Biden Administration and members of Congress who voted for the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill, which includes $250 million for reducing truck emissions at port facilities, which have been crippled by record-breaking cargo backlogs for months.

Critics have attributed the bottlenecks to draconian California emissions standards that exclude up to half the nation's truckers from transporting shipping containers to and from the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, the nation's two busiest, which together account for close to one third of total U.S. shipping cargo volume.

The 2,000-plus page Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which President Biden is scheduled to sign on Monday, includes $50 million in funding per year for the next five fiscal years aimed at reducing emissions at ports.

Section 11402 of the bill, "Reduction of Truck Emissions at Port Facilities," calls for Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg to "establish a program to reduce idling at port facilities."

The bill calls for the transportation secretary to study how "ports and intermodal port transfer facilities would benefit from increased opportunities to reduce emissions at ports, including through the electrification of port operations."

In particular, the secretary is to study emerging technologies and procedures that would help reduce emissions at ports from idling trucks.

The $250 million will fund ways to "test, evaluate, and deploy projects that reduce port-related emissions from idling trucks, including through the advancement of port electrification and improvements in efficiency, focusing on port operations, including heavy-duty commercial vehicles, and other related projects."

Port facilities may not only face new meddling from the Transportation Department, but the Environmental Protection Agency and the Energy Department may also be consulted by Buttigieg as part of the reduced emissions program, according to the text of the bill.

Biden, who visited the Port of Baltimore on Wednesday to tout the infrastructure bill, mentioned the supply chain crisis and the logjam at the ports, stating how "ships are lined up 70-some lined up out as far as you could see."

The president did not mention the emissions regulations and electrification of ports the infrastructure bill will fund, but said his administration will alleviate the current supply chain crisis and the bottlenecks at the ports.

"I'm not waiting to sign a bill to start improving the flow of goods from ships to shelves," Biden said. "Yesterday, I announced a port of — a port plan of action. It lays out concrete steps for my administration to take over the next three months to invest in our ports and to relieve bottlenecks."

The logjam at the ports has caused supply chain delays, and more than half of Americans reported being affected.

It's unclear how the emissions reduction program will alleviate port bottlenecks once implementation of the program begins.

53 drug-trafficking, gang-violence arrests announced through joint investigation

Local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies have announced the arrests of 53 people, most from Alamance County, as the result of a two-year joint investigation into drug trafficking and gang-related violence concentrated in Alamance County. Ten more suspects are still at large and wanted in connection with the investigation.

The joint law enforcement was entitled “Operation Bottom to Top,” and a joint press conference conducted Friday outlined the scope of the investigation.

EVOLUTION OF THE INVESTIGATION: FOCUS ON BURLINGTON GANG LEADER

According to a press release from the State Bureau of Investigation detailing the history of the investigation, in the spring of 2020, detectives with the Burlington Police Department (BPD) Gang and Violent Crimes Unit conducted multiple investigations into Burlington resident Tre McCandies and his associates.

Previously, according to the SBI, during an investigation of a gang-related murder, Burlington police investigators learned that McCandies is a “Five Star General” of the 9Trey Bloods, a violent “Blood gang of the United Blood Nation,” according to the SBI.

Throughout 2019 and 2020, gang-related violent crime rose dramatically in Burlington and throughout Alamance County, according to the SBI.

In addition to the violent crime, McCandies and his close gang associates were known to investigators as low- to mid-level cocaine and marijuana distributors.

Detectives in violent crime units in Burlington and Alamance County began sharing intelligence and working jointly to investigate McCandies and his associates, according to the SBI. The Alamance County Narcotics Enforcement Team (ANET) partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) to combat the drug-fueled gang violence that was increasing in Alamance County.

ANET is a multi-agency team comprised of investigators from the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office and municipal police departments in Burlington, Graham, Mebane, Elon, Haw River, and Gibsonville.

Due to McCandies’ leadership role in gang-related violence and drug trafficking activity, investigators at the DEA, SBI, and ANET, working with Burlington police, Alamance County Sheriff’s Office, and ATF combined efforts to jointly investigate McCandies and his local organization.

They All Knew It Was a Lie: Photo Released of John Brennan Telling Obama About Hillary’s Efforts to Paint Trump as Russian Operative

On Sunday Morning former Rep. Doug Collins, the former ranking member on the House Judiciary Committee, joined Maria Bartiromo on Sunday Morning Futures.

During their discussion, they revealed that then CIA Director John Brennan gave then President Barack Obama a private briefing on Hillary Clinton’s efforts to paint Donald Trump as a Russian operative.

Doug Collins: I’m going to say, not only the FBI, Comey and Strzok and McCabe ought to be very worried about Durham’s investigation. I’m going to say Brennan and Clapper, remember they were the ones that actually briefed Obama about the entire plot from Hillary Clinton to try and paint Donald Trump with Russia. There’s got to be some accountability.

Maria Bartiromo: Yeah, we got a picture of John Brennan in the Oval Office with President Obama, explaining, and we know now the notes because John Ratcliffe exposed those notes showing that Brennan told Obama that Hillary Clinton was cooking up this idea to tie Donald Trump. So they all knew, they all were aware of what was going on.

NBC’s Stephanie Ruhle Says Americans Should Stop Complaining About Inflation Because They Can Easily Afford to Pay More

NBC’s Stephanie Ruhle said Americans should stop complaining about inflation because they can easily afford to pay more for food and fuel to heat homes.

“And the dirty little secret here, Willie, while nobody likes to pay more, on average we have the money to do so,” Ruhle said.

According Stephanie Ruhle, “Household savings hit a record high over the pandemic. We didn’t have anywhere to go out and spend. And as we said a moment ago, we’re expecting retail sales this holiday season to break records.”

What about all the people who lost their jobs due to the unconstitutional lockdowns?

The fake news media is out in full force running cover for the Biden Regime.

Bloomberg ran an opinion piece on Friday running cover for the corrupt and incompetent Biden Regime’s supply chain crisis.

“Suddenly, Americans can’t spend like they used to. Store shelves are emptying, and it can take months to find a car, refrigerator or sofa.” Bloomberg said.

“If this continues, we may need to — gasp! — live more like the Europeans. That actually might not be a bad thing.”

These DC media elitists are so out of touch with the common American.

A new ABC poll released Sunday shows Republicans hold their largest lead in midterm election preferences among registered voters.
