It was General Victor Krulak that identified General Lansdale in front of the Texas School Book Depository. Col. Fletcher Prowdy identified Lansdale, and he confirmed with Krulak. General Lansdale served in the Office of Strategic Services and the Central Intelligence Agency. He rose to the rank of Major General and was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal in 1963. He was the man that walked past the three tramps in the infamous photo in front of the TSBD. After passing, he walked over and started talking to George H.W. Bush, who was also present minutes after the assassination.
There is a great still showing Lansdale standing beside George H.W. Bush. Two CIA brothers overseeing the assassination of the president.
Michael looks pissed.
